Kasautii Zindagii Kay aired on Star Plus for nearly seven years. It was one of the most successful shows which made Star Plus a leading channel of Hindi Entertainment. The show brought Anurag and Prerna’s trials of life. It starred Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan in the lead roles of Anurag and Prerna. They were very much appreciated for their chemistry and portrayals. Cezanne was later replaced by Hiten Tejwani. Ronit Roy, Urvashi Dholakia and Geetanjali Tikekar played the main antagonists. The show explored the story of two lovers Anurag and Prerna, who could never unite.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay became the third longest running Indian series after Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. A reboot Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is coming on the same channel after many years. Hina Khan is all set to play Komolika in the show. The essence of the show will be revived. Sets, costumes and the musical score as seen in the promo will be kept exactly like before. The new part will be just the actors.
