Lakshmi requests Rishi not to remain upset or angry with her and tries to cheer him up. Rishi acts playfully, and Lakshmi sings a song to lighten the mood. He smiles and hugs her. Meanwhile, the family prepares for Ayush and Shalu’s Mehendi ceremony. Ayush and Harleen share a humorous exchange where Ayush complains about the male side being overlooked during pre-wedding festivities. Harleen suggests he enjoy the events and even have a bachelor party, but Ayush cancels it, revealing he has invited some special dancers instead.
Anchal encourages him to stop sulking and join the Mehendi function. Ayush, wanting to feel important, thinks about Shalu—who appears, lifting his spirits. He compliments her, prompting Harleen to tease him and ask Shalu to handle him. Shalu then goes to Lakshmi, who calls the nurse and learns that the DNA test results have arrived and are being delivered to the Oberoi mansion. The nurse urges her to collect them and uncover the truth about Malishka’s baby. Lakshmi thanks her.
Shanaya overhears this and rushes to alert Malishka. Meanwhile, Rishi questions Lakshmi, asking how she would feel if he kept secrets. Shanaya tells Malishka to stay close to Rishi, believing he still cares for her, but also points out that Rishi clearly loves Lakshmi now. She advises Malishka to think about her future. Malishka grows anxious but dismisses Shanaya’s warning. Kiran then informs them about Neelam’s health reports, calming the situation.
Lakshmi and Rishi’s conversation about secrets gets interrupted when Harleen calls him. Lakshmi updates Shalu about the DNA reports, and Shalu is thrilled. Ayush notices their joy and tries to hug Shalu, who hides behind Lakshmi. The moment lightens with jokes and teasing from Anchal and Harleen, who nudge Rishi to check on the dancers’ arrival. Ayush and Shalu start bickering again, and Lakshmi leaves them to it.
Anushka arrives secretly and bumps into Lakshmi before quickly hiding. She’s scheming against the Oberoi family. Malishka confronts Rishi, questioning why they no longer share the bond they once had. Rishi tells her he doesn’t understand her expectations and reminds her to focus on the present. Shalu, eager for Mehendi, insists on dancing first. Despite Rano’s initial resistance, Anchal convinces her to let Shalu enjoy.
Malishka again tries to stir emotions in Rishi, asking if he misses their past relationship. Rishi clarifies that he has moved on. Neelam walks in on their conversation and questions Rishi about his relationship with Lakshmi. She warns Lakshmi not to cross boundaries and demands Rishi confess the truth.
