Scene 1:
Location: Shiv’s house in jaitsar
Anandi looking at their wedding photo, thinks that she doesnt know what it is thats stopping her from getting too close to shiv, when he cares for her so much. And thinks that yet she’s trying to go near him because he has a right on her and loves her, therefore cares for every slightest details about her. She is in a dilemma whether she should submit to him, due to the care and respect that shiv has for her, but considers it as an insult to shiv’s love and that she shouldnt repay back hsi favours in the name of love by submitting herself to him and she would never want that. She starts rolling off her bed and turns around to find shiv enter. seeing him unexpectedly, the blanket rolls off her hand. Shiv pretending as if nothing happened, picks it up, puts it in the closet and taking other blankets out puts them on the bed and asks anandi to sleep too. She hesitatingly approcahes her side of the bed and begins to say something, but shiv continues to make her guilt free, that she doesnt need to beat herself about it since he’s sure that the day would come when she herself ius comfortable being intimate with him.
Scene 2:
Location: Jaitsar haveli
The singh family is chatting. Dadisa says that she’s very happy and couldnt wait for the day to come, as she really liked bhairo’s idea last night. They alld ecide to give a surprise to jagiya when he comes down. Jagiya descends from the stairs and asks about this surprise visit somewhere. Nandu offers to say, to others surprise, then on dadisa’s motioning, he says that he has to take jagiya somewhere.
Scene 3:
Location: Ratan Singh’s haveli
While ratan’s family is sitting in the drawing room, ratan’s second wife sees her bruiised hand and remembers last night’s conversation with ganga. She deliberately scratches her hand and goes to her mother in law to take care of the baby. She immediately notices it and asks her what happened in her hand. She, on their insistence, concocts up a lie, that ganga did this to her when she innocently asked ganga last night to get the baby to sleep. She all the more instigates them saying, that if she can hurt her then she could also hurt her baby. she threatens that she would leave if anything happens to her or the baby. Ratan is very angry and is about to go in ganga’s room to reprimand her, but is advised by his parenst otherwise that she is not needed anymore in the house, as the child is nomore on br*ast feed and that they should finally throw her out of the house. Ganga, listening from a distance, is shcoked to hear this.
Scene 4:
Location: Jaitsar hospital
The singh family arrives at their hospital. Jagiya is confused as to why his family has got him there so happily when he doesnt find any patients to be treated there. Dadisa asks him to be patient as he would get the answer soon. Shiv also arrives with his family, adding to jagiya’s confusion. Lal singh’s wife begins the roli tika ceremony to welcome jagiya in the hospital, while others look lovingly. Lal singh too asks jagiya to come inside the hospital. jagiya asks why the special treatment. Instead of telling him the reason, they force him to come with them inside. There, all doctors are waiting for welcoming him, while the singh faamily is super happy and excited. They take him to a room, tied with a ribbon. As he stands in front of it, he remebers how they had welcomed him when he first returned from mumbai after becoming a doctor. Bhairo gives him the scissors to cut open the ribbon and enter the room. He is overwhelmed and speechless what to do. He does it nevertheless in a trance, while others clap. Bhairo addresses him as the director of their hospital, as others are happy and jagiya is still unable to cope up.
They enter the room, while jagiya feels his chair, disbelievingly, as others are overwhelmed too. He remembers the fist time he entered the hospital, and had turned them down and insulted their love and respect for him as a doctor. He takes off the garland around his neck and placing it on the chair, has tears coming out of her eyes. dadisa says that this was bhairo’s wish and they had all wanted that for so many years, along with its villagers. He hugs dadisa.
Bhairo too pats him and makes him face him. Bhairo says that they were waiting for the day, when he, their son would return back to the hospital and to them. He hugs jagiya tight.
Underlying message: Its important that a person belonging to a village background, goes to the town to educate himself and gain knowledge but then returns to his village, with an intention of making progress and improvement in the present conditions of his motherland.
Precap: Dadisa invites shiv along with his faamily, for celebrating anandi’s first sankranti with them. Meenu is at a loss to say anything, as she doesnt know how to refuse dadisa and also how to tell ira about it. As expected, ira is upset, that it is their first sankranti too, after the marriage, and that they would feel lonely too if shiv and anandi are absent. Sahe asks meenu if she didnt tell dadisa that they had earlier made a plan with anandi and shiv. Meenu doesnt know what to say. Anandi is a little tensed seeing meenu’s expression, while talking on the phone to ira.
