The Episode starts with Anirudh saying every girl of the village can go to school, every girl will study and move on. Trilochan smiles. He asks Bondita is she ready. Bondita says yes, how shall I come out. Anirudh says she has worn school uniform for the first time, so she is shy to come in front of you. She comes wearing the uniform. Trilochan says its good, but short, once you come home, wear the saree, right Bahu. Bondita feels uncomfortable. Batuk asks where are your shoes and socks. Anirudh says its there. He makes Bondita sit. He makes her wear the shoes. Trilochan says leave the feet, don’t touch wife’s feet. Saudamini looks on. Anirudh says when a wife touches husband’s feet, she gets heaven, if a husband touches wife’s feet, won’t he get heaven, is it just wife’s duty to support
Saudamini says go to school, Bondita, I will make this your last day. Saurabh says I m going to Calcutta, I will find a house and come back to take Sampoorna. Munshi scolds him. Saurabh says I can’t become like Anirudh, but I can at least do this. Biraj asks Sampoorna to stop Saurabh. Sampoorna asks Saurabh to talk to her. They go to the room. Batuk and Bondita are on the way. She smiles recalling Gandhi ji’s words. She asks do all the kids come by car. Batuk says no, not everyone has the car, they come by cycle, cart or by walk. He says I can’t do this, you are a girl, even you can’t do this. She says I will take you, girls are not less than anyone. The car stops. Batuk goes to help the driver. They push the boulder. Saudamini comes in cleaner’s disguise. She uses a liquid and faints her down. She takes Bondita in the trash cart. Batuk doesn’t see her and calls her out. Saudamini says Anirudh left me for your sake, Greenwood rejected me, I will get free from you forever, this time even Anirudh won’t come to help you, Anirudh will see you dying slowly.
Batuk says I tried to find her, but she was nowhere, don’t know where did she go. Anirudh asks was there anyone else. Batuk says yes, some sweeper was there. Anirudh asks how did she look. Saudamini adds some chemicals in the huge vessel. She coughs by the smoke. She goes locking Bondita there. Sampoorna says Anirudh gave you this gift, don’t go. Saurabh says singing is your dream. She says I m happy to be your wife. He says if you are happy as my wife, then know what do I want, I want you to live happy, I want to have a free thinking like Anirudh. She says I feel scared. He hugs her and pacifies. He asks her to sing for him. She says first promise me, you will come soon and take me to Calcutta, else I will come myself. He says I promise, I will come soon and take you along, sing now. She sings for him. They smile.
Saudamini laughs. Anirudh comes. She says whatever you do, Bondita will die today. Anirudh scolds her. He says I have come to save Bondita and I will save her. He pushes her away. He sees the door locked. He asks her to give keys. Saudamini throws the key into the river. She asks how will you save Bondita now, you think she will be alive, no. He tries to break the door. She says you will also die if you go in, think of your life. He says Bondita, I will save you. She says I have hidden Bondita at such a place where you can’t find her. He breaks the door. He coughs by the smoke. He shouts Bondita. He falls back. Saudamini says you will lose your breath. He says if I have to choose ever, I will choose Bondita’s life before mine. He ties a kerchief to his nose and enters the place. He shouts Bondita.
