The episode starts with the manager informing that the police will soon arrive and expose the real thief. Meanwhile, Lakshmi pulls Rishi aside, questioning why he told the police he placed the ring in Shalu’s bag. Rishi explains that he did it to protect Shalu and urges Lakshmi to trust him. Lakshmi reacts emotionally to his words.
Elsewhere, Anushka calls Shalu to mock her, revealing that she framed her and that jail is inevitable. Later, she calls Malishka to share the “good news” about Shalu’s arrest. However, Malishka is upset, reminding Anushka that she was supposed to frame Lakshmi, not Shalu. Anushka brushes off Malishka’s frustration.
The police arrive at the jewelry store, where the manager insists that Shalu stole the ring, citing Rishi’s own admission. However, he also notes that Rishi hasn’t paid for the ring. The police decide to take Shalu in for questioning, leaving her terrified. She pleads with Lakshmi, who steps in and requests the police to check the CCTV footage, assuring them it will prove the truth. The cops agree.
Meanwhile, Anushka calls Malishka again, happily announcing that Shalu has been arrested. Malishka, overjoyed, shares the news with Kiran, confident that Lakshmi will no longer be able to interfere. However, Kiran warns that Shalu could still marry into their family once released. Malishka dismisses her concern, believing she will have secured her place as the true daughter-in-law by then. She begins wedding preparations, while Kiran remains uneasy.
Back at the store, just as the police are about to take Shalu away, Rishi stops them. He presents a gift card that allows him to purchase anything from the showroom. The skeptical manager questions its validity, but the store owner arrives just in time, confirming that he gave Rishi the card. He fabricates a reason to justify it, apologizes for the confusion, and dismisses the police.
Rishi thanks the owner, who assures him it was no trouble. Shalu also expresses her gratitude, and Rishi playfully responds. Anushka, frustrated that her plan has failed, is further annoyed when Neel mocks her. In anger, she throws him out and warns him never to return. At the Oberoi house, Malishka approaches Neelam and Karishma, expressing her wish to oversee all wedding arrangements as the future daughter-in-law. They agree to support her.
