Arranged Marriage (Part 2) (A Riansh OS)

I am back with the second part

So this part will start as Vansh and Riddhima go down where the others are sitting amd chit chat for a while when Uma says,

Uma:Vansh you do one thing you and Riddhima go out for sometime…by going out, Riddhima too can explore some parts of Mumbai as she is coming for the first time right?

When Uma said this, everyone else also agreed and Vansh and Riddhima had to go out…

Once they went out and were roaming on the streets,there was an awkward silence between them for some mins and Vansh then decided to break this silence and said,

Vansh:So Riddhima…what do you do?

Riddhima:Actually I am a doctor and I work in my dad’s hospital itself….

Vansh:Ohh…so you are a doctor…nice..

Riddhima:Umm..what do you do?

Vansh:I am a business man and I too work in my dad’s company…

Riddhima:Ohh..nice..

They were just randomly talking these things and by their gesture, it was seen that they were comfortable with each other..

Meanwhile in AR Mansion

Uma:I want to tell something to you all…Deep and Aarohi, see we are very good friends since our childhood…so I was thinking that why not chamge this friendship into a relationship

Aarohi:Uma what are you saying…I did not understand..

Uma:Arre I was saying that why not get our Vansh and Riddhima married?…and now it is their age to marry so why not marry them itself ?..

When Uma said this, initially Ajay, Aarohi and Deep were shocked but then soon they were very happy about the proposal that Uma gave and they too agreed for it..

Deep:Wow Uma…what an idea…I am ok with it what say Aarohi..

Aarohi:Absolutely…and I will be more than happy and relieved to send Riddhima to my best friend’s house after their marriage..

Ajay:If everyone is happy then who am I to be quiet…I am also very happy…once Vansh and Riddhima will come, then we will tell them about our decision…

After a while, Riansh also came home and as they came, Uma told them about their decision..

Uma:Vansh and Riddhima…beta the four of us have decided to get you both married..

Riansh:WHATTT!!!

Aarohi:Yes beta….see we are not forcing our decisions on you…you both talk for a while and then decide…

Vansh and Riddhima both were speechless by this sudden action by their families…

Riddhima:But don’t you all think that this is too early for all this ?..

Vansh: Exactly…we both have just met today and we barely know each other..

Ajay:So who is telling you both to marry today itself…you both first talk woth each other, and if you both are ok, then we will talk about the marriage…

Aarohi:Yes…and a tradition named Arranged Marriage also exists..so first you both go and talk with each other and then tell us about your decision..

Riansh went to Vansh’s room to talk..

Vansh:I am seriously not understanding what to say…we hardly know each other and our parents have asked us to get married?!

Riddhima:Do you love someone?

Vansh:What nonsense!!…I have nobody in my life…neither I had nor I have anyone right now..

Riddhima:So what’s the problem??…we both are singles so we can think about the marriage…I am not forcing my thoughts on you…am just saying..

Vansh:Are you ready for our marriage??

Riddhima:Umm..yaa..

Vansh:So I also don’t have any problem..

Riddhima:What!! Seriously??

Vansh:Yes…I thought that you must have felt uncomfortable that’s why I was a little hesitant…but now you are ok so I too don’t have any problem..and if the question is that we don’t know anything abt each other then we will have time between our marriage rituals right?…then we will talk with each other?

Riddhima:Ok Vansh…come let’s go to our parents..

Riansh went down and declared their decision..

Vansh:Mom, dad…we are ready for our marriage..

Uma:What!!…seriously..I am soo happy…

Vansh:But we need some time to know each other…

Riddhima:Yes..

Aarohi:Then let’s do one thing…today itself I will call panditji and then he will  decide a shubh mahurat for your marriage and according to that we will decide further rituals ok??

All agreed and the panditji too came in the evening to decide the muhurat for their marriage..

Panditji:The auspicious day for their engagement is the next month and for marriage it is after around 9 months…

Riddhima:Panditji are there any other dates??

Panditji:Beta the next date for the engagement is after 2 years and for marriage it is straight after 6 years..

Aarohi:What!!…6 years!!..no panditji…we are okay with the dates which you said previously…

The panditji soon went and Aarohi said to Riddhima..

Aarohi:Riddhima see I know the engagement is soon after 1 month but you have more 9 months for your marriage…aren’t 9 months more than enough for you both to know each other??

Riddhima:Ok mom…I am ok with these dates..

Vansh:Same with me
