Bigg Boss OTT 2: Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife Aaliya gets eliminated in a shocking midweek eviction
Aaliya Siddiqui, the estranged wife of Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has become the latest contestant to be unexpectedly evicted from the house in the middle of the week, following in the footsteps of Puneet Superstar and Palak Purswani. After spending two and a half weeks on the show, Aaliya was asked to leave by Bigg Boss, following an audience poll that determined her fate.
When Aaliya joined the show, her intention was to break away from her “star wife” image and reveal her true personality. However, many housemates felt that she was playing the victim card by constantly sharing her divorce story. During one of the episodes, Pooja Bhatt expressed her confusion about Aaliya’s personality, stating, “I’ve been very perplexed by Aaliya Siddiqui’s behavior in the past week, and I couldn’t figure her out. In the last 24 hours, I witnessed a side of her that was quite unsettling. I want to be honest with you, my marriage has also fallen apart, as have the marriages of many other women before and unfortunately, many more will face this in the future. However, people grow tired of seeing someone play the victim. I believe that if you let go of the victim mentality, you will succeed in life.”
Before entering Bigg Boss OTT 2, Aaliya shared her reasons for participating in an interview. She stated, “It is true that I am primarily known as a star wife, and I won’t deny it. When you come to Mumbai with big dreams, you don’t come with the intention of getting married and having children. I too arrived with similar aspirations, but the challenges in my married life were numerous. I wanted to do something for myself and not rely on anyone financially. Bigg Boss OTT 2 offered me the perfect platform to establish my own identity.”
