Battle Scars..- RiAnsh Chapter 23 ‘Its not marriage’

Hii everyone!!! Happy Diwaliiii! Sorry for not being active I was busy with my school and stuff. 

Vansh and Riddhima were standing on the terrace, slow breeze moved across both of them and Riddhima kept her head on his shoulder.

“I am really… really proud of you Vansh.” Riddhima said slowly. Vansh looked at her with a smile, and again back to towards the sun which was setting behind the clouds.

“And you know me more than myself.” Vansh stated on which Riddhima frowned.

“Why do you always underestimate yourself Vansh?” Riddhima asked him.

“Why shouldn’t I? I..I..am.. doing unfair. With you Riddhima. For my life I am clearly ruining your life.” Vansh said and kissed her cheeks. Riddhima smiled.

“You aren’t ruining my life Vansh. Why don’t you get it? You are fulfilling all my dreams. Army, and now R..you know.” Riddhima said cupping his face and he nodded kissing her hands.

” I will be going after this holidays.” Vansh sighed, “after our marriage”.

“I will be going Jammu. To train and for training.” Riddhima replied with a smile.

“I promise you Vansh… Our love will never stop you to serve our country. That’s first.” Riddhima said taking his hand in hers, and played with his engagement ring.

“How are you so sorted Riddhima? Because of me…” Vansh stopped when he saw Riddhima glaring at him, he chuckled.

Riddhima came forward for a hug but his phone rang, looking at the caller ID Vansh looked at her for a while. Riddhima smiled like it was nothing, and he went away picking up the call.

Riddhima sighed with a smile, and went back downstairs giving him his time. She saw Ishani sitting with Uma giving all her medicines one by one. Riddhima chuckled seeing Uma frowning to see the medicines and Ishani glaring her.

She went back to her room and opened the closet taking a frame from there. I was a family picture. Riddhima, Rishi, Rekha and Sunil. She caressed it as a tear fell on her parents’ picture. Taking the car, she had decided that today she will be part of them again, they will accept her back.

As soon as the door opened, it was only anger on Rekha’s face. She was goin to close the door but Riddhima kept her hand in between and it squished resulting Riddhima to wince loudly in reflex. Rekha immediately opened the door again, her hand was bleeding a little by the broked wooden chips on the door.

Riddhima smiled and winced as Rekha applied ointment on her hand.

“Ow Ma” Riddhima winced.

“Why are you here?” Rekha asked sternly.

“Mera kanyadaan karogi na Ma?” Riddhima asked as she noticed Rekha looking at the ring. (Will you handover me to my groom?)

Rekha applied the ointment with lot of pressure and Riddhima pulled her hand back.

“Get out” Rekha shouted.

“No. Today I will not go until you both listen to me properly. Please.” Riddhima pleaded joining her hand, Sunil also entered in the house.

His smile vanished as he saw Riddhima. He looked at the other side. Riddhima went to him and held his arms cupping his face.

“Please…just once.” Riddhima barely said.

“Just once.” Sunil said.

Riddhima made both of them sit on the couch and sat on her knees on the floor. Holding their hands, Riddhima looked at them.

“Kabir loves someone else. He married her Ma Papa.” Riddhima said.

“We know.” Sunil said angrily.

“How would you have felt if he would have kept me as his namesake wife and kept loving her? Meeting her?” Riddhima asked. Sunil sighed, and looked at Rekha.

“You would have filed a case right? Then we would have been having a divorce. I would have went back to Vansh. He would have gotten his bail and lived with her. It would have created a big fight. Right?” Riddhima said and both nodded.

“It happened…in a positive. What’s wrong then? Hmm?” Riddhima stopped as her neck was throbbing as she tried to stop herself from crying.

“Ma Papa. I love you. Sacchi. Please don’t send me back. Me and Vansh will be getting married. I want you to be there. Every moment. Won’t you do this for your daughter?” Riddhima said making a pout and both of them chuckled.

Rekha was in tears, she hugged her daughter with a smile while tears flowed from her eyes. Riddhima wiped her tears and hugged Sunil.

“Wah… everything without me? Not fair.” Rishi said standing at the door.

Riddhima chuckled and opened her hands in air for a hug and Rishi hugged her. Rishi picked her up in the hug and swirled around as Riddhima laughed.

“Stop it Bhai!” Riddhima giggled and Rishi put her down.

“Finally all together” All of them sighed, and giggled.

“Get all your stuff and come back. Your room is already ready for you.” Rekha said with a big smile. Riddhima looked at Sunil who blinked.

“I had already talked to them earlier”. Rishi whispered in her ears.

Riddhima looked at him with surprise, she was getting many good news on a single day.

“I will be back soon Ma.” Riddhima said and went back to her stuff.

She reached their jumping and looking for Vansh to tell him this awesome news.

“Ishani where is Vansh?” Riddhima asked her as she was sitting in the hall.

“Bhai has went to meet some friends. You look very happy…what happened? Tell me also.” Ishani said to Riddhima who smiled sadly knowing what it is.

“Ma Papa man gaye” Riddhima said cheerfully.

“What? Oh my god I am so happy for you Riddhima.” Uma said caressing her head as she was passing by there.

” Yes I am here to take my luggage. I will take all of my stuff and come here after Griha Pravesh.” Riddhima said and all giggled.

What stuff it was, just 2 suitcases and a handbag full of medical instruments.

So light she felt after coming back to her home. Opening the window of her room she stood gazing at the children in the park, hiding from each other making a gun with their fingers. They shoot by some movements and making sounds.

Riddhima smiled. It looked so perfect.
