It seems like the third wave is here as several actors have tested positive for COVID -19 in recent times. The latest one Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai fame Nehha Pendse, who essays the role of Anita bhabhi in the show.
In a recent interview with BT, Nehha talked about it and shared, “It has been very bad. It started with a high fever and severe headache. The first RT-PCR was negative, but I tested again at home, which was positive. However, I couldn’t book another RT-PCR test as it was a Sunday. So, no test could happen. I again got tested yesterday and got my report today, which is positive. But technically, I have been suffering for the past four-five days. I am extremely weak and have not been able to get out of bed. I survived two waves, but the third one caught me unawares.”
She added, “I didn’t want to take a chance and since I was in a bad state, I isolated myself instantly. I was in excruciating pain for the first two days and I am feeling slightly better today. My husband (Shardul Bayas) will undergo a test in some time.”
When asked if the show may suffer in her absence, she replies, “Not at all. We have a healthy bank of episodes. In fact, we are so sorted ki hamaari ek generation aagey shoot nahi karegi toh bhi telecast nahi rukega (smiles!). We have been working in a streamlined manner. I haven’t shot in a week.”
