Barrister Babu 9th August 2021 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
The Episode starts with pandit saying Bondita has to leave now and bear her punishment. Sampoorna says Sumati was happy on your first bidaai, she had tears of happiness, see your Maayka family are crying blood tears. She makes Bondita wear the garlands and chunri. She says you came here as enemy, I shouldn’t pity an enemy, Lord shouldn’t give such a farewell to anyone. She does the tika. Bondita cries seeing Anirudh. The man says lay the stones in her welcome. Bondita walks on the stones. Anirudh sees her in the mirror. He recalls her words. He stops the jeep. He goes to her. Trilochan comes. Anirudh removes his shoes. He says I m punishing myself. Trilochan asks why. Anirudh says I also made a mistake. Kuch khafa hoon….plays.. He walks ahead. Bondita cries and follows. Everyone comes to their Tulsipur house.
Trilochan stops her at the door and says our house doors stays shut for our enemies, you can’t come in. He asks Bihari to take Bondita to outside ashram, Sanyasins will tell what to do next, till then keep her away. Bondita says I accept even this. Bihari thinks I welcomed her as bahurani, how shall I take her out regarding her an enemy. His wife says get out, there is no place for you here. Bihari scolds his wife. His wife says she is an enemy, she cheated this family. Anirudh hears them. Bihari apologizes to Bondita. He says I can’t help you today. He goes.
Sumati says Thakumaa, save my daughter from walking on the thorned path, stop her from going to Kashi, stop her from becoming Sanyasini, her life will be worse than a widow’s life. Thakumaa says what shall I do, she accepted it herself, what shall I do. Tupur thinks its good that she goes to Kashi, then I will get my husband’s love. Chandrachur says this won’t happen, I promise Bondita will rest in your lap tomorrow and sleep. Thakumaa says we are lucky to get such a son-in-law. Bondita says I heard the path of love is of thorns, I have seen it, but Anirudh chose to walk along, when our paths have changed, its also Anirudh’s decision, but whoever comes in the path of my love, I accept it. She sees Anirudh and thinks of their moments. He thinks of her. She lies to sleep. She hears someone’s footsteps. She says who has come at this time. The door opens. Bondita sees Bihari and says you here. Bihari asks her to go from here. He says you go very far from here, no one will know about it. She says I m giving my rights to die to you, you listen to me now, you want me to not become Sanyasini, you have to accept that Bondita isn’t wrong, I can’t run away, you have to say that you trust me, I m your friend, not an enemy or spy. He says lie, its a lie, I won’t say a lie, trust is broken, truth is hidden, cheating is done, culprit is…. She asks who is the culprit. She asks Bihari to go. She says you may have heard the decision, we have to see what gift Anirudh gives to his Bondita. She closes the door.
Its morning, Bihari’s wife splashes water on Bondita’s face and wakes her up. She says these Sanyasins have come from Kashi, come for the ritual, stop, you have to leave the slippers from now. Bondita says I accept.
She comes and sits in the puja. Pandit says its a tough thing, you have to sacrifice the colours in the first ritual. Anirudh recalls teaching colours to Vaijanti. She says there are many colours for me, all are different, you know love colour is also different. He asks what are you saying. She says pink isn’t pink. He says stop it now. She says I love colours a lot. Pandit asks do you accept to leave the colours. Bondita says yes. He says you have to leave the taste, and have just plain food. Anirudh recalls her words.
Bihari says she can’t tolerate hunger, she can’t live without Rasgullas. She says I accept. He says you have to leave the family, you can’t meet anyone. Bihari asks why did you educate her and send her to London, you have turned her future dark. She says I accept. Pandit says one more ritual. Trilochan says wait, we will do it later, we will finish these rituals today. Anirudh sees the Sanyasin’s hand burning. Trilochan sends Somnath. Anirudh asks Somnath to get water, she is a Sanyasini, she won’t say anything. Anirudh says her hand burnt in front of me, she didn’t say anything. Somnath says Kaka is calling, come.
Anirudh puts his hand near the flame and feels the burn. Somnath says Anirudh was asking why didn’t Sanyasini say anything. Trilochan says Anirudh shouldn’t know the last ritual, what will happen with Bondita, this matter should be just between us. Pandit says Bondita has to just wear this colour clothes from today, swear she will live a colourless life from today. Bondita cries. Anirudh thinks refuse Bondita. She says I have a condition, I want Sakha babu to give this colourless saree to me, he made me a barrister, I wanted to wear it from his hands, maybe its not written in my fate, I will wear this colourless saree. She asks Anirudh to complete the ritual.
Precap: Anirudh asks Bondita why you’re always so stubborn. She says, you love me, but you are not able to say it. Say it today that you love Bondita. He says, I don’t. She says, you do. They argue and in end, he shouts, yes, I love. She gets happy. She says, today you told me, but tomorrow, you will have to say this in front of everyone. Other side, Trilochan says Anirudh shouldn’t find that last ritual is putting burning coal on Bondita’s tongue. Her voice will be taken away for forever.

@Lopa, yeah sis, me too in my previous comment said that ksj have some soft corner for bondita, but this episode completely falsified it. His heart has really became irony think so, though anirudh is not expressing, we could see that he really cares for bondi but when it comes to ksj he is really too harsh in today’s episode. I didn’t like today’s kaka, want the old one, hope he discovers the truth soon

He don’t have proof now to prove her innocence and he is responsible for whole village and ksj has warned him not to fall for emotions. Might be due to that he is acting quite irony. He walked on stones because he couldn’t bear to see Bon in pain. He can’t stop her from doing that. That’s why accompanied her in her pain and obviously he can’t say why he was going to do that so he gave an excuse to calm down others or maybe he couldn’t understand his own intentions behind doing that so he lied

1 thing i would like to add.. that why is bondita acting like a very normal girl who doesnt speak for her.. she wasnt like this before.. @Rusha and @Hope I agree that Bon shouldn’t have accepted the blames and punishment (because she didn’t do anything wrong) but only the fact that she pretended as Vaijayanti and sent those things to Ani before the competition but didn’t add anything to those things. She should have thought little bit by brain but it’s not that only she’s destroying herself for a man. Ani, too, did that for her when she was a child. He crossed every limit, went against all odds and even staked his life to save her life, educate her, fulfill her dreams, etc. Whatever Bon’s today, is because of him only whether she’s alive or educated.

I agree with you @Hope. Though i thought Bondita’s acceptance of being a spy was out of sheer rage and the break of trust, she could have refused to accept the punishment. But at the same time sampoorna has no right to teacher her ethics or even question her actions. She almost got her murdered and also indirectly is a reason to get thakumaa in their lives.
@ Varsha, though Sansyasi life was portrayed as pure devotion to the god and also they were supposedly highly respected, the sad reality is that the nobles and even the priest class used them for pleasure. The same thing happened with the widows in the widow ashram. A women accepting sanyas were hailed by the men but it was a curse worst then death.
And well out of all Trilochan should be aware of what her life would become before even thinking about that punishment for her.

I think this last ritual is taking bondita’s life in the name of sanyasini rituals.I mean jumping inside the fire(havan kund) and sacrificing her life and that’s why ksj said som to not to tell anirudh.they will not send her to kashi but are planning to kill her.becoz if they will let Bondita live then Anirudh get her back home and be with her and also If needed Anirudh will leave his family and tulsipur to be with her.That’s why they trying to kill her by using the name ritual to become sanyasini.They want to get rid of her permanently.

One point to be noted that if a man fills a woman’s maang, that alone won’t be enough to make them a couple. It’s a stereotype started by the Indian industry, and nowhere in any Indian books it’s written like that. If the makers actually intend to show this, then I guess they would be living in their self- made pre- independence era. Why do we have so many rituals before marriage then ? I believe that each and every Indian ritual has it’s own essence, and that’s why our weddings are more different than Western ones. These Indian soap operas are whatsover insulting these rituals by creating these BS that a man can acquire a maiden or a widow as his wife just by filling her maang.

Sanyasis are not allowed to work for living. They are supposed to live on alms and subdue their ego. They also do not charge for whatever teachings they give to the world.
Burning hands or causing bodily harm is not at all a ritual.

Don’t know why makers are spoiling Bondita’s character😞 The only purpose of Anirudh to educate her was- she would not have to depend on any man to keep her identity, to make her strong enough so that she could stand for herself and fight for what is right and what is wrong , to be an inspiration for other girls that they do not require any man’s help to define them(not even Anirudh’s help, he said it himself, TERI KISMAT TERE HAATHON, SE HI LIKHI JAYEGI…Now they are showing completely opposite😔😔that she is waiting for Anirudh to help her even when she knows that she is right [some people even want him to put vermilion in her head🤷]. Remember people used to tell young Bondita that a woman always had to depend on a man, and has to agree to everything he says whether right or wrong, she’s doing the same🙄. It’s being hard day by day to tolerate this suspense and pain. I can feel love+pain+pity+incapability towards bondita in Anirudh’s eyes. May be he isn’t incapable but due to his responsibility he is thinking like that. But I wish this track will end soon. Because we want something big to happen.

I partially agree with you. As you said right that Bondita shouldn’t depend on any other person. We too want that. But if we are in her place what will we do..? Will we leave our loved ones parted… One is hating us and the other is loving. Whatever happens we will try to unite them. I know it won’t happen soon. It will take time.Many hurdles will come. Just what’s happening. But I don’t understand one thing that why RC ‘s are ignoring bondita..? What did she do..? All the mess happened in her absence. Why are they punishing her..? I am fed up with this KSJ too. He is annoying me these days. And at last I didn’t like that Somnath too. He is always in the mood of anger . I only like bihari. Yes, Versi di. I feel like this Adult Bondita phase itself wasn’t pre-planned. Remember the Rupa track when Anirudh told Bondita there will be a beginning of a new story where he’ll change Thakuma’s mindset ? There was an upcoming interesting track. However, Balika Vadhu 2 was in production and therefore it was necessary to remove Aurra from the show and in the limited time, they didn’t have time to show the storyline of Progressive Thakuma. And now, makers do not know how to take this track forward.
Hope the makers get over this track as soon as possible. It’s been a month tolerating this rubbish track.

This show has really lost its charm these makers are again upto other dramas and making the story dull day by day . If they wanna continue with enmity track ok but whats the need to cook up such worse storylines like others just to get anidita married. There are/were many other women in BB who are/were bolder than Bondita. Thakuma, as of now, is the boldest and strongest woman character in BB. Thakuma never looked back into her past and moved on, plus planned of avenging on Trilochan. She even regretted losing her self respect for Trilochan. Her “tarks” memories will haunt him forever. His relation with ksj will forever be spoiled. Bondita voice loss can finish both Anirudh and Bondita and this show too ofcourse.

I find the choice of clothes of Bondita very strange. Agreed that she came from london but sleeveless blouse is a recent fashion. First I used to think that Saudamini clothes are too modern for pre independence setting and now Bondita’s style has even left her behind.
No offence but this is just my personal view point, I don’t think women of that time wear such clothes. Infact I would like to dress like her in 21st century. She is too modern for 1930s

She should have atleast used her brain n thought that If she didnt add drugs in the box, and tulsipur pppl wont do so, and she trusts Thakumaa also, THEN WHO WOULD HAVE DONE THAT? She could atleast have used some common sense and her 8 YEARS LONG BARRISTRY to sense that something is wrong…

Bondita asks anirudh to give the colorless dress to her. Trilochan reminds ani of bondita’s deceit and binoy’s condition. Anirudh gives it and sampoorna makes bondita to cover her head with saree. Bondita claps and says she only wanted to hear bravo from Anirudh after returning from London but he gave her a tag of a deceiver instead. Sampoorna asks the sanyasini to make bondita ready as sanyasini. Bondita asks sampoorna to make her ready as she is the one who taught her to wear colorfull sarees and jewels, so she need to remove it from her hands. Sampoorna says that she will not hesitate to do it as she used to binoy for her motives and cheated in rights regarding durgaa maa. Sampoorna removes all her jewels. Trilochan says somnath to take care that ani would not speak to the other sanyasini as he would get to know about last ritual. Burning charcoal willl be put in her mouth and her voice will be gone. Ani pases and somnath signs him that he is there. Chandrachur threatens tupur and makes her call for ani. She calls him and says let all the punishment be beared by her but let her sister free. Anirudh reveals her that he too is trying to free bondita and he cuts the call as he sees somnath. Anirudh says somnath that he want to meet sanyasinisho spend torturous lives and this custom is also evil and women should not go through this kind of pain. Somnath says that he cannot meet them as they are in temple. Anirudh goes to see bondita, she says though i leave everything, my love for you will always remain the same. She sees anirudh through mirror. Anirudh breaks the mirror with a stone and asks her not to be adamant. Anirudh says once she will go to Kashi, she won’t be able to come back. She will face challenges there everyday. Bondita says she got hurt when Anirudh didn’t trust her in front of everyone. Now she will stay back only if Anirudh accepts Bondita didn’t betray him. Bondita says she loves Anirudh a lot and he has to accept that he loves her too. Anirudh says he hates her.He says, I don’t. She says, you do. They argue and in end, he shouts, yes, I love. She gets happy. She dreams of f and seeing her dreaming, ani feels guity for giving her hopes
