Baalveer 3 fame Aditi Sanwal talks about her role as Kaashvi; says, she has been given the freedom to interpret her character
Aditi Sanwal, who essays the role of Kaashvi in Balveer 3 is super excited for the new season. The actress talked about the narrative of the show and her experience shooting for it in a recent interview. She also opened up about what viewers can expect from the latest season.
Talking about her character Kaashvi in the show, she said, “Kaashvi is an endearing person whose mere presence would make anyone feel fond of her. She goes above and beyond for her loved ones, including her mother and Veer (whom she is unaware of as Baalveer). With her compassionate nature and willingness to put others first, she possesses a kind heart that is hard to come by. Kaashvi is just like any other girl building a life for herself in the modern world by being grounded and rooted in her family values.”
When asked about his prep for the role, she shared, “I didn’t have to put in a lot of extra effort to get into character because I found the character to be quite relatable to myself. My approach was to keep it as natural as possible when bringing the character to life on screen since that was the brief given to me. As the story evolves, there are many new aspects of the character that I must learn while on set, including action scenes and scenes that involve imagination and superpowers. Kaashvi’s life is gradually becoming entwined with magic and fantasy, and this presents new challenges that I must tackle.”
Talking about her favorite scene in the show till now, Kaashvi said, “While there were many scenes that I enjoyed shooting for, one scene stands out for me. It’s the one where Kaashvi is oblivious of her maha jaadu and other powers and is shown to be eve-teased by some boys. So, how she deals with them and her powers surface in the process was fun to shoot for. While I can’t divulge too much about the specifics of the scene, I can say that it was a pleasure filming this scene and it was executed in a very stylized manner. I am eagerly looking forward to the viewers’ response.”
When asked how she balances playing a character that is part of a well-established show while she is still bringing her own unique interpretation to the role, she replied, “Since the new season is completely different from previous seasons, I don’t feel like I must do much to differentiate it. This means I can tell a completely new story without any pressure. Everyone has been very supportive, including those who have worked on previous seasons and have given me advice on the show’s history. The direction team has also provided me with guidance. Additionally, I have been given the freedom to interpret my character as I see fit, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to add my own unique touch to the role. I am thrilled to have this level of creative control over my character.”
