Arrange marriage love – Ragsan – 12

Nite all had dinner and went to their room. Ragsan preparing to sleep. Sanskar took pillow in his hand. Ragini looks at him.

Rag: no need sanskar ji. I don’t do that daily. Only sometime…

San: it’s ok. I can sleep on couch.

Rag: sanskar ji. Do u believe me?

He looks into her eyes and nods as yes.

Rag: then sleep here. It won’t happen often.

Both slept on bed.

Next mrng Ragini does arti. She gives arti to all and took blessings.

Ragini and Maya started to assist ap and Sujata in cooking.

At lunch time. After having lunch dadi says

Dadi: today’s ragini’s mu dikhai. Do preparation for that. All ladies r coming.

Evng mu dikhai ritual started. Ragini was dressed beautifully. She comes and sits in hall. Sanskar desperately wanted to see her but no one ladies allowed him. He was just sitting outside in car with Mohit.

Rag in Thier room after ritual.

Rag: function was nice.

San: how do I know? I dint attend only. Cudnt even see u.

Rag: sometime u behave like kid sanskar ji.

San: it’s gud to behave like kid some time. Don’t call me ji. Only sanskar.

Rag: ji?

San: no ji. Only sanskar.

Rag with smile: ok sanskar.

Dadi to ragsan: these are ur tickets. U can leave tmrw mrng.

San: ok dadi

He took tickets.

In Thier room.

San: dadi is so sweet. She booked tickets for us. I never thought abt dadi like this.

Ragini took tickets and started laughing. Sanskar looked at her with confused face. He took tickets and saw that those tickets were for visiting temples which r in India only.

San: stop laughing. Can’t we visit temple after marriage? It’s not necessary to go abroad for honeymoon everytime.

He tried to hide his expressions. But Ragini caught him and again started laughing.

Rag: sanskar ji.. oh sry.. sanskar u can’t even lie. I know u thought dadi might have given Switzerland or some other country tickets.

San: pls Ragini.

Rag: ok ok. Sry.

Next day

They visit temples and returned home. Mohit and Maya were suppressing thier laugh. Sanskar glares them and goes to his room.

……….

San: Ragini, let’s go some where.

Rag: where?

San: just like long drive or shopping.

Rag smiles: ok.

They went to mall. After little shopping sanskar took her to a park.

Rag: sanskar, y we r here? We did shopping. Let’s go home.

San: Ragini, I want to spend sometime with u.

Both look in eo eyes.

They sit on grass looking at children who were playing.

San: Ragini, r u happy with this marriage?

Rag: y r u asking like this?

San: just. After marriage we dint get time to spend with each other. I want to know u. I want to know ur likes, dislikes, hobbies everything. I want to know everything about you.

Rag: m a simple girl having same dreams like every girl has. A family, relatives and husband who cares for me a lot. And I got that. M happy that we married.

San in mind: then tell me I love you. I want to hear.

Rag in mind: not so soon sanskar. I want u to love me more and more.

Rain started. They remembered Thier moments which they spent during rain. They ran to car and sits. Both were breathing heavily. He sees rain drops on her face, on her lips. He was lost in that. She turned to him and saw him looking at her. She feels shy and looks down. Just then they heard a car horn which was standing behind Thier car. They sit properly and left for home.

They reached home.

Ap: both of u were in rain? See urself. Go and change or else u’ll get cold.

Sanskar changed. When Ragini opened cupboard to take dress she found a new dress with a note ” a small gift for a beautiful wife”. She smiles and looks at him. He turned to other side not to let her know that he was looking at her. She took dress. It was salwar of blue and white mixed colour. She was looking very pretty in that.

Rag: sanskar, look at me. Tell how m looking.

He saw her and cudnt take his eyes off from her.

San: gorgeous.

She blushed.

Rag: it’s time for dinner. I’ll change.

San: no need to change. U look gud in this. Let it b.

She nods.

All gathered for dinner. Dadi saw Ragini.

Dadi: Ragini, u r wearing salwar? U r married. Maheshwari family follows tradition.

Rag: dadi vo actually sanskar gifted me….

She cuts her.

Dadi: he’s ur husband. U shud not take his name.

Ragini looks down and says: sry dadi. I won’t repeat this next time.

All felt bad for Ragini. Sanskar was standing on steps and seeing this all. Ragini makes excuse and goes to her room. Sanskar follows her. He saw her sitting quietly. He kept his hand on her shoulder. She looked at him. He saw her eyes moist.

San: Ragini m really sry. Pls forgive me.ni never thought this will happen.

She dint answer.

San: pls say something. Ur silence Wil kill me.

Rag: from birth till now no one stopped me from doing anything whatever I wish. First time some one told. So I felt little bad. Give me sometime. I’ll adjust. U go for dinner. I’ll change and come. She goes to change.

San: I never thought like this will happen. Dadi is strict and traditional. That I know. Mom and chachi too r like that. But they’re free. But this is next generation. I never thought dadi is still in her generation and she want everyone to b like her. But it’s not possible. Ragini is really nice girl. She never told anything opposite u. But I can’t see her like this. I can’t take her freedom away from her. M her husband. It’s my responsibility to keep her happy.

She changed and come.

Rag: still u dint go? All must b waiting. Let’s go.

She left.

San: u r my wife Ragini. I understand u. I’ll not make u sad.
