Bigg Boss 15 recently witnessed three evictions back to back in the form of Jay Bhanushali, Vishal Kotian and Neha Bhasin. Jay who started the show in high spirits was considered to be a strong contender for the trophy. In a recent interview, Jay talked about his journey in the house, his eviction, and more.
He shared, “The eviction was disappointing actually but not that I got eliminated, I am surprised that this season was totally different from the seasons that I’ve seen. The winner qualities that we’ve seen before this, they are opinionated, I was doing that, second, they give their 100% in the task, fighting for others and take a stand for others, I did that too. In the beginning, I was entertaining people also and then I realized after the third week that everything is different and you see it when you evaluate how your entire day has been. When you see yourself, you know what’s happening, I saw that I was getting targeted post the 3rd week, I had a fight in the first week then I also took a stand for him too, when Karna Kundrra pinned him (Pratik) down. I was emotional about some stuff and I will not see who is the other person. For example, everything happened during the ration task when I shouted at Afsana and Shamita; you genuinely don’t get anything later, so it was okay. No one said anything because they wanted to be in their good books. I said that if my ration is going and I am not getting food, I will speak.”
He added, “I also got a hearing when the Afsana bit happened, the first line she told Rajiv was that if you come in between, I will take my clothes off; I asked her not to say such a thing. She also said that she is getting Rajiv so that he can rape me; these were her words and he was crying in the corner. I told her to not casually say such things because they leave an impression.”
Talking about Afsana’s interview where she said that Neha, Shamita, Rajiv, and Jay tortured me, he said, “What did I do, and what kind of torture will someone do that they will say such ugly things. During the coconut task too, she alleged that Simba and Pratik are touching her inappropriately and that became a pattern. You don’t want to hear such things and I told her that what is she saying but she said what she said, and then eventually people were like I don’t want to do such a task where this kind of allegation might be put on me. If someone is not fighting, I said that I will not speak behind your backs, so I said everything to everyone in the face and that’s what I think went wrong and that was a problem for me. The same thing went wrong with Vishal too because I am not this kind of a person. But there, people were like it’s just about tasks and they don’t have to do anything. I was singled out I feel. Even Salman sir said he sees winner qualities and then in the same week I was on the 6th position in the most valuable player, you get disappointed.”
When asked about Vishal and will he give that friendship another chance, Jay replied, “Of course I am fine with everything, you have a handful of people in the show, we will be cordial outside and it is not like he will become my best friend. In the end, what happened happened, I don’t have to face him or meet him every day, so we’ll just be cordial.”
