Rudra gets claustrophobia when lift stops and he feels short of breath. Maya asks if he is feeling hot, short of breath, etc., as if he is dying; he will feel his eyes closing, he can hope on only himself, but he cannot, etc.. Rudra falls down. Maya continues her speech. Rudra reminisces MJ romancing a girl in lift. Maya asks him to leave the fear behind and get up and he can do it. She holds Rudra’s hand on lift and makes him get up. Rudra opens lift door with great difficulty and walks out while Maya feels the pleasure seeing his situation. He then walks out and enjoys rain reminiscing MJ romancing his girlfriend. Maya holds umbrella on him and says only he has right to confine himself and not others whether it is some memory, some pain, love, or hatred; whenever he will understand this, he will be free of all self-confinements. She walks away holding her book while Rudra watches.

MJ tells daadi it is her old habit to overconcern regarding her health, he just cares for his family and he has only she and his children as family. Antara gets shock hearing that. Daadi says overpossessiveness and controlling them is his hobby, walks away.. Antara confronts him if she is not part of his life even after 30 years. He says like in a liquor, his mother is lemon which wards off bitterness, ice cubes his sons, and she is water which he uses rarely and not necessarily.

Rishi calls Maya repeatedly. His friend says he is calling her 15th time. Rishi says phone is not reachable. Friend says not for the boy she is with and asks him to forget her as she is unreachable for him. Rishi pushes him and walks away angrily saying she loves him. Friend thinks he didn’t see such a madness for anyone in Rishi till now.

Rudra drenched in rain goes to Ananya’s house and wears her T-shirt. She tries to dry his hair, but he resists. She says let her take chance on him sometimes and goes to get coffee. She gets coffee and asks where did he take Maya. He asks if she is jealous of Maya. She says obviously. He says she is mysterious like a book, each chapter has hidden secret, 1000s of chapters which one loves to read. Ananya asks if he fell in her love, he should as only she can love him and not anyone else. Rudra says he saw a common girl today worried for her mother, vulnerable, etc., and not like typical Maya. Maya’s mother calls Rudra, but Maya snatches phone and throws it down. Ananya looks at him. He says Maya’s mother is sweet and not like Maya, he will call her back. Ananya asks not to start calling her mummy ji from aunty ji. Maya sees Rudra’s call and throws phone in water. Rudra says Maya’s behavior is completely different with her mother.

Maya takes milk for her mother and says this world is full of bad people and she is trying to protect her from them. Mother says there are also good people in the world and she should give them a chance, it is time for her to move ahead. Rishi sends video message cutting his wrist and telling he will die if he doesn’t meet her right now. She tells mother it is time to move ahead. She waits for him watching his videos. Rishi walks to her and says he is Rishi Mrityunjai Roy.

She cuts her wrist and tells Rishi that this is her past and his dear ones had betrayed her. Rishi says he will do whatever she says and I love you.
