What was the best part of Bade Acche Lagte Hain?

Bade Acche Lagte Hai (30 May 2011 – 10th July 2014) is a show which garnered appreciation by its strong cast, good storyline, effective twists, and its sweet charm between the main leads Ram Kapoor and Priya. Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar became more famous with their roles in this show. They were loved and well accepted by the masses. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is a love story between two completely different and people, Ram Kapoor and Priya, who dislike each other initially but grow to love and respect each other immensely in due course of time. The couple, who is forced to tie the nuptial knot unwillingly for the sake of their family’s happiness, gradually becomes each others’ pillar of strength. Ram is a workaholic and belongs to an affluent family. Priya is a simple but strong willed righteous girl hailing from a middle class background who believes in following the values instilled in her by her parents.

Ram and Priya get married and slowly fall in love, they later on consummate their marriage by having mutual love between them. Some misunderstandings lead to Priya going away from Ram, and staying in Dubai for 5years, where she gives birth to Ram’s daughter Pihu. The show had the 5 year leap first followed by the 11 years leap where the love tracks of their children were shown. The little Pihu was very much loved by the viewers. Ram was shocked to see Priya and knowing about his daughter Pihu, whom Priya kept him unknown, he decided to take Pihu away from Priya, as he was very angry on her for keeping his daughter away. Their hatred track went on few days but Pihu brought her parents together again. When Pihu grows up, post 11 year leap, she dates Ashwin’s son and some troubles get created, leading him to commit suicide.

Then Priya meets with an accident (planned by Juhi) and goes in coma. The story takes a 7 year leap which had brought a vamp Juhi (after Ram’s mum in beginning) to become a barrier between Priya and Ram, Juhi took Ram’s household in her hands and managed his kids too. But with time and Priya’s comeback, she too lost to the couple. Pihu was in love with Sammy, but Priya was against it, as she knew Sammy loves Suhani. Then came the differences between mum and daughter, Ram was helpless supporting both. With Pihu blackmailing her parents that she will kill herself, they get her married to Sammy, but Suhani gets pregnant with his child.

Sammy got murdered and Suhani was behind it, and Priya proved Ram innocent in his murder charges. With a couple who stands by each other in tough times, such one has to be loved by all. The show had Ram and Priya’s marriage multiple times, and their real to life acting has made the show so popular. Will you guys miss this show?
