Vibhu, drunk and stumbling home, nearly falls into a pit but is saved by a woman. He lands in her arms, and they exchange smiles, gazing at each other for a moment.
Meanwhile, David is warming his hands by the fireplace at home, listening to the radio. Anu arrives on a rickshaw. David asks why she’s so late, and she explains she was busy in a meeting. He invites her to warm up by the fire. Sitting down, Anu asks about Vibhu. David says Vibhu hasn’t returned since afternoon. She suggests calling him, but David’s phone is dead. Anu tells him to call Prem, but David discovers Prem’s phone is also dead. Anu grows worried and urges David to check at Tiwari’s house. Despite the cold weather, David reluctantly agrees.
At Tiwari’s home, Angoori asks him to play a game. Tiwari refuses, but Angoori insists, blindfolding him and running away. Tiwari playfully chases her but accidentally catches David instead. Frustrated, David asks about Vibhu, but Tiwari and Angoori claim they haven’t seen him. David leaves disappointed.
Later, Vibhu returns home dressed as a groom with the woman who saved him, now his bride. Anu is confused. Vibhu introduces her as Takaya, his new wife, and refers to Anu as his ex-wife. Shocked, Anu demands an explanation. Vibhu accuses her of being controlling and constantly criticizing him for being unemployed. Upset, Anu declares she’ll leave so they can live peacefully. Vibhu thanks her and takes Takaya to their room, delighting his new bride.
Anu arrives at Tiwari’s house with her luggage. Tiwari and Angoori are shocked when she says she’s left her home and wants to stay with them. Tiwari eagerly agrees, while Angoori asks what happened. Anu breaks down, explaining everything. Angoori is stunned and leaves to get coffee for Anu. Tiwari sympathizes, saying it’s good the unemployed Vibhu is gone. Anu is confused by his comment.
Elsewhere, Teeka and Tillu drink together, fantasizing about their married lives. They mock each other, but soon both are crying. Saxena suddenly arrives, wailing loudly, scaring them. He announces he’s leaving to live in a forest temple surrounded by scorpions and snakes.
The next morning, Angoori is watering plants when Anu greets her. Angoori asks if she’s going jogging, but Anu declines, feeling down. Angoori suggests watering the plants to relax. Vibhu arrives, and Anu hides. Angoori speaks to Vibhu rudely, surprising him. Takaya then appears with coffee for Vibhu, calling him “darling.” Anu is shocked.
Meanwhile, a stranger spies on everyone, hiding behind a newspaper. Vibhu and Takaya share a romantic moment, with Vibhu lifting her and kissing her. Angoori, stunned, rushes to Anu, who starts crying. Angoori takes Anu inside to console her.
