Girdhar tells Mahadev that his mother will scold him for leaving his daughter alone in a new place. Mahadev reassures him, saying she will stay in his house, and he will drop her back home in his car, so there’s no need to worry about her safety. He adds that if she stays, he can learn some science from her. Girdhar agrees and advises Apollena to be careful before leaving. Mahadev asks Apollena to get ready for the puja and leaves. Shlok glares at Apollena as she follows Saraswati to the kitchen.
Radha informs Saraswati that Bhabhi has a headache and is resting in her room. Saraswati goes to check on her, while Shlok, in anger, breaks a bottle. Apollena sarcastically remarks that he doesn’t have the courage to show his anger at her directly, so he takes it out on the bottle. Shlok accuses her of lying about her results, but Apollena defends herself, saying she truly thought she had failed. She then points out his own hypocrisy by showing him a newspaper where he ruined her picture. Sarangi enters, and Shlok warns her to stay away from Apollena or she’ll become like her.
Sarangi tells Apollena that she found the numbers she mentioned the previous day and compares them to the pineapple design. Apollena appreciates her and explains that these numbers are used in computer code. Radha enters, scolding Sarangi for wasting time on math instead of boiling potatoes. Meanwhile, Saraswati asks Rupa what’s wrong. Rupa lies about having a headache and refuses to help with the puja preparations. Vedh is frustrated with Rupa for always lying about her health and not helping his mother with the work.
Saraswati doesn’t know how to handle the situation, and Apollena advises her to cook chana and start working. Apollena, unsure of how to cook, suggests using YouTube for help. They begin measuring the masala. Radha again scolds Sarangi for wasting time with Apollena instead of washing the vessels, so Apollena offers to wash them herself.
Shlok and Varun are playing when Irani Rastogi arrives, commenting on how she looks more like a girl now. She gets angry, but Varun consoles her with a hug. He tells her he can see the love for Shlok in her eyes but advises her to stop developing feelings since Shlok only sees her as a friend. Irani insists that she will make him fall for her. They hear a noise and go to investigate.
Saraswati scolds Apollena again for washing the vessels and asks her if she’s cooked as instructed. Apollena says she already has, but Saraswati insists she can’t attend the puja with dirty hands. She scolds Radha for letting Apollena wash the vessels. Radha explains that she asked Sarangi to do it, but Apollena ended up washing them. Apollena argues that it’s wrong to make a child wash dishes, calling it illegal child labor. Radha defends their poverty as the reason they have to do the work. Apollena stands firm, saying it’s a crime to use child labor and insists that Sarangi is a bright student who deserves a chance to study.
Mahadev then sternly tells everyone that Sarangi should not be doing any household chores. Shlok and Apollena are pleased to hear this. Saraswati says she can’t perform the puja now, but Apollena offers to wash her hands for her. Mahadev suggests she take a full bath. Rupa tries to help but is scolded by Saraswati. Irani asks Shlok about Apollena, and he replies that she’s a mystery. He reveals that he’s been trying to change the system for a long time, but Apollena has worked her magic, and Mahadev agreed to her in just two minutes—she truly is something special.
