Love is like water. It always finds a way to heart, healing the wounds and filling the gaps. Sooner or later. All the colours of different personalities get mixed in water, just like all the colours get mixed in water.

Her love for him was like river, calm and quiet. His live for him was like ocean. There were strong waves of emotions. That may create differences but that’s what it’s all about, learning to face it together.

She was calm but he was fierce and rough. She was thoughtful and cautious, he was impulsive. She was messy, he was a cleanliness freak. They were opposites yet madly in love.

“Shivaay” her voice snapped him out of his thoughts. We need to untie the knots in our relations. It is impossible to move on until we make peace with our past. I don’t know why but you are behaving weirdly these days. You have been shutting me out. Please tell me, what is it? ” she took his hands in hers and gave a gentle squeeze.

“I know Anika. I have been shutting you out from past few days. It’s just I– I can’t… ” he paused. “I want us to move ahead but my guilt holds me back.”

“Shivaay! Those things are in the past. We all make mistakes, even I had made mistakes” she explained.

“But Anika those mistakes are unforgivable ” he said.

“When I can forgive you, then why can’t you? Sins are not forgivable but mistakes are and you have not committed a sin”

“Anika! For me that was not less than a sin. Not trusting you wasn’t just a mistake but a sin indeed. ” Anika was in awe of him.

Can this man get any cuter? She went for the Memory Lane. His journey from stone Singh Oberoi to Sweet singh was commendable. She has seen him grow as a person. How he had learnt to keep his ego aside to take decisions.

“Shivaay, it wasn’t just your mistake. I was equally responsible. If I had the courage then we wouldn’t have fallen apart”

“My anger has cost us, your happiness. Whatever it was, I should have trusted you” a tear rolled down his cheek.

“Shivaay. It’s OK. We learn from our mistakes” she wiped his tear.

“But… ” she cut him off.

“No buts and ifs. Whatever happened is in the past. Wait a minute, alright” she got up and placed the dustbin infront of them. Then she set fire to it.

“Let’s take vows again. 3 each and one… ” Shivaay cut her off.

“One together ” he smiled.

“Yeah! So I’ll start” she smiled. “You’ll love me no matter what. Even if you hate me”

“I promise to love you even when I hate you”

“You will trust me even if it means going against the world ”

“I will trust you. I promise ”

“You will always hold my hand and support me in my decisions”

“I promise to hold your hand forever and support you and your decisions” Shivaay said. “You will always guide me to the right, like everytime”

“Always”

“You will calm me when my demons overpower me”

“I promise ”

“You will be the remedy to my wounds”

“I promise. Now let’s do it together”

“We will always stand by each other and trust each other. We will always stick together till death does us apart” the smiled and he engulfed her in a bone crushing hug.

Forever and ever.
