Banni tells Devraj that Yuvan’s music was with him before Manini and Banni arrived in his life, it will give him a new identity and confidence in life. Devraj says he felt good seeing her concern for her husband, but Malini will not let this happen. Banni says Yuvan would have to write his own fate, its her mission to get Yuvan on his feet and needs Devraj’s support. Devraj says his support is always with her. Banni says they need to get Manini’s puppet Viraj’s attention away from Yuvan. Devraj asks how will she do that. Banni calls her basti friend Surbhi and asks if she knows what to do. Surbhi asks her not to worry. She walks to kids and keeps laddu thali in front of Viraj while he is busy talking over phone. Kids hide laddus in Viraj’s pocket.
Myra and Vishnu chat while decorating Gandapti pandal and talk about girl and boy’s interdependece for each other. Yuvan asks what does that mean. Myra explains its meaning and says just like Yuvan and Bannia re interdependent on each other. Yuvan walks to Banni’s house. A girl whom Yuvan helped with a carrot flute walks to him. Yuvan gets happy seeing her and asks how is she. She says she got 1st price in music competition because of him. Other kids walk in with musical instruments. Music school owner offers Yuvan to teach music to children and prepare them to play music at Ganpati vandana. Yuvan feeling underconfident refuses.
Banni asks children to play music. Yuvan corrects them. School owner calls him guruji/teacher and praises his music. Yuvan asks where is guruji. Banni says he is Guruji. Owner insists Yuvan to become his school’s music teacher and offers him dance money and even asks children to touch Guruji’s feet. Yuvan feels elated and asks them not to touch his feet. Owner asks him to get them ready for Ganpati bandana and then teach them daily. Yuvan agrees. Banni tells Devraj that music is Yuvan’s life and he can build his career over it. Devraj says at least it will keep him away from Malini for some time.
Viraj returns with laddus and tries to reenter pandal venue, but basti people stop him. Banni sings during ganpati vandana and starts coughing. Goon Raja taunts her that her heart is impure and hence even god is not supporting her. Yuvan comes to Banni’s rescue and sings with her. Two girls watch Yuvan’s performance.
