Rishi urges the family to let Ayush and Shalu make their own choices, but Malishka accuses him of losing perspective. She insists the elders should decide for Ayush and tells Rishi to rest. Just then, Shalu arrives and breaks down, saying Ayush refused to listen when she tried to explain things to him. Malishka is secretly pleased. Shalu declares that their fight felt like one between a husband and wife. Aanchal harshly tells her not to speak like she’s Ayush’s fiancée, while Karishma reminds her everything has changed. Shalu leaves in tears.
Malishka calls Shalu disrespectful and unworthy, with Aanchal and Karishma joining in to insult both Shalu and Lakshmi. They claim the marriage is now off. Despite feeling hurt, Rishi listens in silence. They go as far as accusing Rano and even blaming Lakshmi for Neelam’s death, alleging she only stayed with them for luxury. Rishi walks away, distressed.
Outside the mansion, Anushka arrives and calls Malishka. She bumps into Shalu and humiliates her for her background, ordering her never to return. Shalu retaliates, warning Anushka to stay away from the Oberois. Anushka arrogantly claims she will marry Ayush and that even Rishi will support her. She reveals a shocking secret—that Lakshmi had agreed to leave Rishi so that Shalu and Ayush could marry. This revelation leaves Shalu stunned.
Anushka mocks Shalu’s ignorance, saying Lakshmi hid the truth out of love. Shalu defends her bond with Ayush, saying they are meant to be. Meanwhile, Ayush is heartbroken and tells Rishi that he ended things with Shalu because everything around them has turned bitter. He doesn’t want to support Lakshmi anymore, empathizing with Rishi’s pain over losing Neelam.
Ayush acknowledges Rishi’s courtroom stand against Lakshmi and says he understands the sorrow of losing faith in someone you love. The brothers share an emotional hug, bound by grief and broken trust.
