During the Lohri celebrations, Ayush decides to express his feelings to Shalu, declaring that it’s time to share what’s in his heart. Karishma interrupts, insisting that such discussions are inappropriate for the occasion, while Neelam also objects, citing tradition. However, Rishi and Harleen support Ayush, questioning why expressing love during Lohri is wrong. Despite the objections, Ayush takes Shalu aside and proposes to her.
In a quiet moment, Ayush confesses his love and asks Shalu to marry him. Shalu, surprised, hesitates and suggests discussing it later. Ayush presses for an immediate answer, but Shalu firmly declines, stating that her decision is final—she cannot marry him. Karishma is shocked by her refusal, while Rano mocks Karishma’s changing stance, accusing her of arrogance and pointing out that Shalu’s rejection has wounded their pride.
Meanwhile, Anushka and Neel plot to steal a necklace. They wait for an opportunity and successfully take it when Varsha leaves it unattended, planning to escape once Neel’s friend arrives. The celebration takes a turn when Kiran notices the necklace is missing and accuses someone present of the theft. Malishka pretends to be concerned as Kiran threatens to involve the police if the necklace is not returned, leaving the festivities in turmoil.
Precap: Anushka asks Neel if his friend has arrived. Neel says he has and started executing the plan. Kiran accuses Lakshmi of steeling a necklace.
