Realizing the fact that she had blurted out the truth to her daughter at the wrong time, she decided to stop crying and console her daughter. But before she could execute her thought process, she was mesmerized by the way her daughter reacted to the situation. Avni wiped of the tears rolling down her mother’s cheek and made her stand up and said “I am sorry mom, next time you would never hear his name from my tongue and that’s a promise. You plz stop crying for a meager person who created a hell out of ur life.” Asha was left bamboozled. She hugged her daughter and realized that her daughter had become mature before age due to the circumstances and decided to tell her the full truth

(In the room) “Avni, beta, I think that the time has come for u 2 know the whole truth”, said Asha. “But, mamma, what kind of truth?” said innocent Avni. “Beta, the gifts u get on ur b’day from ur dad’s side, they were never ever sent by him. In fact, he left me and you at a very tender age when he was needed, at the time of ur birth and he never ever turned back to see how u and I were living! (Weeping and in a whispering voice) he never ever cared….. I used to wander from one place to another for work and shelter but none helped me and that day I realized that the real identity and nature of a man is exposed when u need him the most.”

Lil Avni asked “mamma, didn’t chachi ma help you? She is like ur sister, no?”To this Asha replied “True said beta, she is just lake a sister but not a real sister. How could have I expected her to help? But still I went to her to ask for help thinking that she loved me the same way I did but never knew that she had never accepted me like a sister. All she did was just a charade.” Avni was left aghast listening to all this, she asked her mom if she was betrayed by her father then why did she continue his business. Asha looked at her with raised eyebrows.

“No beta, this business which u r seeing flourishing is not at all of ur father! In fact, u see that house (pointing towards Diksha’s home)?” Avni said, “Yes ma, its chachi maa’s home!” “Yes beta, the chachi maa’s house and business is not hers but ur father’s! Anyhow u should avoid going to her home! And I don’t regret the past but live the present bcoz I feel and strongly believe that god won’t give me more pain than I can handle and endure !” saying so she kissed the forehead of her daughter and asked her to sleep a sound sleep.

But Avni kept awake whole night and kept thinking about the incidents and the #FB that her mother showed. She was restless whole night. She was actually horrified at this truth. She couldn’t believe this fact that her father was so. Next day she woke up very early and dropped down the school that day. It was not so that she was stressed out or depressed but she was thinking on all those lines that her mother told her the previous night and decided to make her mom happy and stress free. She decided to cook something but since she was so small so she decided to make…..
