The Episode starts with Sunny congratulating Nikhil, teasing him that in the morning he proposed and now relatives have already arrived for his alliance. Revati, puzzled, asks what proposal he is referring to. Sunny blurts out that earlier in the day Nikhil proposed marriage to Bhagyashree, and she agreed. Everyone assumed she only said yes to provoke Rishabh, but with the relatives’ arrival, it now seems genuine. Meenakshi’s mother stirs the pot, questioning whether the engagement is Bhagyashree’s or Revati’s. Sowmya taunts both Bhagyashree and Revati, accusing them of making such big decisions without the family’s approval. Sunny suddenly realizes he has made the situation worse. Padma then diverts attention, saying Bhagyashree herself will answer everyone, but as she fears darkness,
Meanwhile, Bhagyashree confronts Rishabh. With tears and anger, she asks him to leave her life and declares that she is going to marry Nikhil. Rishabh, heartbroken, asks if she truly feels nothing for him. Bhagyashree, forcing her emotions down, says she hates him and again repeats that she will marry Nikhil. Rishabh, however, softens and says if she really wants to live with someone else, he will step aside because her happiness matters to him more than anything. He asks her to close her eyes and visualize the person she truly loves. Both close their eyes—Rishabh sees Bhagyashree, while Bhagyashree sees Rishabh, silently proving their love despite her denial.
Back at home, Karthik tells Nitya that Bhagyashree has gone missing. Padma suspects she may be stuck in the lift, but Sunny says the lift isn’t working. Vinay decides to check the meter room while Sonia and Nitya frantically search for the key. Inside, Bhagyashree is indeed trapped with Rishabh. He gives her his phone with its dying battery and tells her to hold it, assuring her that he will find a way out. She nervously asks what he plans to do, but he replies that they must act or else remain trapped in the darkness forever.
Outside, her family hears her voice from the meter room and panics. They break open the door and are stunned to see Bhagyashree with Rishabh. Vinay angrily questions how Rishabh ended up inside, while Rishabh demands Sonia and Nitya explain why they locked them in. Vinay consoles Bhagyashree, reminding her the family stands by her. He then calls Nikhil, joins Bhagyashree’s hand with his, and announces that Sunny informed him she accepted Nikhil’s proposal. Without delay, he blesses them and fixes their engagement for the next day, extracting a promise from Nikhil to keep Bhagyashree happy. Just then, Purab and Revati arrive. Vinay proudly declares that Bhagyashree’s marriage with Nikhil is finalized. Rishabh, devastated, hides his tears as Vinay leaves with the family. Sonia and Nitya apologize to Rishabh for the chaos they caused.
Bhagyashree angrily scolds Nitya for her reckless actions that entangled both families in this mess. At that moment, a group of LGBT women arrive to congratulate her. Meanwhile, Kaddu approaches Rishabh, but he gently tells her to visit him whenever she wants non-veg food. Bhagyashree interrupts and insists Kaddu come with her. Rishabh, however, tells Kaddu to go with her mother, saying her father will stay in the same society, suggesting his own lonely fate.
The next morning, Padma tries to persuade Revati to eat breakfast. Vinay excitedly announces that he is going to buy a ring for Nikhil. Padma urges him to wait, explaining that Revati is on a hunger strike. Concerned, Vinay lovingly encourages Revati to eat her favorite food, but she remains silent. Sowmya casually remarks that Revati is eating more than enough because of her cravings, adding to the family tension.
Precap: Nikhil tells Bhagyashree that this is God’s will and urges her to accept the engagement. At the same time, Rishabh makes an emotional entry at the engagement ceremony.
