avneil ff: love, really?? (Chapter 6)

While dancing avni and neel collides, and stares each other, while everyone else is still busy in dancing, then amol and kareena sees them and again involves them in dancing. Later other guests also join them when they are dancing on the songs played by DJ.

After dancing, everyone goes for the dinner. After having a chit chat session after dinner, everyone leaves.( Author’s note: you will get all the party scene soon but in flashbacks)

In the morning( in park)

Avni and neela are walking in the park quietly, but neela couldn’t bare this silence and says “So”

Avni gets confused and asks “So what ma?”

Neela asks “You like this place, people here?”

Avni says “Yeah its nice”

Neela asks “Umm so did you make new friends?”

Avni says “Yeah ma”

Neela asks “Great, who”

Avni says “Kareena and neel”

Avni stops to tie her shoe lace and neela seeing her stop.

Neela asks although she knows the answer “Neel, he is khanna’s heir right”

Avni says “Yeah”

Avni takes the water bottle from neela’s hand, and starts to drink some water.

Neela says “you want to tell about this new guy”

Avni after listening to neela, spits the water in reaction, she knows where the track her mother is taking and says “Guy, new guy, oh no, no ma, its nothing like that”

Neela says “Okay” and her smiles vanishes again

Avni drinks water and Neela asks “Did you meet neel before the party”

Avni says “Yes I did”

Neela asks “Where”

Avni says “At the park”

Neela says in a teasing tone “Ohhh”

Avni gets angry and says “Ma”

Neela asks innocently “What”

Avni says “Its nothing like that”

Neela asks “Like what”

Avni says “Like we are dating or something”

Neela says “I never said that, but do you”

Avni says “No ma, I am not”

Neela says “Okay”

Avni starts to jog without telling neela, when neela sees her jogging she runs behind her to catch up with her.

“How’s he” neela says while her breath is irregular due to running.

“who he ma” avni says

“of course neel, and stop jogging I am getting tired” neela says and avni slows down and starts to walk.

“How do I know how is he doing ” avni says causally

“Offo stupid girl, I mean how do you find him” neela says getting irritated by the tubelightness of her daughter.

Avni says “I didn’t find him, we met in the park as he is rhea’s friend”

Neela says “offo, what should I do of this tubelight girl”

“ma so ask directly na, why making it complicated. “ avni says

“I was asking directly but you are a tubelight “neela says

“ma not fair” avni says and pouts

“Avni stop this and answer my question” neela again gets curious

“Very irritating” avni says and neela’s smile vanishes

“what Avni, neel is handsome” neela says and before she could say more avni cuts her and says “Etc etc, what do you want to say ma?”

Neela says “Ok fine, do you like neel”

Avni gets perplexed by neela’s question, she has never in her wildest dreams have thought that her mother will ask this, actually she does but the person would be neel , she have never thought .“What”

Neela says “Yeah, tell me, you can tell me, I know I am your mother but I am your friend also I didn’t look like a mother, I look so young”

Avni says “No ma, I don’t like him”

Neela says “avni I am getting worried, every girl has crushes except you, avni are you a”

Avni says before neela could complete her sentence “ No ma, I am not, actually ma, I just cant trust anyone so whats the use of having crush. And also don’t worry, I am interested in guys only”

Neela says “don’t worry baby, you will soon find someone. So where were we, yeah neel, so”

Avni says “ma, he is nice but not my type and I don’t like him, neither I am interested in him nor he is in me”

Neela asks “Really? How could you say about him”

Avni says “Yeah, and I can say because I feel this”

Neela says “But I don’t think so, I saw you guys.”

Avni stops in her tracks and so does neela.

Avni says “Ma please, its nothing like that and when did you saw us” avni thinks ‘please god ma hasn’t saw that , please, please’

Neela says “I think you mean where, I saw you both at the dance floor”

Avni thinks ‘thank you god, thank you’

Neela says “where are you lost” and waves her hand in front of avni’s eyes.

Avni says “no where”

Neela says “you were so lost in each other’s eyes, like love birds”

Avni says “ no ma, you must have mistaken, because nothing like that happened”

Neela says “oh really, now you have started lying to me”

Avni says “no ma”

Neela says “okay I trust you”

Neela think ‘baby you can fool others but you cant fool me, I know I haven’t mistaken. You both were lost in each other’s eyes, unaware of the world around you. You will sooner or later come to me and speak your heart to me’

Avni says “lets go home”

Neela says “yeah sure”

They start to walk.
