Samay gives evidence in favor of Maya. Judge pronounces Ayan guilty. Saanjh and her team look in a shock. Maya with cross eyes looks at Samay. Police take Ayan out of court. Journalist question him if he is not ashamed trying to rape his sister in law. Vandana asks him not to worry, Saanjh will prove him innocent. Ayan’s fiance says she will wait for him. Arjun tells Saanjh that she will try to bail out Ayan repeatedly and he will try to cancel her bail. Police take Ayan. Arjun is about to sit in car when he gets a call and moves aside. Maya asks not to leave her alone. He says nothing will happen and moves aside. She looks at Saanjh. A few women catch Saanjh and yell what kind of a woman she is, did not she feel ashamed harming another woman’s dignity. They try to blacken her face. Maya smirks, then gets out of car and stops them and says she will not let any other woman being insulted. Saanjh tried to harm her self-respect, but if she becomes like Saanjh, what is the difference between them. Someone else will decide Saanjh’s punishment, then nobody can save her. She asks women to leave, hugs Saanjh and walks to car looking at Saanjh. Arjun returns and asks why did she come out of car, gets into car and leaves. Saanjh thinks Duffer is going on a wrong path.
Arjun leaning on Jahnvi’s lap cries reminiscing meeting Ayan, Vandana, rest of incidents. He tells Jahnvi it is all his mistake, he should not have met Ayan and told him his sorrows, Ayan would not have taken extreme step, now Ayan will be in jail forever. He hears sound from Maya’s room and rushes in. Maya rubs her skin repeatedly with scrub and tries to clean her injures. She starts bleeding.
Samay enters Saanjh’s room and asks to stop thinking about Arjun and concentrate on Ayan’s bail. She says she cannot forget Arjun so easily. Samaya says she has to get out of her past and concentrate on her future. Saanjh says with her mindset, she cannot give justice to their relationship, so it is better he leaves. He continues his moral gyaan. Suman and Prem enter and listens them.
Maya continues panicking, rubbing her skin with scrub and tells Arjun that her marks are not going. Arjun reminiscing doc telling he has to handle Maya carefully and not let her into any tension. He lifts her out of bathtub and takes her under showers. He holds her tightly and says if she is imperfect, he is more imperfect. He continues his dialogues and romances her. He takes her on bed and consummates. He thinks he has to give her the love she deserves to stop her thinking of the humiliation she went through.
Suman confronts Saanjh that she is more obsessed with Arjun and not Maya. She has to realize that Arjun has left her and will not return. She is rejecting Samay repeatedly and any dignified person would not tolerate this insult, she should move on with Samay now. Saanjh hugs Prem and cries she does not know what to do. He says sometimes sorrows teach us more than what happiness teaches us.
After consummation, Maya smirks that nobody can snatch Arjun from her. She reminisces hiring women to insult Saanjh and giving them money and then warning Saanjh that if she comes between her and Arjun again, she will be in more trouble, she hopes Saanjh understood her warning, else she will face dire consequences.
Precap: Vadana kneels down and begs Arjun to return her son Ayan. Arjun asks her to go away, he or Maya cannot do anything now. Vandana picks knife and runs towards Maya to stab her, but Arjun holds her hand.

Now it is clear that Ayaan did not try to rape Maya. If he had done so Maya really would be traumatized and would not hire people to insult saanjh and by her warning saanjh it’s clear that she did it to keep Arjun away from family.
They have shown it to be Maya’s plan
After seeing those flashbacks, I have lost all love/faith in the show and absolutely HATE the CVs. Maya was grey, they had no right to turn her black. Moreover, they created such a horrible thing as framing rape, it destroys lives whether of victim or accused especially if it is false, to make it all a plan destroys it all.
Also her flashbacks of Ayan’s assault at the hospital, they can’t show that and then say it was her plan to think like that when Arjun touched her, that and so many other events show that it shouldn’t have been planned, yet just to show maya being obsessive they destroyed her character spans completely ignored the previous episodes and their content, they don’t look back only move ahead and it’s destroying everything.
I’m seriously boycotting this show I can’t take anymore of this rubbish. I wished they would show a abused child like maya having darkness but also light that they showed so many times before and made us love her and wish for her betterment, not this character that is destroying all goodness, the show and its characters. I have lost complete hope for this serial, these writers are no different and wish to show a person who is tortured torture others till their death which is disgusting, to make this show different they have to show her besting her demons, not by committing suicide or dying in the end that will be pathetic, she has to win in life and love.
Phase 3 should be Arjun and her separate, and maya eventually realising her mistakes and starting to go towards the light, they have to keep that light within her else they are destroying her character by making her villainous like this. Sure she has manipulated in the past but she has also been genuine and loving to others and has shown her beyhadh but pure love to Arjun that was beautiful, to destroy that all now I cannot bear to see, I guess I should have expected such a thing seeing such a title for the show, but they should have shown her to be from a normal family and life, so we could hate her and condemn her obsessiveness and evilness.
Instead they made her a abused, scared child seeking love and holding onto it as tightly as she can, such an person we cannot help but empathise with and want to redeem and have a chance to be happy and loved, its human nature to wish for someone’s betterment especially if they were given nothing but pain before.
The CVs after this BS better clear it straight, showing Maya’s framing rape is completely inconsistent, immoral and downright pathetic, it destroys her goodness and makes her a character we cannot even relate to any more its just not acceptable.
I’m truthfully leaving the show now, I only wished to see and mentally I’ll abused child heal and escape her darkness, that would have been different and unique to this show instead of making her perpetually dark and destroying herself, that is stereotypical of mad people and it destroys her scope for happiness and redemption that she actually more than deserves.
I’m boycotting this show till further notice, sorry maya lovers out there it’s the final straw for me, enjoy Arya. While it lasts its going to get too ugly for me too soon.
Saanjh lovers and Maya haters you have finally won the case, you can be happy that a abused child became an abuser, a victim the victimiser, that they decided to make her like the stereotype of bad people instead of giving her a chance to become better, to make this show truly different. You can be happy that this show decided to make her as bad as possible and completely destroy her just for your satisfaction I wish you all the best for the future I take part in these stupid comment wars no longer.
Sorry guys but this is goodbye, season 1 calls my name, and I’m not turning back until maya turns back to who she truly was, the one that we could all relate, love and respect, and who we wished for her happiness, realisation and fulfilment of her dreams that the world always stopped her from doing, forcing her to be who she was, this has taken it to a new level of stupidity, and I wish to have no say in it anymore.

Honestly speaking this maya is a blot in the name of a woman. What kind of a woman she is who got her brother in law arrested for a false case only to make arjun hers forever. I can understand she went in pain during her childhood and so now she needs a companion ( arjun ) in her whole life. Every one has the right to love someone but love does not means that u get the license to seperate ur lover from his family and harm them. Love means sacrifice, friendship not obsessive and force. At least Saanjh is a better woman than her. Even she also loved arjun but she was neither obsessive like maya nor she seperated arjun from his family. Hate this maya . She was , is and always be a cheap and disgusting woman forever.
I disagree, until now she was not cheap and disgusting, she was just forced by the world’s cruelty towards her, being cruel in order to get her rights and chance to be loved and accepted, if not when she tried to be good, then when she tried to be bad.
The problem is they’re showing that she thinks only bad can win(understandable) but that is destroying her good that made us respect her and empathise with her past.
If they destroy her anymore, only maya lovers who love Jennifer will remain, and the maya lovers who respect and love her for being passionate and strong, kind and loving despite her past and tortured but worthy of redemption, will now see this Blackened imitation and give up on her slowly, this twist was a big blow to the fan base showing that Maya really stooped so low, it’s illogical, impractical and does not fit with what maya is as a character, she is grey and they will have to find a way to bring that greyness back.
I never expected a Arya ending, but I still wish for a happy ending for Maya regardless, otherwise I agree with what you’ve said.

Arjun is totally binded by mayas love. He does not even know that it is all her plan to get him. Let maya and arjun enjoy and romance know. I am afraid that an important part is missing from todays update. At the end Maya also recalls how she had kicked Ayan with her foot so that he falls down then says in her mind that she can do anything to keep Arjun.

We cannot abuse such laws no-one is above them. I will never become a saanjh supporter she was in many ways responsible for a lot of Maya’s insecurities and resulted actions but maya also had goodness back then, whereas now I see nothing.

For this first time despite being a avid maya lover I fully support you, what the CVs have done has crossed the limits, i hold little respect for her character now, but moreso I hate what they’ve done to destroy that respect, they made her black, and unless they show her greyness again I am not returning for future episodes nor will I forgive the CVs for this, they took it too far, and should have made her pain genuine, but her bailing him again later as a ploy to win Arjun’s trust even more but keeping nuts hate for Ayan intact thus fulfilling both criteria’s of her being grey, doing this framing made her black, and I can no longer love her she is a pale imitation of the women they created and I hate it

As an child with a rough childhood myself I cannot help but weep for what they are doing to maya. Many of us have had that kind of darkness and so light is so difficult to come by. She should not be just another person who falls till she can fall no further, she should be an inspiration for those like her (including me), that you can love and be accepted/healed by society even if ill, tortured and deprived of love and a childhood. The CVs just think about the story, they should think about its impact on the audience; making such a person better will be truly different and will give a good light to such people watching, and maybe even give normal people a new perspective and concern to such people, e

You are correct, I will not lose hope and I know this is fiction, but fictional or not it is displayed to so many people worldwide. Regardless they should not be insensitive especially to those who may be watching and have suffered somewhat as Maya has shown to have done. Some people may even have lost hope. The power of media and Tv is so great CVs could make a change in mindsets if they wanted to, as their thoughts are projected so vividly to so many. To create this healthy mindset of acceptance and care towards people shown like maya in a happier ending will be beneficial more than a campaign for change, as so many people watch Tv these days a large portion of monetray/otherwise able people will see such a thing and be inspired, moved or even have new respect/a desire to find and alleviate such people of their pain. Showing darkness will only beget darkness and dislike, and it may influence people even more negatively in regards to their views, the boundaries between reel and real blur all to often.
You are correct though I have not lost hope, but I wish that this is an opportunity especially for the sake of many current narrow-minded indians to give others hope in turn, not take it away from them.

You are correct. Society equally determines a person, no person lives truly isolated.
If she had been accepted by VM, none of this MAY have happened. I say ‘may’ so people understand that it is not definite as we don’t know the extent of Maya’s insecurities and mental condition, but as we saw so many times how she genuinely tried to better herself, I can confidant,y say it would have made a big change, family love and support is important in building the road to betterment, it cannot be done alone. True if we suffered nearly as much as her we would be borderline insane too! The fact that she has sanity left is commendable, but they’re showing it to slip away rapidly now which is incredibly sad to see.
To conclude, maya is responsible for her actions, but she could have been helped and the problem significantly nullified if others had not been prejudiced/hating her without sufficient premise, especially when she wanted to change for the better and fulfil her dream of a happy family, that right was taken from her, so I’m not surprised insecurity arose and faith in goodness would be all but lost.
Her actions are her own, but the severity of her insecurity and consequential actions could have been stopped if society had accepted her, so society is largely but not wholly responsible for her current state.
I’m hearing of an successful pregnancy now, I hope the baby if born becomes the medium for Maya’s betterment or the glue for Arya that helps her improve and their relation as well.
Lets hope for the best for our beloved maya. Despite all this I still love her, I just wish the Maya I actually love returns, not this maya that I currently cannot love.
Thanks for your comment my friend, I too used to beat myself up and almost receive relief/pleasure from it, that was the extent of my problem, but now I don’t feel anything of the sort after the right treatment and familial support at the right time. If we were almost like maya and we had a family and love, we cannot imagine how bad maya and her thoughts must be, we cannot help but empathise with her even now because of that.
Maya does deserve another chance, and I’m hoping in the near future her road to redemption begins, and eventually her love does win in the end.

I never hated saanjh ever, I just felt she more than her share came in between Arya and I disliked it.
However what the CVS have done to maya is unforgivable, and no-one can counter that I’m afraid, she deserves what is coming despite my extreme love for her, as I love MAYA, this women is not that maya I loved, she is something else entirely and I cannot see the real Maya anywhere, only when she returns can I support her else it is becoming extremely difficult, especially the stupid always in which they are trying to show obsession by even making the most unbelievable and obscure events that should be genuine to show some of her goodness that makes her grey too, not this stupidity that everything is her plan, as if she is god and can predict everything.

I loved that so much and wish it could have stayed, but alas they seem to think that making maya grey is only done by making her white for some time and then making her black for the remaining serial, which is rubbish.
She was always shown in her greyness so well in the first season, yet now she is black and ruined, and it is painful to watch this show now “sigh”

She staged the whole thing. Samaya probably text maya about arjun in vandan house, leading to the ambulance scene. He probably call maya about ayan coming , giving her enough time to plan the whole rape.
The rest of the bruises were probably done by samaya who was probably told to do so by maya. Her character is extremely grey to the point that she can even kill.
Maya knows rape is a touchy subject and it can go in womens favour in some countries. So she uses it, against ayan.
In the other hand samaya is such a two face. Pretending to help saanj , but in reality his doing it for maya.

Arya scene was nice, but I would have enjoyed it if Maya was genuinely hurt and Arjun was genuinely healing her pain through love that would have been magical. However we learned this isn’t the case and that destroyed the moment, as we know the future will be even darker and Arya scenes will be practically nil, especially as Arjun will hate her even more. The only good Arya scenes are genuine love scenes, otherwise I’m not privy to such things. I love maya, her looks, her charisma etc. but she is losing that rapidly what in season 1 she excelled at so beautifully, they need to return that character as more than anything she had lighter shades as well, and that’s the only Maya I can relate and love.
I will still hope for Maya’s happiness and best Arya, though a bit wistful what’s life without dreaming a little? ?

What was the point of spending 6 months + developing a character that is passionate, loving but dark, but that also has shades of selflessness and good?
Why not be consistently selfish/scheming etc? If they went straight into this after marriage I would have accepted what Maya haters and the like say about maya full heartedly.
However the whiteness of her character in murder saga cannot be overlooked, why show her goodness and genuine love of only to bring her down this far?
I want to see either her phase 1 khudoos/loving genuine bahu avatar or the strong independent woman but who is vulnerable and has regret/emotions of empathy and humanity as well, this current maya truthfully is unrecognisable. This rape track was a perfect opportunity to show her greyness as well as Ayan’s, by making it real but her plotting to gain Arjun’s sympathy and closeness further through her kindness to Ayan even after, and it showing that Ayan is maybe is more layered and those prior incidents with him and girls may not be so innocent. Instead they are pining after these shenanigans which are too GENERIC. showing everyone has light and dark shades makes it more unique and even, and this was a good chance to carry it further but it seems they want to make Maya bad now and make everyone else good in a good VS evil battle which is plain typical and incredibly stupid, especially in the way it disgraces maya and the effort they put into the complexity of her character and her relation/reactions to others.
whats worse, rape is not a light connotation, it cannot be shamed through deliberate false allegations destroys the character’s greyness and integrity and is completely insensitive i completely agree!

The right message and understanding their show’s impact on the audience psyche is more important than TRPs you are most correct. Positivity and negativity should mix, not perpetual darkness/negativity it gets heavy and difficult to watch/respect the characters.
When Maya claimed that she was subjected to an attempted rape on that very day i did say that/believed that “there’s more than meets the eye” , my reasons for believing that were janhvis facial expressions there was no sorrow on her face whatsoever despite her daughter being an attempt to rape victim ,which made me think there’s more to this story than Maya’s portraying it , but apparently after Maya alleging the attempt to rape her acting , fb , her fear made me believe that she was genuinely a victim but alas my suspicions got overlooked by Jenny/Maya’s superb acting skills !!!

I think deep down when people find out that someone is “different” or struggles with a mental disorder, their immediate reaction is to shun or leave them alone, n that is not the right way to deal with a different person , they can b changed by love support treatment n Maya has not got any of that till date . People find that walking away /shunning them is the easiest way out but it ain’t !!! I can say that of my personal experience.

This show has crossed all limits by allowing someone who FALSELY ACCUSES another of rape to get away with it. As an Indian soap opera, the show has a social responsibility to at least show that good wins over evil and the law supports the TRUTH! Especially in a country like India where rape is common and victims hesitate to seek justice…..
Maya plays a negative character, I get that and could even rationalise that her behaviour and extreme possessiveness was down to her abusive childhood. But to frame rape, you have stooped so low and entered into the cheapest, lowest territory. Ask real victims and then you may grasp even 1% of where you have gone wrong.
You will lose viewers as you have insulted them and their intelligence. In this incidence JUSTICE AND TRUTH should have won.
Agreed they did very wrong by making her do a false allegation. Either they shouldn’t have done it or it be genuine to expose Ayan’s greyness and retain Maya’s greyness, whereas what they’ve shown is immoral and a divide between pure Mahans and evil maya which was never true, they always all had grey shades, but needed exposing at different times, they are doing injustice to the fans, the justice system and the concept of s*xual assault itself, not to mention the damage it has done to women respect and especially respect for maya who was before grey but is now Black, which is horrifying and a complete letdown IMO, she should have stayed grey or never done this track.
The CVs will have to redeem themselves somehow, but I don’t see it happening soon, they made a hullabaloo of something so serious they should be ashamed.
I wish they didn’t do this to beloved maya, it removes her scope for redemption/a positive message even more and I don’t know what they were thinking, Season 1 had less nonsensical writing, more romance and manipulations but less severity and dangerous concepts that were handled much more smoothly. Besides Maya’s character was so much more powerful, interesting and GREY before, whereas now she is unrecognisable and difficult to love/respect unlike before where a majority supported her, that will soon change and it will downgrade the show I foresee it. They better somehow rectify this mistake otherwise there will be consequences.

Whilst she was in the hospital with Arjun, and when he touched her, she flinched reminiscing how Ayan had misbehaved with her. And today, she’s smirking victoriously at her win against Saanjh.
Love is no game yaar! Nothing can justify her actions today, not even the past. I quit this show. I can’t. I just can’t. I watched it always in the hope that they’ll show the transition in her character- from a cold, rude, ruthless businesswoman to a warm, nice, loving wife. But the CVs are doing it in a wrong way. The lines between love and obsession were already blurred but now, they’re showing her as a paranoid b*t*h. I hate to say this, but its true.
Jenny’s acting has been flawless and the only driving force for this show and I really appreciate it. But I cannot continue watching a show which spreads negative vibes, which continues withstanding the stigma that abused and mentally-sick people cannot have a bright future and their share of happiness. That they’ll always end up in hospitals or commit suicide. That they’ll always face backlash from people.
Until, they show that Maya’s past was also an illusion .. that Ashwin was a good man who had never hurt her .. that she is not mentally sick .. it’s unacceptable. We can tag Maya as a b*t*h then, officially. But by showing all this shit, you’re only hurting the sentiments and aggravating the sadness of the people.

Especially Maya❤️ Sometimes I find myself wishing that it was only her in the serial, no one else no other lead. Just a solo act..her screen time is much to less for me. Yesterday I was watching “Kya kasoor the amla ka” n it was so heartbreaking to see how a women has to go through all d trauma in such cases.. But here Maya baby has staged all this. It’s so annoying. Yes I want her end, but not Maya’s death, I want an end to her evil in the end, for the goodness that she had shown to be so beautiful and bright at one time to surface and destroy her darkness and insecurities. All these events are happening, all these battles because of her fears.
However, the only real battle is between Ashwin and The Child Maya. To show maya dying or irredeemable/forever alone is letting Ashwin win and that CANNOT be done, it just cannot. She has to face her demons head on and someone has to soon help her realise the pain she has given others in the name of love, make her step back and see her wrongs and start to redeem. The light in her always stayed when she had Ganesha with her, and now that she renounced his protection she is darkening. Before whenever she did wrong she had reason for, or at least reflected with regret in front of God. Now however without sufficient cause or regret she is committing such vile deeds, it is horrifying to see.
They have to bring back her Ganesha in whatever form it takes, only through her first true friend can she heal and start the right path to let her light shine and defeat the darkness of Ashwin within her, else Ashwin will win which is WRONG.
I hope she doesn’t stray any farther and Arjun through his actions tries to expose her wrongs. I used to want him to give her all the love in the world and wished for her happiness and a family but now I want her truth to get out, her to realise and then her to start on the right path to a better tomorrow. Honestly, let me tell you for the so called “Maya lovers” that you are a fan of “Jennifer” for her acting skills and that’s why you are liking the character played by her.
All the pity i once used to feel for maya vanished in this episode . Her being possessive, dominative, tricky to get her love was somehow understandable knowing her background and mental health but the fake rape accusation is in any way excusable. We always talk about gender equality, womens still fight so hard to get respect and the same place in society as mens but the type of women like maya betray them. They makes women liars, cheaters, and low in front of the others.
How many women are raped in india How many of them struggles to get justice they have to face themselves,people, their culprit, answers inappropriate question in the court, show their scars… how painful and traumatic can that be for any women? Maya just made every of these victim a loser and liar.
Not forgetting the one falsely accused most of the viewers are women so we don’t feel too concerned when it comes to male characters but mens have also self respect and pride being accuded of rape case is enough to completely destroy someone’s life which is not less than death.

They keep making me hate the tracks more and more, making Arjun hate maya was bad, but making them love now only to create even more hatred and blackness later on is a track I hate even more, it’s messed up what they are doing. I would prefer him hating maya all the way till past phase 3 rather than this, it maligns and blackens and devalues all Arya moments before as well by creating this dark maya without any light, its disgusting.
I hope the CVs see what response they are getting for such atrocity, they should never had created this brief love time to create hope only to blacken maya and destroy it further, that was a devastatingly bad blow to the fan-base and her character that they’ve taken so long to properly bring to life, she should have just been hated until the next phase or whatnot and be deluded but still grey and redeemable, that is more bearable than this, this is a joke.
Please CVs do not bring Maya’s character to such a low, there was no purpose in making her grey initially, or showing her goodness post-marriage if it was all just to do this, people get attached to and love shows, and Maya’s greyness/victory in love and Arya’s happiness are the primary motivator. Throwing in Arya scenes won’t satisfy people if there is such a dark premise behind it, it only makes our opinions all the worse that TRPs matter more than story and character consistency.
Lets hope for the best, Maya is nigh irredeemable but I want that vulnerable loving girl, passionate but emotional, manipulative but empathetic and sorrowful. I want THAT Maya to return again, that is who she really was and who I loved and empathised with, they cannot lose her forever that is inconsistent, depressing and absolutely stupid.

CVs please don’t make Maya so evil that there will be no scope for atonement, healing, redemption. This track could have been shown as Maya’s misunderstanding about Ayan. Loved the ArYa scene today even though the revelation about Maya was a shock. It was sizzling chemistry coupled with so much comfort level between the lead actors. The romance shown was breathtakingly beautiful and aesthetic.
