Bigg Boss OTT 2: Major face-off between Jiya Shankar and Bebika Dhurve
The second season of Bigg Boss OTT is generating intense drama with each episode, and within just a week of its launch, the show has already witnessed three evictions. Following the departures of Puneet Superstar and Palak Purswani, the latest contestant to be eliminated is Aaliya Siddiqui, the estranged wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The recent episode showcased a heated altercation between Bebika Dhurve and Jiya Shankar, with both contestants resorting to hurling insults at each other.
The incident unfolded after Team B, comprising Abhishek Malhan, Jiya Shankar, Akanksha Puri, Aaliya Siddiqui, and Jad Hadid, emerged victorious in a competition involving the creation of soft toys. As a reward, Bigg Boss announced special privileges for Team B, including access to premium food items and exemption from household chores, with Team A being assigned the responsibility of fulfilling their tasks.
During a discussion about the distribution of household duties in the living room, a heated argument erupted between Jiya and Bebika. It was Bebika who initiated the exchange by referring to Jiya using an offensive term, to which Jiya retaliated by hurling a different derogatory term back at her. Jiya also requested Bebika to refrain from using abusive language towards her. Pooja Bhatt, who was present at the time, intervened and urged both parties to calm down, advising Jiya to save such strong language for later. However, Jiya continued to assert that Bebika should be the one to cease using abusive language first.
Later on, Jiya reiterated her plea for everyone to treat each other with respect and honor.
This is not the first instance of Jiya verbally attacking Bebika. In a previous episode, Jiya had referred to Bebika using an offensive term, despite Cyrus warning her that her parents might be watching. Nevertheless, Jiya did not restrain herself and continued to insult Bebika on three separate occasions.
