The argument escalates until the police inspector intervenes, announcing that Lakshmi is under arrest due to the accusations. Rishi, Harleen, Ayush, and Shalu vehemently object, arguing against her arrest. Shalu questions Kiran, asking if the necklace was in Rishi’s room. When Kiran confirms, Aanchal insinuates that Shalu is accusing Rishi, but Shalu clarifies her stance. She reveals seeing someone in Rishi’s room—Anushka. Shalu narrates how Anushka attacked her and made her unconscious. Lakshmi, concerned, checks on Shalu, who reassures her that she is fine.
The police, however, shift focus and announce they are there to arrest Ayush for Anushka’s alleged kidnapping. The Oberoi family protests, but the officers refuse to listen and proceed to detain Ayush. Lakshmi intervenes, asserting that Ayush cannot be arrested until a proper investigation is conducted.
