The Episode starts with Revati confronting her father, Vinay. She reminds him that he canceled her engagement but is happily preparing for Bhagyashree’s. Vinay calmly explains that Revati is still immature and has time, while Akka (Bhagyashree) has been through heartbreak, and he wishes to settle her life quickly. Padma worries that relatives still believe Rishabh is Bhagyashree’s husband. Vinay, however, stands firm—he will reveal the truth about their divorce and says he cares only for Bhagyashree’s happiness, not society’s whispers. Whoever wishes to support them is welcome at the engagement.
Bhagyashree returns home after jogging, where Vinay informs her that Nikhil’s parents are coming that evening and asks for her ring size. Bhagyashree resists, saying she isn’t ready yet. Revati cuts in, offering to get engaged instead, but Vinay silences her, reminding Bhagyashree that Nikhil was her choice eight years ago and insisting he will keep her happy.
Just then, Vinay opens the door and finds Rishabh standing there. Rishabh lightly jokes that even the newspaper vendor mistakes Vinay’s house for his in-laws’, as the paper is being delivered there. Vinay, unmoved, says Bhagyashree’s engagement to Nikhil will soon clear all such misunderstandings. He firmly states that he will be introducing Nikhil as his son-in-law.
Later, while getting ready, Bhagyashree is lost in thoughts of Rishabh. Revati notices her unease and reminds her that Rishabh is not a bad man, as he has helped their family many times. But Bhagyashree, still wounded, insists that everything Rishabh did was only to gain her trust and betray her later. Revati tells her that the choice is ultimately hers but urges her to be certain before making it. Left alone, Bhagyashree worries that in trying to solve one problem, she is walking into another. She resolves that she must speak with Nikhil directly.
At the venue, Vinay and Padma supervise the engagement decorations. Amid lighthearted moments, Sowmya scolds Karthik for wearing a mismatched kurta. Just then, Shreyas returns earlier than expected from his trip. Overjoyed, his parents hug him, but he quickly questions why Revati’s marriage to Purab has been arranged. Sowmya corrects him, clarifying it’s Bhagyashree’s engagement. Shreyas notices a kurta and asks who it belongs to. Rishabh enters, claiming it is his. Shreyas angrily scolds him, but Karthik takes him aside. Vinay formally invites Rishabh to the engagement, saying he must witness Bhagyashree’s future himself. Rishabh, with quiet determination, replies that he will indeed see his own future there, before leaving.
As the engagement proceeds, elders give Bhagyashree and Nikhil some private time. Bhagyashree, however, confronts him honestly—this feels wrong to her, almost like a deception. Nikhil argues that they once loved each other, were torn apart by fate, and now destiny has given them a second chance. But Bhagyashree shakes her head—she no longer feels for him what she once did. She admits her heart no longer belongs to Nikhil, and while she hates Rishabh for deceiving her, she cannot deny the emotions he still stirs in her. Nikhil pleads with her to give time a chance, insisting she will eventually love him again.
At that very moment, Rishabh enters the house. Bhagyashree freezes, lost in memories of their bond. As Nikhil’s mother places the rings in front of her, Vinay and Padma gently urge her forward. With pain in her eyes, Bhagyashree picks up the ring, caught between duty and her true emotions.
Precap: Revati reveals her pregnancy. Shreyas, furious, thrashes Purab. Bhagyashree tells Rishabh that Revati and Purab’s marriage must take place.
