The episode starts with Thakuma saying, “Tell me the truth Puchki and Kaalu. Have you got a cold??? Or is it something else?????”
Saudamini and Batuk get tensed.
Batuk : “Uhhhh ohhh Thakuma…..”
Thakuma interrupts Batuk by saying, “Wait waittt waiiittttttt…. First of all, tell me how do you know me?”
Saudamini stammers, “Tha… thaattt we…….” Thakuma cuts her short by saying, “Did I ask you?? I’m asking to Kaalu, so let him answer.” Saudamini bows her head.
Kaalu : “Arrey Thakuma, which is the person in the entire Bengal who doesn’t know you? Everyone in Bengal knows about you and your Chamatkaari(Magical) ayurvedic medicines which can cure any ailment. You’re such a great personality, suchhhhh a greattttt personality, succchhhhhhh a…….”
Thakuma interrupts, “Okay okay okay, I.. I understood. No need to build a bridge of false praises in front of me. Now tell me, what has happened to your voices???”
Puchki : “Thakuma, our voices are like this only since we’re born. When we were born, the doctor said that we’re having some problem in our throat. Our family members always taunt us for this, but what to do?”
Thakuma suspiciously asks, “You both are having problem in your throats??”
Kaalu : “Yes, yes, Thakuma. We both are having this problem. Our father also had this problem. And our grandfather, his father, his father, his father, his grandfather, his grandfather, his father, his grandfather, his father and……”
Thakuma : “Enough, enough, enough…. I understood that your entire Khaandaan(Family) has suffered from this ailment.”
Trilochan says to Kaalu and Puchki, “Arrey arreyyyy; stop it please…. I told you both to go away, don’t you understand or what??”
Saudamini lets out a fake cry and says, “Ohhh Jamindaar babu, please keep us at work na; we’ll do everything. We can also take care of your little grandchildren. We’re really very poor people. Plzzzzzzzzzzz keep us…”
Bondita : “Kakasasurji, please keep them at work. They look really poor, they need this work very badly. I plead you, please give them a chance.”
Trilochan : “Okk bahu, I’m keeping them only on your request. But, they shouldn’t do any mistake; or else I won’t think even twice before firing them.”
Kaalu : “Not at all Jamindaar babu. We won’t do any mistake. Not even in our dreams. Thank you thank you sooooo much for giving us this job.”
Puchki : “We’ll always be grateful to you for this job. And we’ll keep serving the Roy Choudharys for our entire life.”
Trilochan : “You can join after 2 days. You can leave now.”
Before anyone could say anything else, Trilochan says, “No more questions.” Saying this, Trilochan goes for some work of Jamindaari.
Batuk and Saudamini smirk at each other by thinking that Bondita’s life will become a hell after 2 days. They leave from Roy Choudhary Haveli.
But no one in the Roy Choudhary Haveli notices Mishti and Suchi who’re watching everything by peeping through the door of the Haveli. Mishti recalls following Saudamini and Batuk when they were running in disguise.
Mishti says to Suchi, “Ohhhhh…. So now, these people are ready to become servants of Roy Choudharys. I don’t know how Saudamini didi agreed for this work. She always wanted to live the life of a princess, then how can she agree for living the life of a poor girl??? Hmmmmmm…… Kuchh toh jaroor gadbad hai. Abhi inn dono ka bhanda phodti hun. (Hmmmmmm…… Something is really fishy. Let me expose these two people right now.) I’ll tell everything to Bondita.” (Till now, Bondita’s back was facing Mishti; so Mishti hasn’t seen Bondita’s face.) Suchi says, “Go Mishti didi, go. All the very best LLB Mishti Chakraborty didi.”
After everyone in the Roy Choudhary Haveli leaves for some work except Bondita, Mishti finds this as the right opportunity for telling Minituk’s truth to Bondita. Mishti slowly runs inside Roy Choudhary Haveli. (Bondita’s back is still facing Mishti.) As Mishti comes near Bondita, Bondita turns back and they both bump into each other. Bondita and Mishti fall down looking at the floor. Both scream together, “Aahhhhhhh…. Can’t you see? You made me fall na??” Mishti and Bondita get very scared as they think their voice is getting repeated. The actual fact is that their voices are identical, but they think that their voice is echoing, or someone is speaking in their voice!!! Bondita and Mishti look at each other. Their eyes get sooooo widened that it seems their eyes will come out of the eye-sockets anytime. A shiver runs down their spines. They freeze for a moment. They get goosebumps all over their bodies by seeing their clone in front of their eyes!! They start trembling and gritting their teeth out of fear. After mustering up a lot of courage and gulping; Mishti and Bondita scream together, “Aaaahhhhhhhhh…. Bhhh… Bhhhhh…… Bhooooootttttttttttt..!!!!!!” And then, Bondita runs inside Roy Choudhary Haveli while Mishti runs outside Roy Choudhary Haveli.
While running, Bondita collides with someone. Bondita screams and looks up to see that it’s Anirudh. Bondita hugs Anirudh very tightly. Bondita’s eyes are tight shut. Anirudh caresses Bondita’s head while asking, “What happened Bondita? Please calm down.” Bondita stammers, “Pati babu, pati babu, tha… thaaattttt……”
Anirudh : “Yes yes Bondita. Please tell.”
Bondita : “Pati babu, there’s a ghost in our Haveli.”
Anirudh : “Whaatttttt?? Bondita, are you alright? You know that ghosts don’t exist. Then, why are you speaking like this Bondita????”
Anirudh checks the temperature of Bondita’s forehead to know if she’s well or not. But, her temperature is normal. Bondita grumpily says, “Why don’t you understand Pati babu?? I’m saying na, there’s really a daayan in our Haveli. You know what? She was looking exactly same like me!!!! And, and, her voice was also exactly same like me!!! Don’t know why she has came here?? I don’t want anyone to harm any member of my family. Pati babu, please come with me na. She’s really there, shotttttiiiiii…” And Bondita pinches her throat with her first two fingers. When Bondita says like this, then Anirudh is left with no option other than following her order. So, Anirudh asks, “Where is the daayan Bondita?” Bondita points her finger in the direction where she had seen Mishti. Anirudh goes with Bondita at that place. Bondita is hiding behind Anirudh like a small kid. Anirudh searches everywhere, but no one is there at that place except Anirudh and Bondita; because Mishti has already ran away.
Anirudh : “Look Bondita, no one is here. There’s no daayan Bondita.”
Bondita : “But, she was here only Pati babu.”
Anirudh : “Bonditaa, I think you’re too much tired. You should take some rest. Come with me.”
Bondita unwillingly goes with Anirudh. She’s still shivering by thinking about that daayan.
On the other hand, Mishti collides with someone. She too screams and looks up to see that it’s Suchi. Mishti hugs Suchi and says, “Please please please save me Suchi. There’s a chudail in this Roy Choudhary Haveli. You know what? She is just identical to me!!! Also, she speaks exactly same like me!!!! Don’t know what she wants…. I’m really reallllyyyyy soo soooooo scared Suchi..”
Suchi also gets scared and says, “Mishti didi, I think we should go home now. What if that chudail comes here for killing us? I’ve heard that chudails can take any form. I fear if…….”
Mishti : “No noooo noooooooo…. Let’s run away Suchi. Come on, let’s run away.”
Suchi nods in yes.
Suchi and Mishti run away hurriedly for their life.
Meanwhile, Sampoorna is sitting on a chair. She’s singing a Bengali song “Ekla cholo re”…. Binoy sees her, but Sampoorna doesn’t notice Binoy. Sampoorna says to herself, “Music has always been my hobby, learning music has always remained my dream; but let it be, I know that my dream won’t come true.” Saying this, she again starts singing the song.
As soon as Sampoorna finishes her song, Binoy comes and hugs her from behind. Sampoorna gets startled. She says, “Youuu here??”
Binoy : “Yes, me here. Why? Do you have any problem??? And when I’m there with you, then why should you walk ekla(alone)? I’ll always be there to stand with you, to support you in everything…”
Sampoorna : “I didn’t mean that. Ummmmm…….”
Binoy : “Btw Sampoorna! Today, I’m here to give you a very good news!!”
Sampoorna : “Reaaaaallllllyyyyyyyyy???? What is it???”
Binoy : “I’ve got some work at Darjeeling. So, I’ll have to go there for some days. Mmmmmm… I was thinking to take you along with me. What do you say?”
Sampoorna : “Ohhhhh myyyy goddddd…. How can I go there?? I’ve lots of responsibilities here. Shashwati, Anirban, Anindita, Jethji, Anirudh, Bondita, Somnath, those orphan kids; how can I go leaving all of them?”
Binoy : “Yeah, I know that Sampoorna. But, can’t you do something for me only once. Please please please Sampoorna. Please come with me. It’s just a matter of few days. There are many people in our Haveli to take care of your responsibilities. You don’t need to worry about that.”
Sampoorna : “Butttttt……..”
Before Sampoorna could complete, Anirudh and Bondita come there.
Anirudh : “Yes Sampoorna ma, Baba is right. You should go to Darjeeling for a refreshment. You’re taking care of us from sooo many years, you should also spend some time on yourself.”
Bondita : “Sampoorna ma, don’t worry about us. I’m there na, I’ll take care of everyone; shotttttttiiiiiiii…. I won’t let Shashwati feel the void of her Ma even for a single second. I’ll take care of Som dada, Shashwati, and other kids like both mother and boudi. And don’t worry about Kakasasurji at all, his Bondita bahu can take care of him very well.”
Anirudh : “Please go na Sampoorna ma, Baba will feel good.”
Sampoorna : “Okay fine, I’ll go. But when do we have to go?”
Binoy : “Tomorrow.”
Sampoorna : “Whaaatttttt???? Soooooo early???”
Binoy : “Yess, it’s verryyy urgent.”
Sampoorna : “Ok, I’m going to pack our bags.”
Anirudh and Bondita smile. Binoy’s happiness has no limits. Binoy gets extremely overwhelmed!”
Suddenly, some men of the panchayat enter in Roy Choudhary Haveli. They greet to Trilochan by saying, “Namaste Jamindaar babu.”
Trilochan : “Arreyyy; come, come; please have a seat.”
When everyone gets seated, Trilochan says, “Tell me, what brings the panch here?”
Mukhiya ji : “Trilochan babu, as your grandson Anirban will be the next heir of Roy Choudhary family; so, as a token of our love and respect towards you, we’ve brought some gifts for him. Can you please bring him here??”
Trilochan : “Sure, sure Mukhiya ji. It would be our pleasure.”
Then, Trilochan asks Bondita to bring Anirban. Bondita brings her son, but she gets a bit confused that why her Kakasasurji didn’t ask to bring Anindita?
Trilochan shows Anirban to the people of panch. All the men shower Anirban with flower petals. They make Anirban wear sooo many flower-garlands. The little baby is getting irritated with all those flowers and garlands, but Trilochan is proudly smiling, Trilochan isn’t able to understand Anirban’s agony. He’s busy in admiring his grandson, or better his heir. Anirudh is standing in a corner and watching all this in front of his eyes. Anirudh gets angry as well as sad. But, he doesn’t say anything in front of Bondita; because he knows that his Bondita will be completely shattered after hearing all this.
After that, the panch-members make Anirban wear gold rings and silver necklaces. All those ornaments are having Anirban’s name carved on them.
Mukhiya ji : “Trilochan babu, these are some small gifts from the villagers of Tulsipur for the heir of Roy Choudharys.”
Trilochan thanks the panch-members.
Now; after wearing all the heavy gold and silver ornaments, Anirban gets so annoyed that he starts crying. Bondita rushes to Anirban and takes the delicate baby in her arms. Anirudh comes there and removes all the necklaces and rings which Anirban has worn. Bondita gently pats Anirban and she takes him away from all the chaos.
In Anirudh and Bondita’s room :-
Anirban has stopped crying. Bondita is making him sleep, while Anirudh is playing with the cute Anindita. All of a sudden, Kalyani enters in the room. Kalyani ties a holy thread of red colour on Anirban’s wrist. Bondita asks, “What’s this Kalyani didi??”
Kalyani : “It’s Durga Ma’s holy thread Bondita ji. Trilochan Malik told me to tie it on his heir’s wrist to save him from evil eyes.”
Bondita : “That’s nice didi, but you should also have tied such thread on my Anindita’s wrist. She’s also Roy Choudharys’ heir, right?”
Kalyani : “Ohhhhoooooo Bondita didi… You don’t understand anything. Only boys are heirs of their families, not girls. Btw, Trilochan Malik is calling me, so I’ve to go.”
Before Bondita could say something, Kalyani leaves.
Bondita stands still in utter confusion and shock. Anirudh has seen all this. So, to change Bondita’s mood; Anirudh takes out a simple red coloured thread and ties it on Anindita’s wrist. Although Anirudh doesn’t believe in holy threads and all; but still, he’s doing this for his Bondita. Anirudh happily says to Bondita, “Arrey Bondita! Look here, our daughter Anindita is also wearing a holy thread on her wrist. Now, evil eyes will stay 10, no 100, no no 100000, noooo nooooo noooooooo 1000000000000000000000 miles away from her.” Bondita chuckles at this. But Anirudh is still feeling angry at his Kaka’s behaviour.
It’s night –
In Samnoy’s room :-
The little fairy Shashwati is sleeping very peacefully.
Sampoorna is busy in packing all the essentials as tomorrow she has to go to Darjeeling with Binoy. She doesn’t even have time to take a deep breath. She’s continuously working from the morning. And now also her work hasn’t finished. Suddenly; to Sampoorna’s surprise, Binoy kisses on Sampoorna’s cheek. Sampoorna gets shy. Binoy lovingly puts his hands on Sampoorna’s shoulders and he says, “Sampoorna; actually, I wanted to tell you something.”
Sampoorna : “Please tell.”
Binoy : “Sampoorna, we aren’t going to Darjeeling only for my work.”
Sampoorna : “What??? What do you mean????”
Binoy : “I… I mean that since we hadn’t celebrated our honeymoon after our marriage; so I’m thinking to celebrate it now.”
Sampoorna : “Oooommmmmggggggg!!!!!! Are you in your senses😨???? Honeymoon??? And in this age????????”
Binoy : “Why? What’s wrong in that?? And, where it’s written that honeymoon can’t be celebrated in this age? Tell me. Arreyyy Sampoornaaaaa…. There’s no age for celebrating honeymoon. Trust me, you’ll really feel very nice in Darjeeling, we’ll have sooooooo muchhhh of fun!!” Then, Binoy starts making khayaali pulaav (building air castles) and says while looking above at the ceiling, “You will be there, I will be there; you and me; only you & me, and that romantic atmosphere of Darjeeling; waahhh, waaahhhhhh, waaaaahhhhhhhh…”
Sampoorna shakes Binoy. Binoy comes to reality. Binoy says, “And one more thing Sampoorna, I’ll also enrol you in a good music academy there. There are so many music academies in Darjeeling, so I’ll enrol you in the besstttt one. I know that music has always been your dream, your hobby, your everything. Your dream is going to come true Sampoorna!!! Yessssss….”
When Binoy doesn’t get any reply from Sampoorna, he looks here and there to find that Sampoorna had already left after hearing his romantic khayaali pulaav. Binoy keeps his hand on his forehead.
In Anirudh and Bondita’s room :-
It’s 12:15 am.
Anirudh and Bondita are sleeping peacefully. Suddenly, their sleep gets interrupted by the sound of a baby’s cry. Bondita is really very tired and exhausted after attending the court, the household chores, pampering her babies, taking care of the elders and everything…. So, Bondita gestures Anirudh to look at the baby who is crying. Anirudh sees in the cradles that Anindita is the one who is crying; while Anirban is sleeping peacefully, unaware of his surroundings. Anirudh quickly lifts Anindita in his arms and takes her on the terrace, because he doesn’t want to disturb Bondita.
Anirudh is asking Anindita not to cry. But Anindita isn’t listening. She’s crying and cryyinggggg… Anirudh says to Anindita, “You’re too naughty. Please calm down na baccha. Please don’t torture your Ma. I beg you please don’t cry.” When Anirudh pleads like this; then some magic happens out of nowhere and Anindita stops crying. Anirudh sighs in relief. But then, Anirudh feels something wet on his shirt; Anirudh looks down to see that Anindita has urinated on his shirt. And after doing this act, Anindita is laughing and giggling. Anirudh fakes an anger on his face and says, “Youuuuu naughtyyy child…. What did you do??? Well, it’s not your fault. It’s ok. I’ll change. But I’m happy that at least you stopped crying after this.”
Anirudh changes Anindita’s clothes. He again lays Anindita in her cradle and pats her to sleep. When Anindita sleeps, then Anirudh changes his clothes. He comes to Bondita and kisses on her forehead. Then he sleeps beside Bondita.
It’s early morning. The sun hasn’t arose yet. It’s still dark.
Sampoorna and Binoy come out with all their bags and suitcases. Bondita sees them and asks, “Arrey Sasurji, Sampoorna ma; where are you going at this time???”
Sampoorna : “Bondita, we’re leaving to Darjeeling before Shashwati wakes up. Because, we won’t be able to bid her goodbye. Please take care of her, please Bondita. I can’t take her with us, because it won’t be safe for her.”
Bondita : “You just don’t worry Sampoorna didi. I’ll take care of Shashwati more than my own children.”
Sampoorna gets teary eyes. Sampoorna hugs Bondita.
Binoy : “Bondita beta, please take care of yourself and everyone else.”
Bondita : “Sure Sasurji. You also take care of yourself and Sampoorna Ma.”
Binoy nods his head.
With tears flowing down from their eyes, Sampoorna and Binoy sit in a Motor-Gaadi and they leave for Darjeeling.
Binoy is driving the car. For some time, Sampoorna and Binoy remain quiet. But; after a while, Sampoorna starts singing a bengali song, “Sorboto mongolo radhe binodini rai….”
Binoy : “Wowwww Sampoorna!! I’m in love with your voice, you sing really nice and lovely!☺”
Sampoorna : “Awwww.. Thank you sooooo muchhhhhhh!!!!!”
After some time, Sampoorna rests her head on Binoy’s shoulder as she enjoys the outside scenario while Binoy is driving. Sayinyaara song plays…
Soon, Sampoorna and Binoy reach the beautiful city of Darjeeling. They step down the car and look at the enticing city!!! They’re left in awe!!!! Sampoorna starts clapping and jumping in joy like a small kid after looking at the scenario of Darjeeling. Binoy smiles by seeing the childish antics of Sampoorna.
