The Episode starts with Anirudh thinking how did Thakumaa convince Bondita for the marriage. Bondita sees the groom and his family. She hides. Thakumaa goes to her. Bondita asks why didn’t the girl come, the guests have come. Thakumaa says yes, I hope everything is fine at her place, keep the guests engaged in your talks, serve the snacks to the guests. Bondita goes to them. The lady asks Bondita her name. Bondita tells her name. Thakumaa thinks I should do everything well, Bondita shouldn’t doubt. She introduces Tapur and Tupur. She says Bondita made these snacks. Guests like Bondita. Bondita asks why are they staring me like this, do I look strange. Thakumaa says they are seeing your saree, it looks good to them. The lady asks Bondita to come to her. Thakumaa asks her to go. Bondita goes. Thakumaa asks her to come back. The lady questions Bondita. Thakumaa answers. She asks Bondita to sing a bhajan for them. Bondita sings. The lady asks Bondita to come. She says Bondita is ours now, the relation is fixed from our side. She gives shagun to her. Bondita gets shocked. She drops the coin. Thakumaa smiles.
Bondita says I need to talk to you. Thakumaa says I will just come, have some snacks. She goes with Bondita. Bondita asks why didn’t you tell me that you called them for my marriage, not your friend’s daughter, I can’t do this marriage, child marriage is wrong, that’s why Anirudh broke our relation, don’t you know that child marriage is a crime. Thakumaa says biggest crime is to be born as a woman, I m getting you married to make your fate better. Bondita says I have to become a barrister, I respect you a lot, I don’t want your respect to get less, I won’t do this marriage. Thakumaa goes. Sumati thinks sorry Bondita, I couldn’t do anything. Anirudh runs to the haveli. Tapur goes to him. She says groom’s family has said yes for the alliance, but Bondita went with Thakumaa, she refused for the alliance. He asks really. She says yes, Bondita didn’t like Thakumaa’s lies, Thakumaa called the groom’s family by lying, Bondita said child marriage is a crime. He smiles. He says one day, Bondita will become a barrister Babu, thanks for telling this to me, you tell me if there is anything such.
Thakumaa lies to the guests. She says if you like the girl, then why don’t we have a rasam at the temple tomorrow. The lady agrees. Thakumaa gives them sweets. Sumati looks on. Anirudh says Bondita didn’t support the bad custom of child marriage, Thakumaa has to understand this. Trilochan says she should understand that hatred burns the person within. Anirudh gets a letter. He smiles reading that Bondita has been selected for admission in their prestigious school, please confirm the admission. He says I wish Bondita gets wings, they want me to confirm her admission, else they will give the seat to someone else. Trilochan asks do you think she can fly in this situation. Anirudh says I will change the situation, I won’t let it depend on anything, Bondita will go to London and study. Trilochan asks is this necessary. Trilochan asks did you think about it, how will she live alone. Anirudh says I will go with her and stay there, until I make her reach her goals. Trilochan asks him to be careful.
Thakumaa says no one will tell Bondita about Ashirwad rasam. Sumati says she will never agree for this alliance, she already refused to you. Thakumaa asks how did she agree before to marry an old man. Sumati says her Mami had fainted her and then locked me in the house to keep me away, Bondita didn’t say anything today for your respect, tomorrow she won’t keep quiet. Thakumaa says don’t worry, she is my responsibility. She shows the jewellery she got for Bondita. Its morning, Thakumaa says Bondita, you keep my word, like I kept your word, I broke that alliance, you have the food now. She asks Bondita to finish the food. Bondita eats the food. She gets dizzy. Thakumaa recalls adding a medicine in Bondita’s food to control her. Tapur asks what happened to Bondita. Thakumaa thinks I will get her rasam done, once marriage happens, Bondita and Anirudh can’t do anything.

She’s a real b*t*h I must say… What’s the need of an enemy when your own family members who you trust a lot, love a lot, do like this? When will this thakumaa understand the relationship between Anindita… Annoyed and disgusted by her behaviour 😠

Well Sumati is a big fool i must say. She don’t have stand of her own . First she agreed on marrying Bondita to old man even knowing that Bondita is a child and now for this one too .
But new never to be jamai babu should know about Bondita ‘s past , her education , her dreams . He should understand her and step back from marriage.
That smile of never to be jamai babu was hilarious …
Sumati didn’t agree for Bondita’s Alliance to that old mam. Mami had lied to her, Sumati gave the shagun to the old man, thinking he is Bondita’s Sasur. Then on the marriage day when she tried to stop the marriage , the crowd overpowered her and tied her. Then when that old man died and bondita was taken for sati pratha, Sumati gave the direction to Anirudh about Bondita’s whereabouts and thats how Anirudh saved bondita. Sumati is just like a timid, helpless mother. Right now she agreed to what Kalindi is doing,solely for the reasons that she respects thakumaa a lot, maybe she owes her something and Sumati was manipulated by Kalindi into thinking that whatever she is doing is for Bondita’s betterment. If Sumati acts against kalindi and tells the whole truth to bondita, she may feel like she had broken thakuma’s trust. Sumati isn’t that kind of lady. But yes. She must do something. I guess Anirudh may ask for Sumati’s help.
@shruti if you remember the dialogue of mami at the time of Bondita’s marriage to old man” Bondita ki jagah agar Sampoorna hoti toh mein yeh shadi nhi rokti ” And listening this Sumati herself became quiet . Moreover , a mother is to save her child from all odds but she knowing child marriage is already banned agreed to another child marriage . She is too dumb not to see what is good for her daughter.

All Bondita ke gharwale are dangerous
This story depicts real life women troubles. Generation gap makes it worse. Thakumaa went thru those dark days of her life that made her think that married life is ideal life for women no matter even if she is happy or not . She thinks that education is not for women and only marriage is ideal and fate of women . Apart from revenge, she wants Bondita to be saved from what she went thru in her life because of societies views about do and don’ts for women . She made pain her tool for marriage to get Bondita saved from societies thoughts and take her revenge.

One episode for educational and progressive stuffs lots and lots episode for emotional atyachar… If it goes like this when will bondita become barrister? as no studies she is pretty packed with house hold issues all along…I think this why makers are trying to bring leap…lol..because they are running out of emotional atyachar tracks..🤷♀️ bring balance makers..like how the show was in starting days episodes…

The happiness in Anirudh’s face when Tapur says Bon rejects the marriage lighten my mood. Thakumma is tricking Bon the same way as Mami. She has stopped so low. If Thakumma could do this Bon, she can do her other grandnieces as well. Will Shoumik and Rimjin be quiet? I can see Tapur is being traumatized by this whole force marriage. Good for her telling the truth to Anirudh.
Tapur is so sweet little sister and her voice is cute too. I wish she shouldn’t face such situations ahead like bondita. Her parents should take stand for her.
