BEHIND THE BARS -1- ALONE LIFE

Hello doodles, I am back to post another story named as BEHIND THE BARS. This story revolves around Saumya and her life after she gets arrested on the day of her marriage. ‘They say you meet people in your life who are positive as well as negative but always consider the positive ones, I met both at the same time. I was confused to choose as she helped me a lot but her life taught me lessons’ I am Lilly Raichaind, a lawyer… the story started two years back with my entry in her life and her entry in jail.

TWO YEARS BACK

“Ms. Lilly why are you stubborn to meet her everyday? You know she won’t speak up. Don’t disturb the policemen everyday like this.” Mr. Anand, the police inspector said the words to me.

“Everyone has their time to speak up, she will speak up too. Let me go inside and Yeah I will try for more some days and if she keeps mum still then I will never return again. Now let me go inside” I went inside after argument and saw a girl sitting silently bowing her head down over her knees.

“Saumya” I called softly decreasing the distance with each step.

Saumya was sleeping, she should sleep after everything she suffered the previous day. I was unaware of the previous day incidents as none told me about it at that time and the policemen knew the consequences of letting me know about it. I am the daughter of DIG Mumbai Police. I passed out LLB an year back and won two cases also out of which was a tough murder case. I am not boasting, I am just telling about my part of story.

“Saumya” I called aloud again. Saumya now opened her eyes and looked up.

“Why you always come to disturb me everyday?” Saumya asked looking away rubbing her eyes.

The eyes which were beautiful and fluffy once is now black. She is a dying soul now. There are few women who sometimes does not let her have food, well if dry chapatti with tasteless sabzi is considered as food. The previous day the same thing happened, which I got to know later. Three women snatched away her food and slapped her hard thrice. She silently went back to her cell without saying anything to anyone.

“I want to know your story Saumya, I want to fight for you” I said in an assuring tone.

“My story ended that day when I was awarded this place as my wedding gift” Saumya sarcastically said smiling through the corner of her lips with tears in her burning eyes.

“I know Saumya that maybe you have suffered much, for that reason only, to save you from more sufferings only I want to help you, please let me help you” I requested putting all my emotions in one sentence.

“Ms. Raichand please will you tell me that why you want to help me? How you came to know about me?” Saumya cross questioned me taking her glass up to drink water.

The glass was empty so she called the constable aloud who was keeping an eye on both of us “bhau thora paani milega?” she extended the glass but looking at that I took out the bottle from my bag and handed it to Saumya.

“No Ms. Raichand I cannot go against the rules of this police station. Here no outsider is allowed to even provide water to a criminal, you believe or not but unfortunately I am registered as a criminal here, I can’t accept this water also.” Saumya explained and returned back the bottle.

The constable came with a bottle and handed it to Saumya. “Saumya beta, please let Ms. Lilly help you” the constable requested as Saumya gulped down the water.

“Bhau, thank you for the water. Now please will you ask Ms. Raichand to leave me alone. I want to sleep, please” she requested folding her hands.

I went out but again turned back and murmured to myself “I will come back Saumya, I will make sure that you come out of the bars, I will make sure that you achieve every happiness of your life. I will make sure that I get my love angle back who indirectly has gained me my love” and I walked away slowly very slowly, turning back after every two steps.

Saumya sat back and stared at the dark cell she was in for so many months. Her eyes betrayed and her heart clenched as a painful sob left her mouth. I stood at the corner and was watching her from a distance.

“There is no light to my darkness Ms. Raichand and I hope that you understand that soon. I also dreamt of a nice family once but in search of a family I lost so many people. I now don’t want to go back to the cruel world, let me make this darkness my world. I just wish one thing, I just wish to see my Di atleast once. I don’t know in which cell she is in. Oberois have promised to destroy us and see we are destroyed, day before yesterday Mr. Tej Singh Oberoi came here and only now I know how a person change drastically to hide their deeds. Huh… I was so stupid to believe him months back.” Saumya said aloud her pain, I listened to every word and wiped away my tear while going out slowly.

“Did she open up Lilly puttar?” an old lady asked me as I went inside the car and sat beside the old lady.

“No Daadi…” I left a deep sigh after saying these two words.

“She is broken Lilly, and we have to bring her back before she breaks down completely with the tortures she is bearing now” Mrs. Kalyani Singh Oberoi said brushing off my hair while I kept my head over daadi’s lap closing my eyes.

“Daadi, why are you doing all these? You know the consequences right when all your family members would come to know about it?” I asked as daadi kept on brushing my hairs.

“Lilly puttar, we all did many mistakes. We repented for some and apologized for some but for the sins that we committed… what to those? I am just trying to state my apologies like this” Daadi explained and asked the driver to go to our next destination.

Lady constables should have took their place after I went away and Saumya should have drifted off to sleep.

That day I definitely went back even not knowing what will come next, I thank god for letting me know the truth, the dark raw truth.

HERE LILLY WILL BE DESCRIBING THE STORY. SO HERE I MEANS LILLY.

Hello Doodles, here I am back with a Rudra-Saumya story. I am not calling them RuMya purposely which you all will get to know gradually with each and every chapters. The main reason I started writing this story is because I was not getting my energy to write RE-LOVING THE KIDNAPPER DARK, so after completing this story I will start working on that story.
