Scene 1
Lata is angrily making food. Roopa says dont worry, Ramnath says things, dont take tension, calm down, you should take out anger, throw things. Lata starts throwing veggies and things in kitchen. Dada hears things breaking in house, and says whole kitchen is vibrating.
Postman brings letter, Roopa takes it and says letter in this age? Lata says letter from whom? Lata reads it ‘my dear awasti, I miss you, I pray that my life might end but you will always be with me’, she gets angry. Roopa says dont think that its for Premnath(Ramnath’s correct name), Naren is young so he might have got this letter. Roopa have done a mistake giving this letter.
Lata shows letter to Naren, Naren says its not mine, I use messages, no girl calls me Awasti, they call me Naren.
Lata is sadly weeping. Laddo’s ghost and Roopa looks on. Lata recalls Premnath talking over phone. Laddo’s ghost says Roopa why did you give letter to her, you did this to mom, Roopa says I didnt give it, she took it, they argue over it.
At night, Lata looks in her box, she finds hair in it, flashback shows Premnath’s young age, when he cameback from office and took off shirt, Lata came there and found long hair on his shirt, she thought its not mine. Flashback ends. Lata looks at love letter and cries more. She sees show on TV, man says are you worried about husband cheating on you? my sacred thread can stop all that, buy it, Lata thinks about it.
Roopa brings out her pillows in lounge, she says working, Laddo’s ghost says you are not thinking about mother’s mood, think about her, Roopa says I am thinking while working. Laundry comes there with bill, Roopa takes it and asks him to leave. Roopa leaves. Laddo’s ghost says women work before helping others.
Lata shows that hair to Roopa, Roopa says you still have it, I dont think love letter is for Premnath, I dont think he can cheat on you, you should ask him. Lata says you are right, I will talk to him. Roopa takes her bill slip (mistakenly takes love letter) and leaves bill there.
Scene 2
Premnath comes home, Lata gives him clothes. She says I want to ask something, promise to not lie, he says I promise. She gives him love letter (doesnt see that its actually laundry bill), she says tell me if its for you? he says yes, its for me, she says arent you ashamed, he says there is nothing to hide. Lata says I should die, till when its been going on? he says from 8-10 years, thinking about you. Lata says are you not ashamed, I am disgusted, she leaves.
Lata says to Roopa that he accepted love letter is for him, Roopa says we have to correct him, if I had relation for 30 years then I wouldnt believe on some love letter, you make Premnath attracted to you, remember when you married him and he used to roam behind him, you have to make him forget everything. Lata says but in this age? Lata says just remember to get him back, Lata looks determined.
Lata comes to her room with hair open and wet. She thinks that he used to wake up with my wet hair when we married first, flashback shows Lata waking him with sprinkling water from wet hair, he said that I dream you wake me up like this for life, flashback ends. Lata sprinkles water from wet hair but Premnath keeps sleeping. She shakes her head rapidly. Laddo’s ghost passesby and sees her shaking head, he says what happened to her? Roopa comes there and sees Lata, she smiles and says she is trying to attract Premnath, she is waking him up sweetly, we shouldnt spy, they leave. Lata says he didnt wake up. she brings hot tea and puts his finger in it, he wakes up shouting. Lata says I used to wake you up like that when we were married first. Premnath says what to do with you.
Lata comes to Roopa that I cant do this attraction thing. Roopa says he wants your attention, we become so involved in house that husbands are neglected, give him time.
PRECAP- Nirmala is on streets, she asks for Awasti house, Lata says take train and go to Bhopal then you will reach.
Nirmala comes to Ramnath’s house. Ramnath is excited to her and says you? she says yes, they do hi-five. Lata is jealous to see it.
