Happu is speaking with a contractor about a bribe he promised to get a case dismissed, mentioning that the Commissioner takes even more bribes than him. Suddenly, Manohar and the Commissioner enter, and the Commissioner becomes furious, accusing Happu of being dishonest. Happu apologizes, but the Commissioner, angry, tells him he’s replaceable. He declares that the next person to walk into the police station will be the new senior inspector. At that moment, Tiwari rushes in, claiming that Teeka and Tillu are falsely accusing him of causing an accident. Teeka and Tillu arrive and cause a scene, but the Commissioner yells at them, making them leave. The Commissioner then appoints a confused Tiwari as the new senior inspector and demotes a protesting Happu to constable.
Meanwhile, Vibhu and David visit a tailor to get suits made. After taking David’s measurements, the tailor takes Vibhu’s. Later, the tailor tells David that Vibhu is trouble. Tiwari enters, and Vibhu confronts him for hitting Anu with his vehicle, but Tiwari insists it was an accident. Tiwari then flaunts his new position as senior inspector, showing them his ID card, which makes Vibhu and David nervous. Tiwari gets his uniform measured, and both he and Vibhu call their wives—Tiwari to boast to Angoori, and Vibhu to inform Anu.
Later, everyone gathers with flowers to welcome Tiwari. Teeka and Tillu grumble about Tiwari’s promotion, but Ammaji silences them. Anu, watching from her balcony, is upset because Tiwari caused her leg injury. Tiwari arrives in his uniform and is warmly welcomed, though Anu laments the state of the police force. Tiwari proudly announces he has left his old business behind for this new role. Vibhu and David show up in suits, and Vibhu and Tiwari start dancing. Vibhu mocks Tiwari’s uniform, saying his suit is more impressive, but Tiwari insists his uniform carries authority. Ammaji calls Tiwari, and Vibhu jokes with her, prompting Tiwari to ask why she’s calling Vibhu her son. Angoori then reveals that Ammaji adopted Vibhu, making him Tiwari’s elder brother, leaving Tiwari bewildered.
