Riddhima who was tied to a chair wriggled and all of them laughed. One of those masked man moved towards the camera which recorded everything.

“Look you idiots….she thinks she will save the whooole India (laughs) now you all see how we will enjo…

The clip ended.

“Replay” Major Sharma said, and so it happened.

“Focus in the girl. I want to know how did she do that.” Major Sharma said, all sighed.

The clip was played again, but this time it was zoomed on Riddhima. Blood dripping from her forehead, marks of slap on her cheeks, but there was no pain in her eyes, no tears, no reactions to their hitting. It was just her determination, for her country.

Why would she loose such a chance to fulfill her dream?

As soon as the terrorist, turned to towards the camera, Riddhima slowly stretched her hand out towards various switches kept nearby and one hanging infront of her. She pulled the wires with much strength she had. But 2 of them were still left when the video went off.

“We would have been lucky to have her. She could be a deserving officer.” Major Sharma said.

She would have been so happy.

But she is more happy giving her life for her country.
His subconscious mind mocked him.

When the clip was zoomed to Riddhima, Vansh just ignored her. He couldn’t see her like that. He looked at the surroundings which were not like a forbidden room, but more like a parking lot.

It had various signal boards, some yellow lights, along with some trolleys kept behind.

It can be a mall. Vansh thought, while everyone was busy thinking about the girl and her bravery.

“Sir.” Vansh said breaking the talks.

“This place in the clip, is more lika parking lot. It also has trolleys and signal boards. It can be a mall.” He finished point at one of the board, half visible with written “all” the rest was not in the video.

“Point Vansh. You all should leave for Jammu right now. The next location will be told to all of you as soon as your training start. Have a good journey.” Major Sharma shajed hands with all of them, and they departed.

“So 4 in this car and 3 in that. Done?” Shrinath had finished adjusting everyone.

Vansh was in the car with lesser people, as he wanted it to be.

“You look tired Vansh. Why don’t you take a nap?” Shrinath asked Vansh.

Vansh chuckled making him confuse, he was even scared of sleeping.

“Don’t worry about me. I am good ” Vansh said with a small smile.

” If you don’t mind can I ask something?” Armaan asked while driving the car, Vansh nodded.

“Was Riddhima really pregnant?”

Shrinath slapped his forehead and sighed, he looked at Vansh who’s smile and already fell.

“I don’t know.” Vansh said trying to change the topic.

“Haaw liar!” Riddhima’s voice came into his ear.

Vansh looked at Riddhima and giggled, while she hitted him with all the cushions near her directly to the couch he was sitting on.

“Why did you say I am your girlfriend! I am your WIFE! Understand?” Riddhima said throwing everything on him while he giggled more. Nothing she threw was even reaching to him..

“Such a bad target you have.” Vansh said and threw a pillow directly on her face. Riddhima shrieked and fell down the bed while Vansh gasped.

“Carefully!” Vansh shouted, looking at his surroundings he found out he was in his car. Armaan stopped at his sudden shout.

“What happened? All good?” Shrinath asked who was nearly asleep.

“Woh…I …I saw some nails on the road… that’s why” Vansh said.

“Ohh. Thanks for telling. I will be careful.” Armaan said and started driving away.

Vansh felt like he was on intoxicated or has taken drugs on something. Why does he always… He shouldn’t be thinking about his problems while being on duty for the nation. Vansh consoled himself.

Shrinath stared at Vansh’s weirdly stren face as he nodded saying nothing.

“Are you fine?” Shrinath asked.

“Yes. I am” Armaan replied.

Shrinath sighed, this man had no common sense. He turned back to look at Vansh who nodded and looked out if the window. It was going to be a long journey. He opened the window expecting cold wind to touch his face, but as he opened it was just hot breeze blowing all around. He close the window being irritated.

Armaan decided to play up some songs and he did turning the radio on. Vansh sighed at the loud songs but he didn’t want to disturb him. He was the one driving the car right now. Vansh pulled out his phone and took his earphones.

But what will he watch?

He swiped the apps several times but didn’t found anything interesting. So he thought to ask Shrinath about it. He turned and inhaled a breathe to talk to him but found him asleep. His mouth was open and he snored loudly. Vansh sighed.

Don’t know what idea his mind picked up and he decided to open his gallery to clear some trash pictures. The last picture he took was 3 months ago, before he saw Riddhima alive the last time. He swiped more pictures, their marriage, reception, Kabir’s truth, and so much of their mini travels.

“Delete this one. I don’t look nice in it.”

Vansh looked at front, Riddhima was sitting Vansh looking at the phone.

“No you look cute in this picture” Vansh said and she frowned.

“Stop it!” Vansh who was standing watching these things happening shouted.

“Pleeease I will do anything.” Riddhima said looking at the picture Vansh had clicked on the beach while she teased him, sticking her tongue out and rolling her eyes.

“Anything?” Vansh asked with a smirk.

“I said stopp!” Vansh screamed.

He looked around, it was nearly evening and Shrinath was awake. He looked at Vansh and smiled.

“Armaan can I drive?” Vansh asked seeing him tired.

“Thanks yaarrr. I am tired.” Armaan said and stopped the car on the side.

“So idiot you should have told us before” Shrinath scolded him and he sticked out his tongue giggling.

“Don’t do that.” Vansh said and sat on the driving seat.

Maybe this won’t happen again as he will focus on just driving
