The episode starts with Anirudh thinking, “Kaka, now you’ve started doing gender discrimination between our own children? Why Kaka, whyyyy???”
After thinking for a while; Anirudh thinks, “I should tell this to Bondita. Mmmmm… But nooooo…. If I’ll tell her, then she’ll unnecessarily get too much worried and tensed.”
Trilochan : “See, how my grandson is happily playing with these toys..”
Bondita : “Yes Kakasasurji.”
Meanwhile, at Deenpur Jail :-
Arun is sleeping in the jail. The police officer hits Arun with a stick and shouts, “Heyyyy!! Wake up! You haven’t came here for sleeping….”
Arun : “Arrey Mama! Let me sleep na; yesterday, I hadn’t slept properly because of that idiot Judge Chacha..”
Officer : “Shut up you fool!! How dare you say such things to Judge Sahab????”
The police officer starts beating Arun with a wooden stick. Arun screams, “Aaaahhhhhh… Police Mama, jara aaram se maaro na, bahut dard ho raha hai.(Police Mama, please beat me gently. It’s hurting a lottttttt)……” But the police officer replies, “Come on, get up and grind this chakki(mill).”
Arun shockingly asks, “Whaaatttttt??? Chakki, and meeeeee???? Are you out of your senses? You’re also mad like that Judge Chacha, huhhhhhhh….”
Officer : “Shut your mouth, otherwise…..”
Arun : “What? What you’ll do otherwise, haan?? Tell me…”
Officer : “Now, you’ll have to perform all the cleanings of this jail. I don’t want to hear any single word now, got it??”
Arun shouts, “Bu…. Buttttttt Maaamaaaa….” Before Arun could complete, Police officer has left.
The jailer hands over a cloth, a broom, a mop, a scrubber and a bucket to Arun. Jailer says, “Mr. Arun Patnaik; now do the jhaadoo(brooming), pochha(floor-cleaning), and all the cleanings of this jail. After that, fill this bucket with water and clean all the utensils. Then, one hundred and fifteen sacks of grains are kept in the godown; you’ve to transfer all those sacks to the storeroom by carrying them on your shoulders. After that, you’ve to bring water from the well. Then, you’ve to grind the chakki. And, you’ll get food only after completing all these tasks. If you don’t complete any one of these tasks, then you won’t get food today and you’ll have to sleep in the cows’ shed full of mosquitoes; got it?? Don’t try to act oversmart, and start your work right now….”
Poor Arun’s face becomes pale. Arun says, “Arrey Jailer Jiju, why are you torturing your brother-in-law like this???? Please show some mercy on this innocent boy! If you……” Jailer interrupts Arun by saying, “No work, then no food and no sleep.” And the jailer leaves. Arun sighs in frustration.
In the mean time, at Chakraborty Haveli :-
Batuk and Saudamini are plotting about something.
Saudamini : “Arrey Bewakuuf(Stupid) Italistani Babu, if you’ll go there like this; then Bondita will recognise you in 2 mins!!”
Batuk : “Ohhhhooooo Saudamini didi, you don’t understand anything… I know that this will happen; and that’s why, I’ve came here with a great plan!”
Saudamini surprisingly asks, “What??? A plan???? Which plan Batuk??”
Batuk : “Kulfi.”
Saudamini : “Whaaaattttttt????? Are you in your senses??”
Batuk : “Yes didi, I’m completely in my senses.”
Saudamini : “Then why are you talking foolishly? First you said that we’ll go to Roy Choudhary Haveli in disguise, and now you’re thinking of Kulfi!!! Heyyyy Bhagwaaaannnn!! It seems like your separation from the Roy Choudharys has made a great impact on your mind! You’re……”
Batuk cuts Saudamini short by saying, “Didi, didi, didi; I… I didn’t mean that…. I meant if we’ll change our face and our voice; then who’ll be able to recognise us?? Kaun pehchaanega hume?”
Saudamini : “Ummmmm.. Koi nahi(No one); but how we’ll do that????”
Batuk : “Well, that’s quite simple. We’ll have to apply brown paint on our faces and some makeup to look like poor people. Then, we’ll have to eat kulfis and barf ke gole so that we get cold & our voice becomes choked; and no one will recognise our voice. That’s it…”
Saudamini shockingly says, “Whaaa…. whaaaaaaatttttt???? Whaaaaaaatttttttttt?????!!!!! Batuk, have you gone crazy?? How can we do this? I can harm others, but I can never harm myself.” Saudamini realises that she said something wrong in her pride. So, she immediately changes her statement by saying, “I… I meant that why we should trouble ourselves because of that Bondita??”
Batuk : “Didi, don’t you want to get rid of that blo*dy hell Bondita? Do you want to see her living happily with Big D??? No, right? So, you’ll have to do this. We don’t have any other way left. I’ve already talked with many maids and servants for doing this work, but no one agreed. They all are cowards, kaayar log.. They got afraid of Bondita and Big D. So, we’ll have to do it on our own. Come on didi, you like kulfis na? And you also love barf ke gole… Please eat these, before it’s too late…….”
Saudamini says, “Oh ok ok ok… I understood…..” Saudamini says in a low voice, “Uhhhhhhh…. this Batuk is really a psycho.. Now I’ll have to lose my mosssttttt beautiful, mossssttttttt melodious nightingale-like voice because of this madman!!! Ohhhhh goddddd, why did you send this stupid man on earth????”
Batuk : “For helping you.” Saudamini gets angry.
Batuk eats soooo many kulfis and ice-candies in one go. He eats the cherry, mango, rose, kesar(saffron), vanilla and coconut flavours of ice-creams. He also enjoys the different flavours of ice-candies. Saudamini stares at Batuk with widened eyes.
Saudamini : “Ohhhhh my goddddd Batukkkk!!!!!! You swallowed 65 kulfis and 77 barf ke gole in one go!!! Now also, you’re such a bhukkad.. You never changed.”
Batuk : “I can do anything to kill that blo*dy Bondita.”
After biting his lips for a moment, Batuk says, “Ahh… Saudamini didi, it’s your turn now. Eat these ice-creams and ice-candies. Come on, fast!!!!!”
With a very heavy heart, and tears filled in her eyes; Saudamini eats the ice-creams and ice-candies…. Saudamini cries a lottttttt…
Batuk happily says, “Very good! Now we can go to Roy Choudhary Haveli. Till tomorrow, we’ll catch cold. Then we’ll disguise and go to Roy Choudhary Haveli for destroying the devil Bondita!!” Batuk laughs like a fool, while Saudamini sobs.
It’s night :-
In Anirudh and Bondita’s room –
Bondita : “Pati babu, our babies are really very lucky for us! From the time they’ve came in this world, all good things are happening.”
Anirudh smiles and says, “Obviously Bondita! Is this something to be told??” Then, Anirudh’s sight goes on something which Bondita is holding. Anirudh curiously asks, “What’s this Bondita? What are you doing???”
Bondita : “It’s our family album Pati babu. I was reminiscing those sweet old memories.”
Anirudh : “Oh ok.”
Anirudh sits beside Bondita. They both look at the pictures in the album. They smile and laugh while recalling their beautiful moments. RTM plays… (Main tera dil tu pyaar mera hai….)
All of a sudden, Batuk’s picture appears in the album. Anirudh fumes with anger after seeing Batuk’s photo. Anirudh removes that photo from the album and tears it while gritting his teeth. Bondita calms Anirudh down by saying, “Pati babu, why this much anger? After all, he’s your younger br…..” Anirudh stops Bondita and says, “No Bondita. He doesn’t have any relation with Roy Choudhary family. Don’t take his name. I don’t know anyone with that name. I’ve only one brother.”
Bondita says, “But Pati babu…..” Before Bondita could complete, Anirudh walks away in anger.
It’s morning :-
Trilochan is drinking his adrak aur gud waali chai(ginger and molasses tea) while reading the newspaper. Anirudh and Bondita are sitting near him. Trilochan says, “Arey beta, these days the newspapers are filled with the news of vishwa yuddh⚔(world war). Don’t know when this will end.”
Bondita : “Yes Kakasasurji, so many people lost their lives, their families in this war; and many others are still losing. This should stop..”
Before anyone could say anything else, two people enter in Roy Choudhary Haveli; one man and one woman. They’re looking very poor, their clothes are rags, the woman’s face is brown and the man’s face is completely black. Those people are none other than Saudamini and Batuk who’ve came in disguise. All the Roy Choudharys get astonished to see those two people!!!
Trilochan : “Heyy! Who are you?? And how dare you enter in Jamindaar Roy Choudharys’ Haveli without my permission????”
Batuk and Saudamini together say in a choking voice, “Ohhhh…. Sorry sorrrryyyy sorrrrryyyyy… Please please forgive us Jamindaar babu…..” (Their voices are choked because of cold.)
Trilochan : “Okay, okay. But first tell me, who’re you both???”
Saudamini points at Batuk and says, “He’s my brother Kaalu. His face is also black and his heart is also completely black just like his name.”
Batuk angrily says, “And, she’s my sister Puchki. She’s short and she has a very small mindset just like her name.”
Anirudh : “But why have you came here?”
Kaalu : “Ufffffff Chote Jamindaar babu, don’t you understand?? Why will poor people come to Jamindaars? For getting work only na????”
Trilochan : “Neverrrrrrr…. We can never keep you both in our Haveli. You can go.”
Puchki : “But Jamindaar babu, please try to understand. We’re jobless and homeless. How we’ll live? How we’ll fill our stomachs?? Please keep us in Roy Choudhary Haveli as maid and servant. We will do all types of works.”
Trilochan : “We already have two servants at our Haveli. And they’re enough, we don’t need anymore.”
Suddenly; Thakuma arrives at the scene and says, “First of all, tell me why your voices are choked? Have you caught a cold?? Your voice seems like you both are suffering from cold since ages. Tell me the truth Puchki and Kaalu…”
Saudamini and Batuk get tensed.
