Manini accuses Banni that Banni’s mother was a mistress of a richman who abandoned Banni’s mother after misusing her. Banni angrily breaks juice glass injuring her hand. She walks towards Manini. Hemant stops her. Banni angrily breaks things and says her mother used to prepare food during weddings, she never compromised on her dignity, she worked hard to feed herself and Banni. She describes how a rich man fell behind her mother and lured her with money and gifts, but her mother never budged to his demand; one day the man dragged her mother with him while basti people just stood silently as spectators ignoring her and her mother’s plea. She says her mother’s dead body was thrown near her house after 2 days, she took oath on her mother’s funeral to be strong and fight with the world for herself.
She continues that they all were enjoying a manipulated story by a rich woman Manini who questioned a poor woman’s character, but they don’t want to listen to a poor girl. She continues tongue lash everyone for their dual behavior and says she is undeterred by the world’s taunts and would continue to live with her head raised, etc. Devraj claps and says he is proud of her and will always support her. Everyone except Manini and her puppets clap with Devraj. Banni leaves Rathore mansion with her team feeling proud of herself.
Viraj with Charmi drops unconscious Yuvan to his room and hopes Yuvan weould have seen Banni’s humiliation. He sprays pepper spray in Yuvan’s eyes enjoying torturing him. Manini asks him to stop as she needs to answer Hemant. Viraj continues. Hemant expresses his disapleasure with Devraj about Banni barging in with her basti people uninvited and says its good that Banni will not come here from tomorrow.
Banni walks on street recalling her Mamisa, Raja, and Manini’s humiliating words. She notices a temple possession passing by and dances in it recalling all her childhood incidents where people tried to misuse her and her mother advising her to be strong and not weak.
Precap: Devraj’s sister tells him that Banni took Yuvan’s blood sample and don’t know if she will help Yuvan now or not. Devraj says they need to something before Yuvan’s marriage. Viraj tells Manini that blood sample collector told Banni that they will meet at the wedding. Manini says Banni will not attend wedding tomorrow.

Of all the characters without backbone Hemant takes the crown. What is his purpose in the show? He has no intelligence to see what’s happening to his son right under his nose. In his presence Viraj is abusing his son and he has no clue? What a sorry excuse for a father. That character is poorly written. The writers could have just portrayed him as dead instead of this spineless character. Dadu is another weird character. He knows what his grandson’s mental health is and how vulnerable he is at the hands of his own family, yet he kept the stipulation of marriage in his will and handed it to Manini. These two characters and their subplots need to be better written.
ALSO PLEASE STOP SHOWING TORTURE ON MENTALLY DISABLED PEOPLE IN SHOWS. IF IT HAS TO OCCUR, IT SHOULD BE BRIEF, IN ONE EPISODE WITH PLENTY OF FLASHBACK. There are parents with disabled kids in India who are already terrified for the future of their children given the attitude in our society regarding mental illness. Please show some sensitivity. This torture and abuse of mentally ill person is like rape. Will you show rape in every episode or just one?

I love part of the story of this show but sometimes skip watching the abuse & humiliation sections
This is terrifying to know that many people in society are evil even in your own home and that many will just watch injustice takes place & only few will stand up for justice and those few who do stand up are themselves become the target of hate & humiliation.
Producers & writers – we know you are right in showing these kind of stuff so that we in society are educated in what is happening to the weak & vulnerable but please flip the script so that we learn also how to fight back & stand up to evil
This is the reason why I live Banni’s character but time & time & again she has to face humiliation

Who is the rich man that took Banni’s mother? Could it be Yuvan’s father? I can’t help but wonder if there is any relation between the characters since they did not show the rich man’s face in the flashback.
