Scene 1:
Location: Jaitsar
In the haveli, while jagiya is applying medicine on her leg, he is reminded of ganga thinking that there are people who couldnt bear even a little wound and then there’s ganga who has faced so much. Sanchi tries to b*t*h about anandi asking if she was the same when she was with him, careless towards other’s feelings and insensitive, and concerned about her well being only. Jagiya is surprised to hear her talk like this but doesnt comment rightaway. He asks her if she’s feeling better. she says that she wants to rest, he says its okay if she wants to rest there but then sanchi agrees to go with him only.
Scene 2:
Location: Ratan singh’s and Jaitsar haveli
Ganga finds the phone ringing and starts searching around for it. finally she finds it and searches for the slip that jagiya had given her with his no on it. She dials that no but nobody is able to hear since the mobile is on the roof of jaitsar haveli and everyone is busy in kiteflying. Ganga is upset to find her call not getting through. She dials it carefully checking the no again wishing like hell that he picks it up this time. Jagiya comes up on the roof with sanchi and everyone asks if she’s feeling okay. She sits beside meenu while jagiya is oblivious that his phone is ringing. Meanwhile ganga hears ratan’s voice calling out for her. She leaves the phone and goes out. Jagiya gives his kite to nandu and goes with another kite to varun and asks him to fly it. He says no, but jagiya keeps insisting to fly the kite and have fun like everyone else. Jagiay says that if he doesnt want to, then he would fly the kite for him and varun would just have to hold the chakri for him. Sugna’s mothr in law is stopped by her father in law when she tries to go to get him. jagiya flies the kite and then tries to give it to varun. Dadisa while watching all this commenst that jagiya has really changed for the better. Finally he is able to get varun rid of his fear and fly kite and having fun. Everyone is happy at seeing that.
Scene 3:
Location: Ratan singh’s haveli
Sankranti is being celebrated with alcohol and snacks. Ganga gets him and his friends snacks for the alcohol and he again insults his wife in front of everyone. Ratan curses ganga for intentionally feeding him hot snacks and slaps him in front of everyone who has come for sankranti. She too is shocked to see this. She tries to retaliate but is snubbed off, much to the pleasure of his second wife. As ganga goes off, she finds her child crying, and forcibly takes her from her mother in law to be able to feed him.
While boiling milk in the kitchen, ganga remembers all the atrocities borne to her and thinks that she had been suffering due to her son, but not anymore and that now’s the time to run away for her and her son’s betterment. As she walks out with her son, with her face hidden in the veil, she finds people flying kites. She sneaks out with the kid from the back door.
Scene 4:
Location: Jaitsar haveli
Jagiya remembers anandi and him playing on sankranti. Nandu reminds him that he needs to save his kite before shiv cuts it. He thinks that shiv has already done that and he wishes that he could have returned before, well within time. Jagiay gets hold of his kite again. Makhan gets snacks for shiv to taste, which he does after anandi has tastes it, and teases her saying that the snacks have somehow become sweetened. while nandu is emphatically rooting for jagiya, shiv calls upon sanchi and meenu too asks her to go and cheer for shiv. They all are waiting with bated breaths to find out who wins the bet.
Scene 5:
Location: Ratan Singh’s haveli
Ratan is disappointed to find his kite cut by someone. He tries to call up a person to get more drinks, and finding that his cell isnt with him, he calls out to ganga to get his phone. when she doesnt respond, an angry ratan goes inside to teach ganga a lesson.
Scene 6:
Location: In the fields
ganga while running, comes into a patch of fields, where she stops to take some breaths. She finds herself facing the Laxmiganj Bus Station and is very hopeful and prays to the goddess to show hr the right path and be with her so that she can save herself and her son. The screen freezes on her face.
Underlying message: Bearing continuous torture, when a person has had enough of his share, he ultimately becomes restlss to break free and finally takes the descisive step.
Precap: While everybody is rooting for the kiteflying competition in the jaitsar haveli, with shiv and jagiya trying to win over the other, ganga tries to board the bus but is shocked to find a knows person getting down from the bus, who is equally shocked to find ganga there.
