Barrister Babu New Era Episode-7: Tapur falls into the trap of some villager’s.

The episode starts with Bondita and Anirudh dancing.   They are lost into each other.

All of a sudden, a voice rings in Anidita’s ears.   Someone says, “What’s going on here at this hour of night?  Haannnn????”

Anidita get away from each other.  They turn back to see Thakuma standing there.  Anidita get scared.   Thakuma angrily says, “What are you both doing here at this time??”

Bondita stammers and says, “Th.. Thh…. Thaa… Thakumaa….. No.. Nothing…”

Thakuma :  “Achha, nothing.. Then, why you both are here?”

Anirudh :  “Thakuma, we weren’t getting any sleep, sooooo….”

But before Anirudh could complete, Bondita pulls his hand and gives him a cold look.

Bondita :  “Aaaa… Thakuma, there were soo many mosquitoes in our room.  So, I came here to take this mosquito coil.”  And Bondita shows the mosquito coil (which is in her hand)  to Thakuma.

Thakuma :  “Ohhh.. You came here to take the mosquito coil!!”   Thakuma turns to Anirudh and says, “Jamai babu, then why did you come here???”

Anirudh makes an excuse and says, “Tha.. Thakuma…. Bondita wasn’t getting the coil;  so I came here to help her in finding it.”

Bondita :  “Yes yes Thakuma, Pati babu is right.”

After listening to the excuses of Anirudh and Bondita, Thakuma starts laughing.

Anidita shiver seeing Thakuma laughing.

Thakuma says, “You both are getting scared and sweating in such a way like you’ve committed some crime!!!  No need to make excuses, okay I won’t disturb you.  Arreyyy, you both are Ma-Baba now.   Who am I to come in between you two??”

Thakuma turns to leave, but Anirudh says, “Btw Thakuma, you didn’t sleep till now????”

Thakuma smilingly says, “There are so many mosquitoes in my room, so I came to take mosquito coil and saw you both here.  Give this mosquito coil to me.”   Thakuma takes the mosquito coil from Bondita and goes from there.

Now, our innocent Anidita are confused that whether Thakuma really came to take mosquito coil or she was making an excuse just like them.

Anidita go back to their room thinking about what Thakuma had told.  Anidita lay on the bed🛏  with their babies in the middle.

Anirudh says, “Good Night Bondita.  I love you.”

Bondita says, “Good Night Pati babu.  I love you too.”

Then Anidita go into a deep slumber.

In the morning :-

Trilochan is sitting with a Panditji.   Trilochan says, “Panditji, I’ve called you here to invite you on a very special occasion.  Actually, I wanted to keep a Naamkaran(Naming) ceremony of my grandchildren.  As Diwali is coming in a few days, so I thought to keep the ceremony on Diwali itself.  In this way, we can celebrate both the ceremonies together.”

Panditji smilingly says, “Yes Jamindaar babu, there is a very Shubh-mahurat(Auspicious-time)  on the day of Diwali.  You can keep Naamkaran ceremony of your grandchildren on that day.”

Trilochan says, “Panditji, on the behalf of Roy Choudhary family, I’m inviting you in the naming ceremony of my grandchildren.  Please do come.”   Panditji agrees and leaves.

Anirudh asks to Thakuma and Sumati, “Ma, Thakuma;  yesterday I forgot to ask you.  How was your Tirath(Pilgrimage)??”  Sumati says, “It was very good Jamai babu. Everything went really well.”

Thakuma says to Sumati, “Arreyyy Sumati bahu, where have you kept those gifts?” Trilochan gets confused and asks, “Whi.. Which gifts Kallindi ji??

Thakuma smirks at Trilochan and says, “Jyadi baat, Jyadi laat;  Tabhi samjhe Mard jaat. (More explanation, More kicks;  then only men understand.)  Who asked you Trilochan ji???  Are you a small kid that you’re interested in gifts?”

Trilochan says in a very low voice, “Yes, in front of an Old Sherni Thakuma like you, I’m a small kid only..”

But unfortunately, Thakuma’s cat-like ears are sharp enough to listen even a very low voice.  Thakuma says, “Dusron ki baaton mein Dakkhal dene waalon ke paas koi Akkal nahi hoti.  (People who interfere in between others, they don’t have any wisdom.)”

Trilochan makes a sad face and says, “Look, she again started.  Don’t know what she gets by talking in rhymes??”   Trilochan looks up to see angry Thakuma staring at him like a Hungry Lioness.    He realises that he said something bad about her.   He immediately changes his sentence.  With a fake smile on his face, Trilochan says, “Areyy Kallindi ji, I was saying that I really like your sweet conversation in rhymes.”

Thakuma says, “Sumati bahu, I had asked you where have you kept the gifts??”  Sumati replies, “Thakuma, I’ve kept them in our luggage.  Let me bring those.”  Sumati leaves and comes with a lot of gifts.

Anirudh says, “Thakuma, Ma; there was no need of these gifts.  Why you brought sooo many gifts??”

Thakuma :  “Like Uncle, Like Nephew.  Both of you like to interfere between others.”

Both Anirudh and Trilochan bite their tongues after realising their mistakes.  Everyone laughs at this.

Thakuma and Sumati give gifts to the Roy Choudharys.  Then Thakuma says, “Now, it’s turn for the special gifts of my beautiful  and angelic  great-grandchildren.”

Sumati shows two beautiful cradles and says, “So, these are two pretty cradles for the two prettiest babies of the universe!!”

Everyone gets surprised seeing those heavenly cradles.

Roy Choudharys thank Thakuma and Sumati for the gifts.

Thakuma says, “I’ve also brought two gold necklaces for my great-grandchildren with their names carved on it.  But I’ll give those on the Naamkaran day.”

Trilochan excitedly asks, “Means you’ve already thought of their names??   Btw, I have also thought of their names and I’ve brought two silver necklaces with their names carved on it.”

Thakuma :  “But my great-grandchildren will wear mine necklaces only.”

Trilochan :  “Not at all, they’re Roy Choudharys. They’ll wear mine necklaces.”

Thakuma and Trilochan start arguing.

Suddenly, some noises start coming from Binoy’s room.  Sampoorna opens the door of Binoy’s room but she gets injured as Binoy throws a wooden showpiece on her head.  Bondita takes Sampoorna away for doing her aid.

Binoy is shouting and throwing all the things here and there.  Anirudh goes to him and tries to calm him down.  Binoy calms down after seeing his son.  Anirudh makes Binoy to rest and sleep.

Trilochan gets emotional seeing his brother’s condition.  He says, “Will I ever get my brother who used to call me da??  Thakuma says to Trilochan, “I think I can treat and cure him with my Ayurvedic medicines.”

Trilochan says, “No use Kallindi ji.  All the doctors have given up.”

Thakuma :  “At least I can try Trilochan ji.”

Trilochan :  “I’ll be very grateful to you for this.”  Trilochan wipes his tears with his hands by removing his spectacles  and goes inside his room.

Outside Roy Choudhary Haveli :-

Some villagers are talking about Tapur.

Man 1 :  “Hey, did you all see the courage of that stained girl??  In spite of being unacceptable for the society, she was talking like a Sherni.”

Man 2 :  “All this has happened because of that Barrister babu and his Barristerni(Female barrister) wife.”

Man 3 :  “If this goes on like this, then that day isn’t far when the women of our families will roam around with any guy.  Do you want this to happen??”

Man 4 :  “No no nooo..  This can’t happen. This should never happen.  We’ll have to prevent this.”

Man 3 :  “So, for that, we’ll have to do something of that shameless Tapur.”

Man 1 :  “But what we will do with her???”

Man 2 :  “The one who goes against the society, he/she has only one punishment – Death.  Yes brothers, we’ll kill that Kulakshani(Ominous).”

Man 3 :  “Perfect idea!  If we will kill that Tapur then no other girl or woman will dare to go against the society.”

Man 4 :  “Arey, but how can we kill her??  She stays in Roy Choudhary Haveli.  If Roy Choudharys come to know about this, then Trilochan Jamindaar babu will definitely banish us from Tulsipur.”

Man 2 (To Man 4)  :  “You’re really a fool..   You’re a kitten.  You should’ve been a woman, not a man.  Areyyy Foolish person, we’ll kidnap that girl and secretly throw her from the cliff.  No one will come to know about this.”

Man 4 :  “Oh ok, I got it.”

Man 1 :  “Toh Shubh-kaam mein deri kaisi? (Then why wait for auspicious work?)  Come on, let’s end her game today itself.”

Man 3 :  “Yes, we will show her exact place today.”

All of them are heading towards Roy Choudhary Haveli.

Meanwhile in Roy Choudhary Haveli :-

Tupur says to Thakuma, “Thakuma; Me and Tapur are going to market for buying new clothes for Diwali.”  Thakuma says, “Ok, go; but come soon. Take care.”   Tapur-Tupur nod and they leave.

Tapur and Tupur are on their way.  The men who’ve came to kill Tapur, they see her.

Man 3 :  “Look brothers, the bird herself came in her cage.”

Man 2 :  “What can be better than this??”

Man 1 :  “Be ready everyone!”

Tapur and Tupur come to a clothes shop. They are looking at the clothes and asking their price.  Tupur is talking with the shopkeeper, but meanwhile the villagers kidnap Tapur.  Tupur looks here and there to find Tapur missing.  She searches for Tapur.  Tupur shouts, “Tapurrrrr.. Tapuurrrrrrrrr…. Where are you my sister??”

The episode ends.

Precap:-Some villagers push Tapur off a cliff. Tapur is hanging from the cliff. There is a huge valley below the cliff.  Tapur is shouting for help.  Anirudh, Trilochan, Thakuma and Tupur are searching for Tapur.
