Rishi struggles with Lakshmi and Shalu’s words, caught in a storm of doubt. Malishka meets him and uses the opportunity to manipulate him. She pretends to feel conflicted but insists she’s only seeking justice for Neelam. Claiming to love and respect Neelam deeply, Malishka reveals she’s seen unseen CCTV footage and urges Rishi to watch it. Upon seeing Lakshmi near the chandelier rope, Rishi is visibly shaken.
The courtroom reconvenes after recess. Lakshmi arrives, holding onto hope as she sees Rishi. The lawyers resume their heated debate about her confession and denial. Malishka takes the stand and testifies against Lakshmi, portraying her as someone who constantly clashed with Neelam and even attempted to harm her unborn child. Shalu accuses Malishka of lying, but the lawyer continues to press accusations.
When asked about her relationship with Lakshmi, Malishka claims they were never close, despite her earlier statements. The defense counters by pointing out Malishka’s desire to take Lakshmi’s place in Rishi’s life. Malishka denies any personal agenda, but tension rises as the courtroom watches her intentions unravel.
Rishi requests to speak and steps into the witness box. Everyone, especially Shalu, hopes he will defend Lakshmi. He begins by praising Lakshmi’s selflessness and devotion to family, moving her to tears. But just as hope builds, Rishi abruptly turns on Lakshmi, claiming she has changed and is now capable of terrible acts.
He accuses Lakshmi of killing Neelam and attempting to harm Malishka’s unborn child. He submits the CCTV footage as evidence. Shalu, devastated, accuses him of lying, but Rishi insists he’s telling the truth. Lakshmi fears the footage may expose Paro’s presence, further deepening the crisis.
