Ayush confides in Rishi, expressing deep anguish and confusion after losing faith in Lakshmi. He regrets having trusted her blindly and feels lost, even questioning his own existence. He admits guilt for thinking negatively about Lakshmi, acknowledging that he once defended her against Rishi and others, but now realizes the truth Rishi shared in court. Ayush then declares he no longer wants to continue his relationship with Shalu. Rishi urges him not to be biased and encourages him to talk to Shalu and resolve their differences.
Rishi reflects on always standing by Lakshmi but confesses that he can’t forgive her for taking Neelam away. Meanwhile, Shalu tells Anushka that she believes Rishi and Lakshmi will reunite and so will she and Ayush. Anushka mocks her and accuses her of provoking the Oberoi family against her. Shalu suspects Malishka is feeding Anushka information and confronts her, boldly accusing both of murdering Neelam. Shalu vows to prove their crime, revealing that Lakshmi overheard their incriminating conversation.
As the confrontation escalates, Shalu affirms her love for Ayush and declares no one can come between them. Anushka is left furious. Rishi, on the other hand, wants justice to prevail and warns Ayush not to let his love suffer for someone else’s wrongdoing.
Ayush admits his love for Shalu but says that love alone isn’t enough—he wants his family’s acceptance too. Aware that Shalu will always be associated with Lakshmi, he chooses to sacrifice his love to avoid bringing disgrace upon her. Rishi relates, saying he once chose Lakshmi over his family and regrets it. He advises Ayush to think carefully. Ayush confirms he has already decided to part ways with Shalu. Malishka overhears and is pleased.
Meanwhile, a heartbroken Shalu returns home in tears. When Rano asks what happened, Shalu reveals that Ayush accused Lakshmi of murder. Rano is shocked and upset by the betrayal.
