Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai fame Kirtida Mistry and Ribbhu Mehra tie the knot
Actors Kirtida Mistry and Ribbhu Mehra who acted together in the show Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai tied the knot on February 23 in a traditional wedding ceremony in Noida. The couple had a Roka ceremony in Mumbai last May.
Ribbhu talked about it in an interview and shared, “It was like a three-day festival, where the entire family came together to celebrate the wedding ceremonies and create some beautiful memories. The USP for me was my mother, father, and sister performing for us at our sangeet. It was an emotional moment. Another special moment was Kirti’s entry on our wedding day when she pleasantly surprised me with her dance, and I joined in.”
Kirtida also added to the conversation and said, “I had butterflies in my stomach and the usual nervousness a week before the big day. I was going through mixed emotions, but pure happiness superseded them all. For me, the highlight was the haldi ceremony. We were soaked in haldi, water, and flowers. The most beautiful and surreal moments were exchanging rings, putting sindoor, and the mangalsutra ritual. Apart from the seven vows, we took an extra one of being friends first, which has been the foundation of our relationship.”
The couple plans to host a reception for their friends in Mumbai soon. While they have not decided on their honeymoon destination, they have planned a trip with their families soon after the wedding.
