Arjun Bijlani open up on the dull phase in his career after Miley Jab Hum Tum

Arjun Bijlani, who is currently essaying the role of Saveer Rathod in MX Players’ web series Roohaniyat, recently talked about it at the press meet of his web series in Delhi.

During a recent interview with ETimes TV, Arjun shared, “As an actor, you always want to get out of your comfort zone and perform a character that is challenging. Saveer is that character that I thought as an actor I’d enjoy doing. My directors convinced me that I should do it and I can pull it off.”

Arjun recently shared a post on his Instagram account to promote the show. He wrote, “Forever love is a lie’. Since it came without any pretext back then, many thought that there was trouble in his marriage with Neha. Arjun later shared another post clarifying all’s well in his married life.

Talking about it, he said, “I got so many calls because everybody thought there’s something wrong between me and Neha. And it wasn’t. It was very funny because we are doing a show together. Sabko laga wahan jhagda toh nahi ho gaya. We had friends calling. So, I had to put up an explanation that it’s me promoting my show and not personal. If you see the poster, it says ‘Forever is a lie’. It wasn’t deliberate to get attention. It was to promote the show.”

Arjun who is currently busy with three projects, Roohaniyat, Smart Jodi, and India’s Got Talent, also talked about the dull phase in his career after Miley Jab Hum Tum. He said, “I was very sad actually. I wasn’t offered the kind of roles I wanted to do. I also thought I’ll do bigger things and I said no to a lot of stuff. And then I thought I should have done some projects. You know you regret some decisions. I was depressed as it was happening after Miley Jab Hum Tum.”

He added, “Back then I told myself that just because something is not happening at a particular time doesn’t mean that you are not capable of achieving things. And I went ahead with my life, I struggled, I even got married. Once Ayaan came in, life completely changed. It was like a 360 degree turn. I signed Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi and Naagin which became such a huge success that things started falling into place.”

When asked about his take on the sequel of Miley Jab Hum Tum, the actor rep[lied, “I wish it comes back. That’s one show that has been very close to me. It was so colorful, real, and full of masti. I want all four of us to get back and do Miley Jab Hum Tum’s web show.”
