Avika Gor talks about being replaced in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Antim

Avika Gor, known for her successful stint in TV and the South film industry, is now preparing for her much-anticipated Bollywood debut in the film “1920: Horrors of the Heart.” Currently engaged in promotional activities for the movie, she recently appeared on Siddharth Kannan’s chat show, where she shared insights into her personal and professional life.

During the conversation, Siddharth Kannan questioned Avika about her alleged exit from Salman Khan’s film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.” Avika clarified that she wasn’t the one to back out but rather was replaced by someone else. She explained that the paperwork was complete, and she was set to sign the contract the following day, but received a call stating that they had decided to move forward with a different actor. Avika accepted their decision without any qualms.

She further revealed that she had anticipated being replaced, as she had previously experienced a similar situation with the same team in Salman Khan’s “Antim.” Avika shared that she was replaced just two weeks before the film’s shooting. Despite these occurrences, Avika maintained a gracious attitude, acknowledging that ultimately, it was the filmmakers’ decision, and they must have had their reasons.

When asked if she felt hurt, Avika admitted that, as a human, she had such feelings and wished the situation had not repeated. However, she believed that things happen for a reason and respected the filmmakers’ choices. She recognized that they needed to make wise decisions in selecting the best fit for their films.

On the professional front, Avika Gor is eagerly preparing for her Bollywood debut in the film “1920: Horrors of the Heart.” Written by Mahesh Bhatt and directed by Krishna Bhatt, the movie is produced by Loneranger Products and Houseful Motion Pictures. Audiences can anticipate its theatrical release on June 23.
