Bigg Boss 16: Sumbul Touqeer’s father reacts to the reports of her fee being slashed by 50 percent
Recently there have been reports, claiming that the makers of Bigg Boss 16 have slashed Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s reimbursement by 50 percent post the announcement of the extension. According to the reports, Sumbul, who is the highest-paid contestant of this season, will now get half of what she has been getting so far.
Sumbul’s father has denied the reports. Touqeer Khan said, “Ye sirf dusre PR dwara Sumbul ki image or popularity se dar kar, usse sideline karne ke liye kiya jaa raha hai.” “In yesterday’s episode, Priyanka and her friends were trying to nominate Sumbul. Tina wanted to save Ankit and that is why she was forced to not take Sumbul’s name.” he added.
Meanwhile, Sumbul’s team has also rubbished the reports and shared, “The report by a website of Sumbul’s price slashing is baseless. Sumbul is doing well and is winning hearts. It’s strange that the specific website wrote whatever they felt like to get attention and hits. Sumbul is inside the house and her fans all over the world are happy seeing her in the Bigg Boss house.”
