Anupamaa fame Adhik Mehta talks about the trouble in Adhik and Pakhi’s married life; says, “I don’t know yet if my character will have grey shades”
Popular show Anupamaa is currently witnessing the Pakhi (Muskaan Bamne) and Adhik’s (Adhik Mehta) wedding woes track in play. Adhik talked about it during a recent interview with ETimes TV and shared how the show is focusing on toxic marriages.
Talking about the issues that have cropped up in Pakhi and Adhik’s wedding, the actor said, “The show is currently focusing on the marriage track… like the man is never wrong in a marriage. But there are also very abusive marriages, where the dominant character is played by the woman and men are not able to raise their voices. There’s a certain level of patience and when it hits the roof, often the reaction comes out wrongly. The guy then reacts and the woman accuses him of domestic violence. That is very wrong. Before coming to any conclusion, one should always hear both sides of the story.”
When asked about the probability of his character having grey shades, he replied, “I really don’t have any idea about Adhik’s grey shade in the show. It depends on the producers and writers. If they want me to become a grey shade I will become one. If they don’t want to and people are liking it, let’s see what the writers and producers have in mind.”
For the unversed, Pakhi has been sending messages to Adhik saying she will take her life and there’s a blame game on between the two.
