Star Plus’ new show Dadi Amma.. Dadi Amma Maan Jao will be taking up Sanjivani’s slot at 7.30 PM this January end. The show marks the comeback of veteran actors like Seema Biswas and Mohan Joshi. It is going to be a finite series. Seema and Mohan will be playing the old couple, looked after by their granddaughters, played by Sheen Dass and Anagha Bhosle. Sheen Dass is known as Pooja from Zee’s popular show Piya Albela. The perception on the old couple’s lives will be from the younger generation’s side. The story revolves around a middle class family. The elderly couple, Dada and Dadi will be seen having kiddish fights and cute personalities in their age over 70s.
They will be very close to their granddaughters, who cherish their old age bonding and fun. The show is trying to bring the social subject of valuing elderly people in the family. There will be lessons of moral values in every episode. The promo is already out. It has gained much appreciation because of the light take on serious concept.
