Rano convinces Shalu to proceed with the engagement at the auspicious time for Lakshmi, and Shalu agrees. Meanwhile, Balwinder searches for Lakshmi in the hospital, hearing her faint voice from the cold storage but failing to locate her.
At the Oberoi mansion, Rishi inquires about Lakshmi, but Neelam reminds him to focus on Ayush and Shalu’s engagement. Malishka accuses Lakshmi of disappearing intentionally to overshadow her. Shalu defends Lakshmi, leading to an argument, but Rishi and the pandit urge everyone to stop and continue the ceremony.
Balwinder searches the basement for Lakshmi but leaves, thinking she isn’t there. Meanwhile, Shalu puts the ring on Ayush’s finger, but as he prepares to do the same, Anushka interrupts, demanding the engagement be stopped. She takes the engagement ring, refusing to return it. When Karishma asks her to leave, Malishka attempts to throw her out, but Anushka retaliates with sharp remarks.
Suddenly, NGO women arrive at the mansion, claiming they are there to stop the engagement and get justice for Anushka. They insist Ayush is Anushka’s husband and cannot marry Shalu. Rishi tries to clarify, but Anushka pretends to faint. The NGO women ask Malishka to fetch water, and she leaves with Kiran.
Elsewhere, Lakshmi, trapped in the cold storage, tries to keep warm using cardboard. Malishka, scheming against Lakshmi, contacts an expert to determine how long someone can survive in freezing temperatures and learns Lakshmi has only half an hour left.
