Rano vents her frustration to Shalu, criticizing Rishi for losing faith in Lakshmi despite his past claims of love and trust. She declares him a terrible husband for putting Lakshmi in danger and warns Shalu not to defend him or Ayush, who have both let them down. Shalu then drops a bombshell—Ayush has broken off their engagement, calling her a “murderer’s sister” and claiming the Oberois will never accept her. Devastated, Rano vows revenge, but Shalu stops her.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi and other inmates are being transferred to court when chaos erupts. A fellow prisoner grabs a gun, threatening the inspector, but Lakshmi urges her to stop. During the commotion, an accident frees Lakshmi, and the prisoner begs her to flee. However, Lakshmi refuses, determined to stay lawful and reveal the truth to Rishi about Paro’s role in Neelam’s murder.
Back at the Oberoi house, Malishka comforts Anushka, assuring her that Ayush will never marry Shalu, especially with Lakshmi framed for Neelam’s death. Anushka, desperate to marry Ayush, leaves hopeful.
As Lakshmi resists escape, the furious prisoner knocks her unconscious and drags her away—just as Lakshmi had hoped to reunite with her daughter. The inspector pleads with her not to trust criminals, but it’s too late. Will Lakshmi ever get the chance to clear her name?
