Barrister Babu New Era Episode-3: Bondita reconcile with her Sisters.

The episode starts with Bondita heading towards her room with a cup of coffee in her hand.  Anirudh is inside the room. Bondita comes to the door of the room. She looks at Anirudh who is playing with their kids.  She smiles.  She comes to him and says, “Pati babu, it’s your co… kapi.  Take your kapi.”   Anirudh takes the cup of coffee from her hands and says, “Thank you Bondita.”

In the hall, Trilochan is enjoying the tea made by his Bondita bahu.  Suddenly, a shadow appears at the door of Roy Choudhary Haveli.  Someone enters inside the Haveli.  Trilochan gets up leaving his tea on the table.  He gets shocked by seeing the person.  He says, “You? Why have you came here??  To snatch our family’s happiness?  I know that you don’t like to see our family happy. You or your sister must have done some drama again. I don’t want to see you in our Haveli.  I won’t let you snatch our family’s happiness. See, happiness has returned in our family after so many months. Please don’t try to snatch it from us again. Go away from here…”

Before the person could say anything, Bondita comes there and gets surprised to see that person.  Bondita says, “Tupur?? You here???  What happened Tupur?  Is everything alright?  Where’s Tapur??  Didn’t she came with you?”  While talking Bondita goes near Tupur.

When Bondita comes near Tupur, Tupur turns her face away. Tupur says with joined hands, “Trilochan Zamindaar babu, I haven’t came here to snatch your family’s happiness. I only want to talk with Anirudh Jamai babu. Please call Jamai babu here. It’s very urgent.”  Trilochan shouts, “Neverrr…. I’ll never let you meet Anirudh. You must have made some evil plan with your sister.  Don’t you understand??  I told you to go from here.”

Bondita pleads to Trilochan, “Kakasasurji, she is my sister. Please don’t send her. She must be having some important work, that’s why she has came here.”   But Trilochan doesn’t listen to Bondita.  Then Bondita runs to Anirudh. She tells to Anirudh that Tupur has came for some urgent work and Trilochan is sending her away. Anirudh comes out in a hurry.

Tupur is about to go when Anirudh says, “Stop Tupur. Please don’t go without completing your work. Please tell me how can I help you?”  Trilochan says, “Anirudh, don’t get trapped in her words. She is lying to you. She has lied with all of us. She and that Tapur had hidden a big truth from us.” Trilochan narrates the entire incident of Somnath & Tapur’s engagement to Anirudh.  Then Anirudh says, “Kaka, I had also hidden Tapur’s truth from you. So, will you throw me also out of Roy Choudhary Haveli??  Tell me kaka.  I had also hidden a big truth from all of you. So I should also get punishment, right?  I’m leaving this Roy Choudhary Haveli with Tupur.”  Anirudh is about to go when Trilochan stops him.  Trilochan says, “Anirudh, you’re the soul of this family. Why will you go leaving all of us???   You, you won’t go anywhere. You’ll stay here only.”  Anirudh says, “If I won’t go, then Tupur also won’t go from here, Kaka.”  Trilochan taps his walking stick against the floor and goes from there in anger.

Bondita asks Tupur to come inside. Tupur ignores her.  Tupur tells to Anirudh, “Jamai babu, I want to talk to you in alone.”  She gives a cold look to Bondita and says, “I don’t want anyone else to listen our conversation. Because I don’t want anyone to do something wrong with Tapur.”  Anirudh gets scared and asks, “Tapur? Wha.. What happened to Tapur??”  Tupur tells Anirudh that she’ll answer him everything inside the room.  Anirudh and Tupur go inside a room. Tupur closes the door.  Bondita looks on.

Anirudh is still worried.  He asks, “Please tell me Tupur. What happened to Tapur??”  Tupur cries and says, “Jamai babu, Tapur’s truth came out in front of everyone only because of Bondita. She didn’t want my sister to become a Roy Choudhary bahu, that’s why she did such a big drama on Somnath and Tapur’s engagement day.  But what was Tapur’s fault in whatever happened with her?  You know Jamai babu, the entire society is cursing and badmouthing Tapur. All of them are taunting my innocent sister.  Wherever she goes, people start mocking her. She can’t even come out of the Haveli because of all this.  And my Tapur isn’t able to bear all this. And….”  She starts crying inconsolably and couldn’t speak further.  Anirudh tries to calm her down and says, “Please complete your statement Tupur.”  Tupur says, “Jamai babu, by getting annoyed with all the society’s abuses and taunts, Tapur is attempting suicide.  And from yesterday, she has locked herself in her room.  She isn’t opening the door Jamai babu, I’m very worried.”  Tupur breakdowns and in a very emotional tone she says, “Ja.. Jamai babu, if something happens to my sister na, then I won’t be able to live.”  Anirudh says, “Tupur, come with me.”  He goes to the Second Haveli of Roy Choudharys with Tupur.  Bondita asks Sampoorna to take care of the babies, she’ll come soon.  Sampoorna agrees.  Bondita follows Anirudh and Tupur.

Anirudh and Tupur reach the Haveli. Bondita is hiding behind them. They don’t see her. Anirudh asks Tupur, “Where is Tapur’s room?”  Tupur shows him the room.  Anirudh knocks on the door.  He shouts, “Tapurrrrr, open the door…  Please open the door Tapur…..”  Tupur stops him and says, “It’s of no use Jamai babu. I’m trying from yesterday itself.”  Anirudh sees an iron rod.  He takes the rod and breaks the door.

Although it’s morning time, but still the room is completely dark, because Tapur has covered all the windows and ventilations with curtains. There is not even a single ray of light in the room. And to make the scenario even more worse, there is lot of smoke in the room.  Anirudh and Tupur run inside the room.  They search for Tapur. Tapur is nowhere to be seen.  Anirudh and Tupur are coughing because of the smoke.  They call out to Tapur loudly.

Meanwhile, Bondita also goes inside Tapur’s room.  She is also searching for Tapur.  Bondita finds Tapur lying unconscious. Bondita is bringing Tapur out of the room.  Tupur gets astonished by seeing Bondita and exclaims, “Bondita is here??!!”   She tells Anirudh that Bondita is taking Tapur somewhere.

Bondita brings Tapur in a airy room where sunlight is abundant.  She makes Tapur lay on the bed.  She is trying to make Tapur conscious by sprinkling water on Tapur’s face from the jug lying on the table, when Anirudh and Tupur come there.  Tupur pulls Bondita with her left hand and angrily points her index finger of right hand towards Bondita and says, “Look Bondita, Tapur has already suffered a lot because of you. Now I won’t let her suffer anymore because of you.”   Anirudh says, “Tupur, you’re mistaken probably. How can Bondita do anything wrong with her own sister?”  Tupur shouts, “Sister???  She isn’t our sister Jamai babu.  She just wants us to remain very low in front of her and her high status.  She never considered us as her sisters. She is selfish Jamai babu. She can’t see the happiness of others.”    On hearing Tupur’s false accusations against Bondita, Anirudh angrily  shouts, “Tupurrrrrr!!!  What are you saying Tupur?  My Bondita can never let anything wrong happen with anyone.”  He turns to Bondita and asks her to say the entire truth.  He also adds that even he doesn’t know the complete truth.  He only knows the half truth said by Trilochan.

Then Bondita starts narrating the entire truth to Tupur and Anirudh. She tells them how Batuk had came in Anirudh’s disguise to snatch Bondita’s family from her. She also explains them how Batuk had changed Tapur’s letter to Somnath with a fake letter and created misunderstandings between the sisters. After that, she tells them Batuk had intentionally sent Trilochan in the storeroom so that he gets to know about Tapur’s truth and then Batuk instigated Tapur-Tupur to live away from Bondita.

After listening to the entire truth, Tupur feels very guilty and tears roll down her face.  She joins her hands in front of Bondita and regretfully says, “From which mouth should I ask you for forgiveness Bondita?  I have done very very wrong with you.  If possible then please please please forgive me Bondita.”  Tupur cries.   Bondita says, “No Tupur. You don’t need to apologise. Sisters don’t say sorry.”   Bondita hugs Tupur.  Anirudh smiles seeing the happy bonding of the sisters.

Bondita says, “But Tupur, the matter hasn’t ended yet. We have to save our younger sister from the accusations of this cruel society.”  Tupur says, “Yes Bondita, but how we will do this?  See what this society has done with Tapur.  Bondita, Tapur isn’t strong and fearless like you.”  Anirudh says, “Tupur, I’m sure that Tapur will also become very strong and brave just like my Barrister Babu Bondita.”  Bondita assures him saying, “Yes Pati babu, we’ll definitely get to see the strong and fierce avatar of Tapur.  I will ignite the fire of bravery inside her.”   Anirudh says, “I have full faith on you Bondita. I know you can do this. But, first we should take Tapur to our Haveli. I’ll call a doctor there.”

Anirudh is about to go, but Tupur stops him and says, “No Jamai babu, Trilochan Jamindaar babu won’t allow us in your Haveli.  Call the doctor here only.”   Anirudh says, “But why Tupur?  You…”   Bondita interrupts in the middle of his speech and says, “Let it be Pati babu. I don’t want my sisters to face any more allegations. You call the doctor here itself.”  Anirudh says, “Okay Bondita.”

Anirudh comes in the hall. He dials the no. in the telephone.  But the telephone isn’t working. He dials again, still it’s not working.   Anirudh goes out of the Haveli to find a doctor.

Suddenly, Anirudh comes across a clinic. He looks at the banner on the top.  It’s written “Dr. Somnath Roy Choudhary”.  Anirudh gets happy that finally he got a doctor.  He says, “I should call only Som for examining Tapur.  If I’ll call any other doctor, then maybe he will tell other people about Tapur’s truth and her condition, and then more people will start spreading this news. I don’t want the news of Tapur’s condition to spread anywhere.”  Anirudh goes to call Somnath.

One patient is coming outside. Anirudh goes inside. Somnath gets shocked seeing his Anirudh dada in the hospital.  He gets panicked and asks, “What happened dada? Are you fine???”  Anirudh says, “Yes, I’m fine Som. But a patient is in a very critical condition. Please come with me immediately.”  Somnath agrees and goes with Anirudh by taking his bag in hand.

Anirudh and Somnath reach the Haveli. Somnath asks, “Dada, why you came here? And why have you brought me here??  You know that those liar and deceiver sisters live here.”  Anirudh angrily shouts, “Somm!!!  Are you even aware of what you’re speaking??  They aren’t…..”  Anirudh closes his eyes and takes a deep breath so that his anger calms down.  He says, “Som, I’ll tell you the truth later. I don’t have time to tell you now.  Please examine the patient.”  Somnath asks, “But who is the patient dada?”  Anirudh goes upstairs. Somnath follows him.  Before opening the door of the room, Anirudh says, “Som, whoever be the patient, you have to follow a doctor’s duty. As a doctor, you shouldn’t see who is the patient, you should only examine and treat your patient.”  Somnath says, “Yes dada, I understood.”

Anirudh opens the door. Somnath sees Bondita and Tupur sitting beside unconscious Tapur.  Somnath turns back to go, but then he recalls Anirudh’s words about a doctor’s duty.  He again turns back and goes to examine Tapur.  After examining her, Somnath says, “She is alright. She’s unconscious because of the long time exposure to smoke. She will be conscious in some time. Nothing to worry about.”  He hands over some medicines to Bondita and asks her to give them to Tapur.  Bondita nods.  Somnath leaves from there.

Anirudh sees that Bondita is tensed.  He asks her if she is fine.  Bondita says, “Pati babu, I’m really very worried about our kids. I had asked Sampoorna ma to take care of them. But still, I’m very very tensed. I want to go Pati babu. But I can’t leave my sister alone here. What should I do now???”   Anirudh consoles her and says, “Bondita, let’s do one thing. Let’s take Tapur and Tupur along with us.   Now, there are no misunderstandings, so they can also live with us.”   Bondita says, “Yes Pati babu, but Kakasasurji…..”   Anirudh interrupts saying, “I’ll talk to Kaka. Don’t worry Bondita. Now let’s go fast. Come.”

Bondita, Anirudh, Tupur and Tapur enter in the original Roy Choudhary Haveli. Tapur is in a half-conscious state. Tupur and Bondita take her to a room. Bondita hurriedly runs from there and goes to Anidita’s room. She hugs her kids tightly and says, “I can’t live without you both even for a second, shotti. These few minutes without you two seemed like many ages.”  She cuddles the cute babies and kisses them.  Then her eyesight goes towards Sampoorna who was taking care of the kids in Bondita’s absence.  She thanks Sampoorna. Anirudh comes there.  He also takes the kids in his arms and kisses them.  Anidita go to Tapur and Tupur with babies in their arms.

When they reach there, Tapur is already conscious and she is crying.  Anidita ask her not to cry.

[Tapur recalls getting conscious. She suddenly gets up from the bed and asks Tupur, “Tupur Didi, where I am?  This place looks like Roy Choudhary Haveli. Who brought us here?? And why????”  Tupur tells all the truth to Tapur.  Tapur feels guilty and ashamed of her behaviour with Bondita.]  Flashback ends.

Tapur says, “Bondita didi, I behaved so badly with you. Will you please forgive me??  I promise that from now on, I’ll do whatever you say. Please please please please forgive me didi.”  Bondita tells her not to ask for forgiveness.  Bondita gives the baby boy to Tupur and she hugs Tapur. Bondita asks Tapur to take rest.  Tapur makes a sad face and says, “Bondita didi, now I’ve became a Masi and you didn’t show me my cute little nephew and niece.”   Anirudh says, “Here, take it Tapur. Your nephew and niece are very happy to meet their Masis.”  Anirudh hands over the baby girl to Tapur.

Both Tapur and Tupur sit close to each other with babies in their arms. They’re looking at the adorable babies and comparing them with their mum & dad. Tapur says, “Tupur didi, our niece is completely same like Bondita didi, isn’t she?”  Tupur says, “Yes Tapur, and our nephew is just like Anirudh Jamai babu.”  Tapur looks at the baby girl and says, “Her beautiful eyes are like Peahen. Her cute and most adorable smile is mesmerising. But her naughtiness can be clearly seen from her nose. She’s sooo naughty like our Bondita didi.”

Bondita  smiles seeing Tapur and Tupur happy.  She thinks, “How happy my sisters are!”  She looks upside with joined hands and says, “He Dugga Ma, please keep them happy like this forever.”

Tupur is about to describe their nephew’s handsomeness when Bihari says, “Chote Malik, dakiya(postman)  babu has came. Bade Malik has gone outside for some work, that’s why I’m calling you. Please come.”  Anirudh tells Bihari that he’s coming.

Anirudh asks Dakiya babu why he’s at Roy Choudhary Haveli as they haven’t sent any letter from many days. Postman says, “Barrister Babu, I’m very sorry for the inconvenience.  Your wife had sent some letters to Sumati ji, but someone was stopping the letters from reaching to Sumati ji. Even we don’t know who was that person. But now, we have sent all the letters. And I’ve came here to give you the replies of those letters. These are sent by Sumati ji and Kallindi ji.”  Postman hands over some letters to Anirudh. Anirudh thanks him. Postman leaves.

Anirudh is going inside. He thinks, “Who could be the person who wasn’t letting Bondita’s letters reach Sumati ma?”

Anirudh goes to his room. Bondita, Tapur and Tupur are already there playing with the twins. Anirudh tells to Bondita, “Bondita; Sumati ma and Thakuma have sent the replies of your letters. See these.”  He gives the letters to Bondita.  Bondita gets happy and excited.  She reads the letters.  She gets emotional.  Then, her eyes get filled with tears…   Anirudh asks her, “What happened Bondita?  Why are you crying??”  Bondita says, “Pati babu, these are tears of happiness!!  You know what? Ma and Thakuma are coming here to celebrate Diwali with us!!!”   Anirudh asks, “What? Really???”   Bondita says, “Yess Pati babu.”  She pinches her throat with the first two fingers of her right hand and says, “Shottttiiii…”  Anirudh and Bondita laugh softly.  Tupur and Tapur also get happy by hearing this news.

A man sees Tapur playing with Anidita’s babies through the window. He goes and tells all the villagers about that. Villagers enter in Roy Choudhary Haveli and say to Trilochan, “Jamindaar babu, how can you allow that impure girl to play with your grandchildren?”  Trilochan gets angry and shouts, “Who brought that stained and impure girl in our home???”
