Scene 1
Shiva enters Sidhi’s house. She is stunned to see him there with the band. Shiva touches Masterji’s feet. Masterji says this band was not needed. Shiva says you were worried about how you would welcome people from Pune so I brought the band for their grand welcome. He starts dancing with the band. Sidhi is watching it from her window and gets angry. She comes outside. Shiva welcomes Gaurav and greets him, he takes the aarti plate from Malini and is about to Gaurva’s tilak but Sidhi comes there and pushes Gaurav away. She throws away the aarti plate and mistakenly Shiva applies tilak on her forehead which basically means sindoor. Sidhi recalls the harassment incident. She pushes Shiva’s hand away. He is confused. Sidhi’s ring gets stuck in Shiva’s watch.
Gaurav’s father asks Masterji what was that? His mother says you called a goon and police to welcome us? We are respected people and this is how you welcome us? Gaurav tells her mother that’s fine, nobody would know this. His mother says this will be the gossip for everyone, how will we answer everyone?
Sidhi washes her face and tries to rub the sindoor that Shiva applied.
Masterji says sorry to Gaurav’s parents and says he is from this village but we have no connection with him, please end this matter here and move on. He tells Gaurav’s father Vishwash that it’s about our kids now so can we be more polite? I promise you that nothing will happen that will bring shame to you. He says we respect your promise Ishwar Masterji so be careful about our respect. Ishwar asks Gaurav’s mother Yogita to come for dinner. They all leave from there. Sidhi looks on. Gaurav sees her but she is gone before he can talk to her.
Sidhi gets a call from the inspector, he says I have to make a request. Can you come to the police station tomorrow and recognize the culprit who harrassed that girl? Sidhi says how can I come tomorrow? It’s my wedding and what happened today has created a problem for my family. He says I understand but if you don’t help us then that guy won’t get punished, we need your cooperation, I can send a car for you, it will be just a few minutes, I am requesting you as a brother. Sidhi recalls the incident and says I will be there tomorrow. She ends the call and turns to see Gaurav there. Gaurav says I am here so whom are you talking to? Sidhi says you are jealous? Gaurav says of course, you are pretty so.. he pins to her the wall and says I am scared to lose you. Sidhi says people were calling to congratulate me. Gaurav says I am the lucky one. Sidhi says congrats Gaurav. He says that’s boring.. he comes near her but she pushes him and says anyone can see. He pulls her closer and says let them see, I am with my would-be wife. He says I feel like you are going away from me. She says where will I go? She tries to leave but he pulls her closer and says you are not near me. Sidhi pulls him closer like she is about to kiss him but pulls on his ear. He cries in pain. Sidhi asks him to stop it. Gaurav hugs her and says I want to talk to you, we couldn’t talk much these last few days. Sidhi slips and they both fall down. Yogita comes there and says what are you doing Sidhi? Gaurav says she was showing me the house. Yogita says it’s not a big house. She tells Gaurav that we have to leave for the hotel. He nods and tells Sidhi that I will meet you tomorrow morning, we will sit and talk. Sidhi says but tomorrow.. my mother won’t allow me the leave the house. She says we will talk a lot when we get married. He smiles at her.
In the morning, Sidhi gets ready to go to the police station. She says how will I leave the house without anyone noticing? I have to be there at any cost. She says it’s a bad omen to leave the house with mehndi on my hands.. but I can’t leave this case unclosed. Sidhi starts leaving the house. Malini stops her and says you can’t leave the house, you have mehndi applied. Sidhi says I am just going in the garden. Malini says okay come inside fast. Sidhi nods and thinks it’s wrong to lie to her but I had to be with a bigger truth.
Sidhi comes to the police station. The inspector says I knew you would come to voice against crime. Sidhi says I don’t have much time. The inspector says I will protect you first, he gives her an abaya. Sidhi wears it and comes to a line of culprits. She looks at the men and shakes her head. She comes to Shiva and looks into his eyes. She recalls the incident and points at him. Shiva is stunned. Sidhi points at Shiva as a suspect of the crime. He is stunned and glares at her. The inspector tells Shiva that you won’t be spared now. He starts taking him away but Shiva looks at Sidhi whose face is covered. Sidhi looks on. She takes off her veil once Shiva is gone.
The sangeet ceremony is going, Sidhi comes into the garden. She smiles at Gaurav. Malini blesses Sidhi and prays for her. Sidhi’s friends ask Gaurav to come and dance with them. Sidhi smiles seeing the dance performances. The kids ask Ishwar to dance with them.
Bhavin comes to the police station with Shiva’s bail papers. He tells the inspector that it took some time but I can get your transfer papers early. The inspector looks on. Shiva gets released from the cell. Bhavin tells the inspector that he shouldn’t have touched Akka Bai’s guy.
At night time, Sidhi asks Ishwar if she can do some magic and take them to Pune with her? Ishwar says there is no magic other than God’s magic. Malini comes there and says you both are wasting time. Sidhi says sit with us and spend some time. She tells Malini that you can scold me as much as you want today, you will have no one to scold from tomorrow onwards. Malini says I won’t spare you so easily, I will come to Pune to scold you whenever I want to. Sidhi tells Malini that I want you to cook for me tomorrow before leaving the house. I want to eat food cooked by you only.
Shiva comes outside the police station. Jalwa says who has the guts to point fingers at you? Shiva recalls how a girl in the veil pointed a finger at him but that girl had mehndi in her hands. He recalls how Sidhi had the same mehndi. He says the culprit in front of my eyes.
Sidhi is in her room and looks outside the window. She sees a silhouette and goes to check in the garden. She asks who is it? A man comes behind her and puts a hand on her face.. he takes off his hood and it’s actually Gaurav. She smiles seeing him. She says you? She says what are you doing here? Gaurav hugs her and says I feel like this night is not ending fast enough. Sidhi says I will be in Pune with you tomorrow. Gaurav says you will be my wife tomorrow, it won’t be fun to hide and romance like this. He kisses her cheek. Sidhi says please.. tomorrow is the wedding, someone will see.. what is this childishness? Gaurav says I love you. He pulls her closer and is about to kiss her but Malini calls her so Sidhi tries to hide Gaurav, she asks him to go. He hides behind a curtain. Malini comes there and asks Sidhi to sleep, tomorrow is your wedding. Sidhi leaves from there. Gaurav sighs.
Sidhi comes to her room and recalls Gaurav’s words that tomorrow she will be his wife. Sidhi blushes.
Sidhi is trying to sleep but gets flashbacks of the incident with Shiva. She gets scared and wakes up. Malini comes there and asks what happened? Sidhi says everything will be fine? Malini says yes. Sidhi says I will sleep in your lap today. Malini says you are not a baby anymore. Sidhi says I want to be a baby tonight, you should sleep here tonight. Malini says I am here. She makes Sidhi lie down and lies with her. Sidhi smiles and goes to sleep.
A man in the hoodie enters Sidhi’s house. He comes in Sidhi’s room and sees her sleeping with her mother. He makes her smell a liquid which makes her unconscious, he lifts her and takes her from there.
